-No blankets for your guest, are you mocking me? The pale girl with blue eyes and hair groused while hugging herself, trying to stop her shaking. -What were you expecting? Last time you visited me was 70 years ago... Cloth doesn’t last that long. You could’ve skinned a fluffy on your way here, or y’know, tell me you are coming before actually arriving... The snow leopard answered, throwing her black coat at the girl, her pale grey spotted fur covering an unsurprising body. The girl rejected the coat. -I’ve said it before, I won’t wear the attire of death. -Suit yourself then. The snow leopard answered, putting her coat back on. -Girls, calm down. A young man in black leathers snapped his fingers and a flame was born in the middle of the crystal cave, quickly becoming a soothing bonfire. The pale girl removed her shiny armor pieces, leaving her body covered only in the thin layer of cloth from her dress, sat down next to the fire and wrapped herself in her feathery wings to keep the heat from escaping her body. -Sorry Izumi, I didn’t want to be mean, its just.... today is.... -Oh right, it is your birthday, I should have remembered. The angel apologized. -Doesn’t matter, you guys took a while to come here, is there some problem upstairs? -What do you think? It’s been a mess up there ever since that idiot’s wish. -Yes, indeed. The realms continue merging at an increased rate. Its a matter of just a few more centuries before it all clashes... The demon broke into the conversation. -And that is not all, it has become increasingly difficult to differ every soul. We do not know anymore where the line of sinning sits now. The angel added. -Does it even matter anymore? The world we knew ceased exiting that day. Too late for me... But whatever, have you guys got anything? -No, whomever granted that wish isn’t from our realms, and we can’t investigate much when we re busy dealing with all this chaos... The demon answered. The angel moved to sit next to the snow leopard. -So Milyy, how are you holding up? -You always ask that same question. Im fine as always. -Darling, you’ve never been fine, you went through a harsh life and now you have to deal with being death itself, it’s never an easy thing. -I barely have any memories left of my past, more than a thousand years is enough to forget most of them. The angel hugged Milyy but the cat’s heart was lost, her mind drifting away. -I have to go, work calls. -Good seeing you girl, we’ll come back some other time. The demon said before opening some sort of rift and walking through it. The leopard didn’t even answer, she just turned and left the crystal cave towards whatever errand was on her schedule. The smoke dissipated, the cold cat stepped onto the street, one of the lower districts of Neon City. Her paws got soaked in water from the rain that had just ended. The ambient was moist, heavy, and cold. She looked around, not much to see, most doors hid clubs and slaughterhouses behind them, but the leopard went for a closed metal door, no lights under it, no sound coming from it. She touched the door’s lock and only a few seconds later, the lock froze and shattered into pieces. She headed inside, traversing a long passageway shrouded in darkness, only fought by a few old lights that barely casted any shadows. A long walk that seemed to take half an hour, until she finally reached a door, metalic, huge, and thick, but not perfectly sealed... Behind the door she found a group of furs experimenting on ferals and cubs. A few lions and wolves were pinning down the cub with their barbed and knotted cocks, filling them and breaking their bodies. But they werent fuckmeat, they were not enjoying it mindlessly, some liked it, the majority were crying or had already lost their minds and were all numb. Once a cub became useless, one of the furs would pick it up, grab a scalpel, and dissect it alive, collecting various samples of tissues and fluids, then pouring them on some sort of poorly made lab that would end turning the samples into some sort of pale green liquid. Milyy stepped out of the shadows, her scythe in hand. The furs turned to look at her, but before they could even say a word, Milyy pounced on a dog, slashing its legs and arms, severing its limbs, making him fall down, unable to move. The ferals begn growling and hissing at the cat, some scared of her, some ready to attack her while the furs dropped everything and tried to hide or run away, but the only door was behind the snow leopard. A myriad of bodies and severed limbs laying on the floor, cubs, ferals, and furs alike, all dead. A silent room, a shattered chemistry lab, and a snow leopard who could barely manage to keep her form. She hid a few samples of the green substance under her cape, left behind the corpses of furs that would never come back, all lonely on a place that no one would ever check. There was a cat that would certainly be interested in what this guys were doing...
