Because of their grace and beauty, they were treasured sex slaves in the past. They were also famous and priced assassins, even today they are trained in stealth from the day they can walk and frequently consume small amounts of Kirimai, a special poison that causes apparent death. Because of this they build up an immunity and can, for example, eat food they poisoned beforehand, to give a target a false sense of immunity. Another trick is to actually put Kirimai into the maw and then kiss the target.\n\nFaun himself left the Misty Cliffs when he was still rather young. Being a (male-leaning) herm, he typically would not live very long, most Kinarishi herms don't even reach maturity.
