The now 12 years old mouse girl thanked him with a pad on his hand when she sat down exhausted. The ring on her finger reflected the light of the fire in the chimney.\n\n“You know them.” She replied. “They were full of energy.”\nThe twins Ana and Mirian, two little mouse girls with white fur from head to toe, were 3 now and they developed a natural aversion to going to sleep at night. It was always a fight for Arthom and Laila to get them to sleep, even more, when they were on a visit at Chaya’s place.\n\n“I don’t know from whom they got that.” Arthom complaint. “You were not like that when you were young at their age.” He still remembered how his wife had been as a little kid.\n\nBefore the twins had been born, Arthom had taken the step and asked Laila officially to marry her and to his surprise, her parents approved it. After finding out that she had been pregnant, they first had been very angry at Chaya, but when Laila explained, that she just wanted to try something out she heard at school with Mig, and after some time passed, they forgave Chaya that she did not have a closer eye on them.\n\nWhen the cute cubs had been born, Laila’s parents had been all over them and Arthom had assumed all father duties without even being asked. It was natural for him to care for Laila’s cubs as if they were his own.\n\nThe same was true for Tia, the lynx girl of Chaya, that had the build from her mother, but a pitch-black coat and black eyes from Arthom, and Brian, the lynx boy of Miya, which only got the eyes from his father. He visited them often with Laila and acted around the two lynx cubs the same way he acted around Laila’s cubs. The only difference was that he did not only act as their father, but was indeed their father, which they did not tell anyone else yet.\n\n“Tia and Brian fell asleep right away.” He explained her. He had been the one to bring them to bed and he returned already over thirty minutes before Laila. Because they knew the energy of the mouse girls, they had the mice sleep in a different room. The big house of Chaya’s and Miya’s parents had enough rooms to make this possible.\n\n“You are so lucky.” Laila addressed Chaya and Miya, who sat on the table drinking cocoa. Chaya was 18 now and she had grown into a real beauty. She had had quite some lynx boys courting her, but she rejected them all.\n\nEven though Arthom had told her that she should get a man herself and he would still be there for the cubs if this happed, Chaya did not want to have a boyfriend or a man beside Arthom. She knew that he was Laila’s officially and she would always just be a good friend, but the lynx girl, like her little sister, had a crush on the big black panther and would not settle with any other man.\n\nMiya looked just like Chaya had looked when the older sister conceived her cub. Arthom padded her paw and the girl smiled up to him.\n\nEven though he was married with Laila, he still had sexual intercourse with the lynx sisters every now and then. Naturally, Laila knew and gave her consent. They made sure to not get the girls pregnant again, by using condoms or the girls took contraceptives, but lately Chaya had been bugging Arthom that she wanted another child from him.\n\nThe topic came up every now and then and while Laila was indifferent to the request and told them that she would not mind, Arthom always rejected the idea. With him being over at Chaya’s and Miya’s place often, he was afraid that this time their parents would catch on who the father was, because he interacted with their daughters’ multiple times a week and the behavior of the girls around him made clear what they thought of the big man.\n\nArthom had grown quite big, outdoing his father even and with all the sports and training he did, his body was bulk from muscles. He was a looker, and he also got a lot of female cats purr at him when he walked outside.\n\nWhen he was together with Chaya, they often stayed clear, thinking that they were a pair. But if he was outside only with Laila, they were bolder and some even had tried to seduce him, which made the mouse girl scream at them to go away from her husband. There was nothing as scary as Laila, when she got angry and Arthom always had to chuckle, when the cat girls ran off, with their tail between their legs and their ears flat at their skull.\n\nIn the city, everyone knew by now about Laila and Arthom. For one thing, he never tried to hide it after they got married, for another, he was famous as a football player by now. After school ended, he had been scouted by the local team and played professionally now.\nOriginally, he had wanted to study but he now did this on the side with a long-distance program and in addition he also learned for a trainer license, already thinking about the time after his career as a player.\n\nBut this would be far in the future because the moment he had stepped on the pitch, he had been undefeated, and the crowd loved him.\nWith his build he had directly been put in as a linebacker, a position that usually was for much more experienced players, but he had aced the position directly. In his first year in the professional league, he got the newcomer award as well as league MVP and there was no football fan in the country that did not hear his name.\n\nThe energetic little white mouse had been to a few games and Arthom introduced her to his team and the fans, which was why everyone knew her by now. And because the city loved Arthom as their defense ace, together with Zander Linners, a gazelle with a slim but very muscular built that was the quarterback of the team and was the ace of their offense, they also held the mouse girl deer and wherever she went in the city, everyone greeted her and once total strangers even defended her, when she got harassed by some punks in front of the stadium.\n\n“That was quite sudden.” Arthom addressed Chaya. “You were lucky, that we have a few free days from training now.\nThe lynx girl shrugged her shoulders. “Don’t blame me. Our parents suggested we invite you.”\n\nArthom was surprised. “Did they give you a reason?” he sat down and felt the hand of Laila caress over his in affection. He looked to the side and saw that she was nearly falling asleep on her chair but he knew that she would not go to bed now, so he just let her be and grabbed her hand to hold it while he let their connected hands sink on the mouse girls lap.\n\n“No, and on top of that they are late. They said they would be home already.” Chaya complained.\nJust at this moment, they could hear a key being turned in the door and the door being opened. A few minutes later, the doors of the living room, where all of them sat, opened and Mr. und Mrs. Tsuki entered.\n\n“Sorry that it took us so long. There was a big traffic jam.” Mrs. Tsuki explained. They took a seat across Arthom after they had reached out a hand to him. Laila had fallen asleep but now woke up and greeted them with a handshake as well.\n\n“Chaya just told us that it had been your suggestion to suddenly invite us for this evening.” Arthom started the topic and he saw Mr. Tsuki narrow his eyebrows and make a serious face, but he stayed silent.\n\n“Yes, it was our idea, because we wanted to talk with you.” His wife answered after a stern look to her husband.\n\nArthom looked at her with interest. “What did you want to discuss with me?” he asked, uncertain if maybe something happened. The whole atmosphere suddenly got very strange and awkward.\n\n“Well, … I think it is best to just spill out the beans.” She continued, after her husband still did not attempt to speak, even after another stern look of her.\n“We know that you are the father of Tia and Brian.” She explained and the mouth of Arthom went open in a big O but he closed it fast when he got back to his senses after the shock.\n\n“What do you mean?” he asked, trying hard to make his voice sound solid and confused, even though his stomach was turning in circles. This came so unexpected, because this never had been brought up and he had been sure that they did not suspect anything.\n\n“You don’t need to play dump with us.” The mother lectured him. “We got suspicious that the father of them is the same right after Brian was born. Black eyes are not that common, you know. Especially with Lynxes.”\n\nHer voice was calm and soft, and it did not sound as if she was scolding him or was angry at him, but the content of what she said made Arthom get very uneasy.\n“We had their blood checked and it confirmed that they have the same father. And when you showed up, it was kind of evident, that you are the father. I mean the way you act with them, your black eyes, the way my daughters look at you…”\n\nHis muzzle was open again and he could not help but feel totally dumbfounded. Chaya and Miya looked just as shocked as he was, but he only looked at Mrs. Tsuki.\n“But…” his voice sounded husky. “… but how… why… I mean why did you now…”\n\n“… say anything?” the mother sighed. “Well, on the one hand we saw how happy our daughters were. Don’t be mistaken, we both were furious when we found out they are pregnant, but by the time the cubs were born, we already accepted it. And when we then found out who the father of them most likely was, my husband told me to say nothing.\n\nMr. Tsuki grumbled and let out a rustling caugh. His wife did not regard it.\n“You see, he is a big fan of our football team and of you to be honest. He did not want you to fall into a slump because we confronted you with it.”\n\nArthom closed his mouth again, looking at Mr. Tsuki for a moment, who felt clearly uncomfortable.\n“And then later we never found the right time. But I felt we had to tell you even though some of us…” and she shot a gaze towards her husband, who cleared his throat. “… feel that this is not needed.”\n\n“Mom…” Chaya started but her mother held her hand up to signal her that she should be silent.\n“Don’t worry, I did not decide to do this to scold him. Like I said we are long past that. We also do not want to lecture him about taking care of the children, because we see that he takes the responsibility serious.” She looked back at Arthom.\n\n“Keeping a secret can cause you to be anxious and I felt that you were wary with us from the start. There always was an anxiety and some barrier between us and you seemed uncomfortable in our present. I think it is important that we come clean and have no secrets, so we can start to act like a family.”\n\nThe rest of the evening, Arthom explained what happened, how he gave in to Chaya’s request and lost control with Miya. Sometimes, Chaya tuned in and explained more in detail, when she noticed that he tried to avoid talking about her forceful approach.\n\n“Thank you, that you told us.” Mrs. Tsuki got up and hugged first him and then her daughters. “We always felt about you like out son in law and even though he is too embarrassed to admit it, my husband is super proud whenever he sees you play, telling me that this is the father of his grandchildren. Mr. Tsuki made a gesture with his hand to dismiss this towards his wife.\n\n“You are exaggerating…” he said but he sounded embarrassed. “… but I have to admit, that you are a great player… and … a great father as well…” he said. Arthom did not press the issue. He just got up, walked over to the chair the man was sitting and clapped him on the shoulder. They shared one gaze and it was all that was needed. They understood each other. There was no need for words. The tense atmosphere in the room lightened up when both males relaxed.\n\n“Then there should be no problem to get another child now, is there?” Chaya suddenly threw in, and Arthom winced from her sudden and loud voice.\n\n“What?” asked her mother.\n“I want to have another one. But Arthom was too afraid you would then notice that he is the father… but now that you know, it should be okay, right Arthom?”\n\n“Hmm…” made Arthom, eying her father. “Go ahead son. Not my decision.” He said with a sudden chuckle. “Let me tell you something from years of experience. You can’t argue with a woman. You will always lose!” his laugh got stuck when his eyes met the stern look of his wife and now all others had to laugh, because this scene was like a confirmation of his statement.\n\n“Well, if my wife has nothing against it…” Arthom started but Laila just shook her head. She had told him before that she had nothing against him having more cubs with Chaya, but she herself had enough with her twins. They were her love but also her challenge.\n\n“I guess that’s that…” he said defeated. “I would say you don’t know what you get yourself in, but yu do.” He joked.\n“This is so exciting.” It was Miya, the younger sister, speaking in an excited voice and her eyes glistered. “Let’s go upstairs right away. Incidentally my heat started just yesterday…”\n\n“This was about Chaya, not you Miya.” Arthom interrupted her, making the girl pout. “I did not know you wanted this as well. Chaya is adult now, but you are still…”\n\n“Oh yea, because I do not have a kid already from, guess who…” she shot at him with an angry voice that was this time interrupted from the loud laughter of her father.\n“I told you son! No use arguing with women or girls. I came to a consensus with you fucking my girls, but I don’t need to hear it. It was enough last month when you visited on the weekend.”\n\n“You heard us?...” Chaya whispered and held her paws in front of her muzzle.\n“Honey, I think the whole town heard you. You were so loud that you did not even hear your mom and me coming home, right?” the ears of both girls went flat, when they remembered the night, they had spent with Arthom and imagining that their parents had heard all of it.\n\n“Deal!” said Arthom, trying hard to hide his own embarrassment. “But then you must take care of the kids if they wake up. We might not hear the baby phone when we are at it.”\n\n“I will stay upstairs. I am too tired for that tonight.” Came the voice of Laila.\nArthom turned to his wife and looked at her with a soft expression and his voice became very soft.\n“Are you sure? And you are really okay with this?” the mouse girl pinched his belly so hard that he nearly screamed.\n\n“Make sure I don’t hear complaints tomorrow. Give it your all. And I don’t care how tired you are, tomorrow it is your turn with the twins.” She told him and with then she jumped up into his arm to give him a good night kiss. He softly caught her and put her back on the ground afterwards.\n\nMr. and Mrs. Tsuki went upstairs together with Laila and he heard the doors closing upstairs. Chaya and Miya already looked at him with longing eyes.\n“Didn’t your heat end last week?” he asked Chaya. “And?...” she asked back.\n“Oh, don’t mind…” he replied and sighed. He had thought about going with all three ladies to bed in the guestroom in the basement, but when Laila stepped out, he thought Chaya would step out as well. It seemed that the girl was longing for some actions as well. Arthom knew, that this would become a long night for him. Dealing with two kittens, one of them in heat, was more exhausting than a full game of football.\n\nFollowing this night, Arthom and Laila were even more regular guests at the Tsuki’s mansion. They even invited Laila’s and Arthom’s parents over, and soon they all knew about the cubs, and about the relationship of Arthom, Chaya and Miya and they became one big family.\nNine month later a little girl was added to the family and another month later a second girl. The mothers Chaya and Miya were satisfied after each getting their second litter and the family did not grow further until Arthom’s daughters got cubs on their own, but by then, the had already retired as a player and acted as coach for the football team.\n\nAll turned out to be good for Arthom and he never stopped to love and care for his girls and cubs. But the one with a special spot in his heart always remained Laila and she as well held him dear for the rest of their lives. With him being over at Chaya’s and Miya’s place often, he was afraid that this time their parents would catch on who the father was, because he interacted with their daughters’ multiple times a week and the behavior of the girls around him made clear what they thought of the big man.

Arthom had grown quite big, outdoing his father even and with all the sports and training he did, his body was bulk from muscles. He was a looker, and he also got a lot of female cats purr at him when he walked outside.

When he was together with Chaya, they often stayed clear, thinking that they were a pair. But if he was outside only with Laila, they were bolder and some even had tried to seduce him, which made the mouse girl scream at them to go away from her husband. There was nothing as scary as Laila, when she got angry and Arthom always had to chuckle, when the cat girls ran off, with their tail between their legs and their ears flat at their skull.

In the city, everyone knew by now about Laila and Arthom. For one thing, he never tried to hide it after they got married, for another, he was famous as a football player by now. After school ended, he had been scouted by the local team and played professionally now.
Originally, he had wanted to study but he now did this on the side with a long-distance program and in addition he also learned for a trainer license, already thinking about the time after his career as a player.

But this would be far in the future because the moment he had stepped on the pitch, he had been undefeated, and the crowd loved him.
With his build he had directly been put in as a linebacker, a position that usually was for much more experienced players, but he had aced the position directly. In his first year in the professional league, he got the newcomer award as well as league MVP and there was no football fan in the country that did not hear his name.

The energetic little white mouse had been to a few games and Arthom introduced her to his team and the fans, which was why everyone knew her by now. And because the city loved Arthom as their defense ace, together with Zander Linners, a gazelle with a slim but very muscular built that was the quarterback of the team and was the ace of their offense, they also held the mouse girl deer and wherever she went in the city, everyone greeted her and once total strangers even defended her, when she got harassed by some punks in front of the stadium.

“That was quite sudden.” Arthom addressed Chaya. “You were lucky, that we have a few free days from training now.
The lynx girl shrugged her shoulders. “Don’t blame me. Our parents suggested we invite you.”

Arthom was surprised. “Did they give you a reason?” he sat down and felt the hand of Laila caress over his in affection. He looked to the side and saw that she was nearly falling asleep on her chair but he knew that she would not go to bed now, so he just let her be and grabbed her hand to hold it while he let their connected hands sink on the mouse girls lap.

“No, and on top of that they are late. They said they would be home already.” Chaya complained.
Just at this moment, they could hear a key being turned in the door and the door being opened. A few minutes later, the doors of the living room, where all of them sat, opened and Mr. und Mrs. Tsuki entered.

“Sorry that it took us so long. There was a big traffic jam.” Mrs. Tsuki explained. They took a seat across Arthom after they had reached out a hand to him. Laila had fallen asleep but now woke up and greeted them with a handshake as well.

“Chaya just told us that it had been your suggestion to suddenly invite us for this evening.” Arthom started the topic and he saw Mr. Tsuki narrow his eyebrows and make a serious face, but he stayed silent.

“Yes, it was our idea, because we wanted to talk with you.” His wife answered after a stern look to her husband.

Arthom looked at her with interest. “What did you want to discuss with me?” he asked, uncertain if maybe something happened. The whole atmosphere suddenly got very strange and awkward.

“Well, … I think it is best to just spill out the beans.” She continued, after her husband still did not attempt to speak, even after another stern look of her.
“We know that you are the father of Tia and Brian.” She explained and the mouth of Arthom went open in a big O but he closed it fast when he got back to his senses after the shock.

“What do you mean?” he asked, trying hard to make his voice sound solid and confused, even though his stomach was turning in circles. This came so unexpected, because this never had been brought up and he had been sure that they did not suspect anything.

“You don’t need to play dump with us.” The mother lectured him. “We got suspicious that the father of them is the same right after Brian was born. Black eyes are not that common, you know. Especially with Lynxes.”

Her voice was calm and soft, and it did not sound as if she was scolding him or was angry at him, but the content of what she said made Arthom get very uneasy.
“We had their blood checked and it confirmed that they have the same father. And when you showed up, it was kind of evident, that you are the father. I mean the way you act with them, your black eyes, the way my daughters look at you…”

His muzzle was open again and he could not help but feel totally dumbfounded. Chaya and Miya looked just as shocked as he was, but he only looked at Mrs. Tsuki.
“But…” his voice sounded husky. “… but how… why… I mean why did you now…”

“… say anything?” the mother sighed. “Well, on the one hand we saw how happy our daughters were. Don’t be mistaken, we both were furious when we found out they are pregnant, but by the time the cubs were born, we already accepted it. And when we then found out who the father of them most likely was, my husband told me to say nothing.

Mr. Tsuki grumbled and let out a rustling caugh. His wife did not regard it.
“You see, he is a big fan of our football team and of you to be honest. He did not want you to fall into a slump because we confronted you with it.”

Arthom closed his mouth again, looking at Mr. Tsuki for a moment, who felt clearly uncomfortable.
“And then later we never found the right time. But I felt we had to tell you even though some of us…” and she shot a gaze towards her husband, who cleared his throat. “… feel that this is not needed.”

“Mom…” Chaya started but her mother held her hand up to signal her that she should be silent.
“Don’t worry, I did not decide to do this to scold him. Like I said we are long past that. We also do not want to lecture him about taking care of the children, because we see that he takes the responsibility serious.” She looked back at Arthom.

“Keeping a secret can cause you to be anxious and I felt that you were wary with us from the start. There always was an anxiety and some barrier between us and you seemed uncomfortable in our present. I think it is important that we come clean and have no secrets, so we can start to act like a family.”

The rest of the evening, Arthom explained what happened, how he gave in to Chaya’s request and lost control with Miya. Sometimes, Chaya tuned in and explained more in detail, when she noticed that he tried to avoid talking about her forceful approach.

“Thank you, that you told us.” Mrs. Tsuki got up and hugged first him and then her daughters. “We always felt about you like out son in law and even though he is too embarrassed to admit it, my husband is super proud whenever he sees you play, telling me that this is the father of his grandchildren. Mr. Tsuki made a gesture with his hand to dismiss this towards his wife.

“You are exaggerating…” he said but he sounded embarrassed. “… but I have to admit, that you are a great player… and … a great father as well…” he said. Arthom did not press the issue. He just got up, walked over to the chair the man was sitting and clapped him on the shoulder. They shared one gaze and it was all that was needed. They understood each other. There was no need for words. The tense atmosphere in the room lightened up when both males relaxed.

“Then there should be no problem to get another child now, is there?” Chaya suddenly threw in, and Arthom winced from her sudden and loud voice.

“What?” asked her mother.
“I want to have another one. But Arthom was too afraid you would then notice that he is the father… but now that you know, it should be okay, right Arthom?”

“Hmm…” made Arthom, eying her father. “Go ahead son. Not my decision.” He said with a sudden chuckle. “Let me tell you something from years of experience. You can’t argue with a woman. You will always lose!” his laugh got stuck when his eyes met the stern look of his wife and now all others had to laugh, because this scene was like a confirmation of his statement.

“Well, if my wife has nothing against it…” Arthom started but Laila just shook her head. She had told him before that she had nothing against him having more cubs with Chaya, but she herself had enough with her twins. They were her love but also her challenge.

“I guess that’s that…” he said defeated. “I would say you don’t know what you get yourself in, but yu do.” He joked.
“This is so exciting.” It was Miya, the younger sister, speaking in an excited voice and her eyes glistered. “Let’s go upstairs right away. Incidentally my heat started just yesterday…”

“This was about Chaya, not you Miya.” Arthom interrupted her, making the girl pout. “I did not know you wanted this as well. Chaya is adult now, but you are still…”

“Oh yea, because I do not have a kid already from, guess who…” she shot at him with an angry voice that was this time interrupted from the loud laughter of her father.
“I told you son! No use arguing with women or girls. Trust me, I lived with them for much longer than you.” He gave a hard clap on the shoulder of Arthom with his hands, after he stood up from his chair.

“But if you must do it now, use the room in the basement. I came to a consensus with you fucking my girls, but I don’t need to hear it. It was enough last month when you visited on the weekend.”

“You heard us?...” Chaya whispered and held her paws in front of her muzzle.
“Honey, I think the whole town heard you. You were so loud that you did not even hear your mom and me coming home, right?” the ears of both girls went flat, when they remembered the night, they had spent with Arthom and imagining that their parents had heard all of it.

“Deal!” said Arthom, trying hard to hide his own embarrassment. “But then you must take care of the kids if they wake up. We might not hear the baby phone when we are at it.”

“I will stay upstairs. I am too tired for that tonight.” Came the voice of Laila.
Arthom turned to his wife and looked at her with a soft expression and his voice became very soft.
“Are you sure? And you are really okay with this?” the mouse girl pinched his belly so hard that he nearly screamed.

“Make sure I don’t hear complaints tomorrow. Give it your all. And I don’t care how tired you are, tomorrow it is your turn with the twins.” She told him and with then she jumped up into his arm to give him a good night kiss. He softly caught her and put her back on the ground afterwards.

Mr. and Mrs. Tsuki went upstairs together with Laila and he heard the doors closing upstairs. Chaya and Miya already looked at him with longing eyes.
“Didn’t your heat end last week?” he asked Chaya. “And?...” she asked back.
“Oh, don’t mind…” he replied and sighed. He had thought about going with all three ladies to bed in the guestroom in the basement, but when Laila stepped out, he thought Chaya would step out as well. It seemed that the girl was longing for some actions as well. Arthom knew, that this would become a long night for him. Dealing with two kittens, one of them in heat, was more exhausting than a full game of football.

Following this night, Arthom and Laila were even more regular guests at the Tsuki’s mansion. They even invited Laila’s and Arthom’s parents over, and soon they all knew about the cubs, and about the relationship of Arthom, Chaya and Miya and they became one big family.
Nine month later a little girl was added to the family and another month later a second girl. The mothers Chaya and Miya were satisfied after each getting their second litter and the family did not grow further until Arthom’s daughters got cubs on their own, but by then, the had already retired as a player and acted as coach for the football team.

All turned out to be good for Arthom and he never stopped to love and care for his girls and cubs. But the one with a special spot in his heart always remained Laila and she as well held him dear for the rest of their lives. They were an unusual pair, but all around them accepted them.
