We're calling a family meeting this Sunday to make plans for the funeral and discuss matters of inheretance. If father can hold out until then, he may make some final updates to his will, otherwise we will read what they have on file."
Micah swallowed hard and nodded slowly, clearly looking a little shaken by the sudden news. "I understand. I'll make plans to be there. Will it be at your house?"
Father shook his head. "No, it will be at my father's house. I'll send you the address. We will meet at noon, and keep the rest of the day clear. It may take a while."

When Dreamer logged in that night, there was no sex to be had. Before she could get too impatient and try to force the issue, she caught one of Beta's thought-threads reviewing the message from earlier. Respectfully, she backed out of Beta's mind and went off to earn a few credits.

When Elise and Micah met for lunch the next day, she could see he was a bit depressed. She didn't linger long on the bad news itself, but quickly set about asking him about his grandparents, bringing out his fondest memories of them.
