Thanks to @Pathwarden for commissioning it.\n\nIn the original draft there was a literal presence in the altar room, and they were going to be about-to-get-attacked-by-ghosts for desecrating the place, only to have it be interrupted by the search party. The fluids were also going to drip down the channels in the altar to activate some spooky shit in the yveltal idol in the roof, and the introductory section where they made their way through the caverns and into the ruins was a bit longer, but it had to be chopped down bit. It was already kind of long at 39 pages, the original draft with the extra stuff and more b plot was around 58 pages or something, and \n\nwell sometimes you've gotta take a carving knife to your script to get down to the core of what you're trying to make.\n\nAnyway, it was a lot of work, and a lot of cartoon butts, but,\n\nThanks for reading.
