Ion reluctantly agreed as he did have trouble trying to sit up and didn't want to risk any more setbacks. Meeka then placed a fresh hospital gown on Ion's bed, saying he could change into it if he desired when he wanted to walk around the patient residence but if he wanted to move around in just his fur he was fine to do that as well, though he might get some questions about the scars on his body from curious patients and guests. Meeka then left Ion alone as she had to perform some scheduled surgeries on other patients, where Ion just laid back down to relax until Zephyr arrived.\n\nA few hours past before Ion, who had his eyes closed trying to take a small nap, head small tapping on the door to his room. Moments latter the door opened, with Zephyr walking in, him happily greeting Ion, asking how he was feeling. Ion told Zephyr he was feeling great, giving him the news of what Meeka told him. Ion was estatic as he sat up and attempted to get out of bed but Meeka held him back down for a moment. She did tell him that while he was free to move around, she wanted him to wait until his mate Zephyr can to visit latter, as with the amount of time he was confined to bed, Ion&#039;s legs would be very weak, so she wanted someone to make sure he didn&#039;t fall and hurt himself. Ion reluctantly agreed as he did have trouble trying to sit up and didn&#039;t want to risk any more setbacks. Meeka then placed a fresh hospital gown on Ion&#039;s bed, saying he could change into it if he desired when he wanted to walk around the patient residence but if he wanted to move around in just his fur he was fine to do that as well, though he might get some questions about the scars on his body from curious patients and guests. Meeka then left Ion alone as she had to perform some scheduled surgeries on other patients, where Ion just laid back down to relax until Zephyr arrived.<br /><br />A few hours past before Ion, who had his eyes closed trying to take a small nap, head small tapping on the door to his room. Moments latter the door opened, with Zephyr walking in, him happily greeting Ion, asking how he was feeling. Ion told Zephyr he was feeling great, giving him the news of what Meeka told him. Zephyr was ecstatic with the news, as Ion again sat up and positioned himself sitting on the side of the bed. &quot;So you really don&#039;t want to waste any time do ya&quot; Zephyr snarkly said to Ion, &quot;You got that right!&quot; Ion happily said back with a large smile on his face. Zephyr went to Ion&#039;s side and leaned down, letting Ion brace himself against him as he started to stand up out of bed. Ion&#039;s legs shaked as he was trying to balance himself, Zephyr told him to be careful, as Ion tried to take his first step but his legs started to buckle. Zephyr quickly grabbed a tighter hold on Ion as he gripped the pole of his dropper harder to stop himself from tumbling. &quot;Take it easy, you haven&#039;t walked in a long time, you need to be more careful&quot; Zephyr slightly scolded Ion, though in a warming way. &quot;Thanks... don&#039;t worry I will, I just got a bit overly excited, thats all&quot; Ion replied back. Slowly the two boys made it to the doorway of Ion&#039;s room and into the hallway, they took their time walking to the end where there was a large window looking out to the large city beyond. Ion felt good as his spirits lifted, he was finally on the way back and with this walk he was one step closer to continuing back on with his dream.
