"description": "This is a resub, and a rather recent one at that. It's among the last Timmy arts I made before I had my theological crisis ...part of which the suggestiveness of this piece helped bring about.\n\nOriginally, I described this drawing with only one noun: vulnerability.\n\nTimmy arts are generally cuddlesome and/or humorous, but there have been a few overtly suggestive ones that encroached on the cheeriness of Timmy's world.\n\nTimmy is more than my OC in that Timmy is, in fact, me: he's the ghost of my innocence, representing my eight-year-old self.\nTimmy and most of his animal friends have a mutual perspective on one another---they don't think 'sex', but rather they think as one who sees a fluffy bunny: something cute to pet/play with. :3\n\nEven so, there exist creatures who view Timmy differently. After all, Timmy does exist within my imagination, and though I'm not (presently) a sexually active person (and don't want to be), I am not 'innocent': I'm an adult and am both psychologically and biologically 'aware' of sex.\n\nWhat is sex? Sex is a word, and words are (themselves) meaningless. For example, I can say \"Lamp\", but unless both the hearer and myself know what a lamp is, the word has no meaning. ...And so it is with 'sex', which (often) means many different things to different people. 'Sex' is, in fact, a word that effectively means so much that it means nothing---requiring explanation in order to make sense.\n\n'Sex' is a word that I cannot describe with words. Instead, I have to rely on art to convey my understanding/experience of it to another person.\nThe most sexually honest drawing I've ever made (and ever will make) is 'Pika Pats'; 'Pika Pats' is my sexuality and it's also 'sex', idealized.\n\nPika Pats: https://inkbunny.net/s/1752355\n\nIn my arts, Timmy is NOT what I'm attracted to. Rather, what is of interest (on my end) is how Timmy is perceived/responded-to by the other subjects (Timmy does not appear in art by himself).\nThus, what appeals to me in these drawings is not what is delineated in them, but the intangible, invisible things they connote.\nAmong those is 'nudity'. Nudity is a condition: the state of being undressed. In other words, nudity is something one can see, yet nudity has no form or tangible existence (it's simply the state of being undressed).\nSuffice it to say, the 'nudity' is of greater consequence (to me) than the character who is nude. :3 ...as well the fact Timmy has both the freedom and confidence TO BE nude, even if the latter is based partly in ignorance (i.e., Timmy knows he isn't wearing anything, but doesn't know he's 'naked').\nThe significance of that, for me, would require a biographical insight into my childhood (which I'll not get into here, but the appeal should now be clear).\n\n'Pika Pats' also shows Ribbon and Ball: the two infatuated Pika girls (Kanto region, hence the tails).\nThe empty space between the characters is of greater interest to me, as well that which one cannot see but can imagine is taking place in the minds of the Pikas.\n\n'Pika Pats' is like a flower. A flower, lovely as it is, doesn't seem to do anything, yet the flower is very busy. Much is happening in the drawing, albeit we cannot see it.\nRibbon looks up, expectantly. At the same time, Timmy looks at her, gesturing in a similar fashion as Ribbon (the two are communicating).\nBall appears at the bottom---her eyes focused on Timmy's form.\n\nWhat is displayed, to me, is a blend of several things working in harmony:\n\nEquality; respect---there's no competing here for affections; no jealousy.\nReciprocation---tricky, but dots can be connected here.\nLove---obvious, but it's shown in variations: giving (material); help/support (Ball); mutual fondness (Timmy-Ribbon); physical attraction (Ball).\n\nIt's a peculiar, complex (yet well-balanced) relationship. That is what 'sex' is to me---it's not so much an act as it is a relationship shared/experienced with another (Ribbon and Ball are effectively one).\n\n...And then there's this pice: 'Burrow'. 'Burrow' is, in many ways, the opposite of 'Pika Pats', yet it too is 'sex'.\n\nI was unsure exactly who/what the fox represented. Could she be an incarnation of my knowledge of (but not desire for) sex/adult ideas, and/or of my interest in humoring my fetishes (which, again, are 'adult' in spirit if not in nature)?\n\nMay she also be a projection of my 'learned' ideas, such as from studying site rules/State laws on artistic nudity? To put it simply, in general, I had the notion burned in my head that any who draw nude cubs/kids is criminalized by society---context/intentions notwithstanding (honestly, I was afraid of uploading my Timmy arts throughout their first year or so).\n\nEither way, this fox is no good. She is, curiously, an adult fox---objectively/definably 'adult' characters are rare in Timmy's universe (save for moms, since moms go with cubs).\n\nThe fox sees Timmy as something naive/innocent she can take into her burrow---that much is clear.\n\nI drew this during a period of emotional vulnerability: my S/O had died not long before I made this: I was a displaced wreck!\nI turned to God and began questioning many things, among those was my artwork, which I'd hitherto reasoned as having artistic merit, but was beginning to question.\n\nIn light of that, 'Burrow' gains significance. It shows the fear of what my art could become, or (subconsciously) is already---something more in line with, or compatible with the mainstream definition of 'sex'. \nWhile Timmy has almost always been PG in nature, the facts that (in mainstream thought) nudity and sex are inseparable (even if neither necessitates the other), and that imagination revels in what-ifs, invites exploitation---it makes Timmy 'vulnerable' or susceptible to corruption.\n\nThe mature fox is shown running away with Timmy (a metaphor in itself): she has removed him from his meadow of comfort, towards the darkness of her burrow (the imagination).\n\nThis is, I think, a depiction of something that 'could be', either in present or future tense---whether in my eyes, the viewer's, or both (either known or unbeknown). In other words, the drawing is asking a question but is doing so without words... it's also a warning (more for me than the viewer, but it could go both ways).\n\nTimmy is someone in particular. He has a history spanning several years. Though he's never uttered a word, Timmy is not without a somewhat-defined personality, as well as his own concepts of right and wrong.\nShould Timmy fall into the burrow, his character would change---not only in future works, but past works as well. Change isn't always a bad thing, but some changes are clearly desirable over others (as this fox's intents are self-serving, any change she'd make wouldn't be for the better).\n\nOriginally, I ended 'Burrow' with a line saying Timmy could get away from the fox---Timmy is a ghost after all! ...But now I'm not so sure. The fox, it seems, has powers of her own (and it's unclear where they come from or what's in control of them).\nThat is, I don't think 'Burrow' is a concept I can write a story for or redraw to conform with the established Timmy canon---'Burrow' has a reality I don't believe I have any direct control over. It's kinda scary. 00\n\nClosest relatable example I can think of would be this... You believe yourself to be a decent person: forgiving, passive, helpful---generally nice. Then, upon someone cutting you off in traffic, you said aloud, \"Watch what you're doing, motherfucker!\"\n...Obviously something deep within would be wrong or unresolved to allow language like that to come out. As Jesus said,\n\"For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks\" -Matt 12:34\n\nI drew 'Burrow'---it's from my heart, hence it means something (the question Burrow asks is 'what?').\n\nI'm glad this drawing exists, despite my fear of it. Again, it shows what 'could be' (either at present or in a hypothetical future).",

At the same time, Timmy looks at her, gesturing in a similar fashion as Ribbon (the two are communicating).<br />Ball appears at the bottom---her eyes focused on Timmy&#039;s form.<br /><br />What is displayed, to me, is a blend of several things working in harmony:<br /><br />Equality; respect---there&#039;s no competing here for affections; no jealousy.<br />Reciprocation---tricky, but dots can be connected here.<br />Love---obvious, but it&#039;s shown in variations: giving (material); help/support (Ball); mutual fondness (Timmy-Ribbon); physical attraction (Ball).<br /><br />It&#039;s a peculiar, complex (yet well-balanced) relationship. That is what &#039;sex&#039; is to me---it&#039;s not so much an act as it is a relationship shared/experienced with another (Ribbon and Ball are effectively one).<br /><br />...And then there&#039;s this pice: &#039;Burrow&#039;. &#039;Burrow&#039; is, in many ways, the opposite of &#039;Pika Pats&#039;, yet it too is &#039;sex&#039;.<br /><br />I was unsure exactly who/what the fox represented. Could she be an incarnation of my knowledge of (but not desire for) sex/adult ideas, and/or of my interest in humoring my fetishes (which, again, are &#039;adult&#039; in spirit if not in nature)?<br /><br />May she also be a projection of my &#039;learned&#039; ideas, such as from studying site rules/State laws on artistic nudity? To put it simply, in general, I had the notion burned in my head that any who draw nude cubs/kids is criminalized by society---context/intentions notwithstanding (honestly, I was afraid of uploading my Timmy arts throughout their first year or so).<br /><br />Either way, this fox is no good. She is, curiously, an adult fox---objectively/definably &#039;adult&#039; characters are rare in Timmy&#039;s universe (save for moms, since moms go with cubs).<br /><br />The fox sees Timmy as something naive/innocent she can take into her burrow---that much is clear.<br /><br />I drew this during a period of emotional vulnerability: my S/O had died not long before I made this: I was a displaced wreck!<br />I turned to God and began questioning many things, among those was my artwork, which I&#039;d hitherto reasoned as having artistic merit, but was beginning to question.<br /><br />In light of that, &#039;Burrow&#039; gains significance. It shows the fear of what my art could become, or (subconsciously) is already---something more in line with, or compatible with the mainstream definition of &#039;sex&#039;. <br />While Timmy has almost always been PG in nature, the facts that (in mainstream thought) nudity and sex are inseparable (even if neither necessitates the other), and that imagination revels in what-ifs, invites exploitation---it makes Timmy &#039;vulnerable&#039; or susceptible to corruption.<br /><br />The mature fox is shown running away with Timmy (a metaphor in itself): she has removed him from his meadow of comfort, towards the darkness of her burrow (the imagination).<br /><br />This is, I think, a depiction of something that &#039;could be&#039;, either in present or future tense---whether in my eyes, the viewer&#039;s, or both (either known or unbeknown). In other words, the drawing is asking a question but is doing so without words... it&#039;s also a warning (more for me than the viewer, but it could go both ways).<br /><br />Timmy is someone in particular. He has a history spanning several years. Though he&#039;s never uttered a word, Timmy is not without a somewhat-defined personality, as well as his own concepts of right and wrong.<br />Should Timmy fall into the burrow, his character would change---not only in future works, but past works as well. Change isn&#039;t always a bad thing, but some changes are clearly desirable over others (as this fox&#039;s intents are self-serving, any change she&#039;d make wouldn&#039;t be for the better).<br /><br />Originally, I ended &#039;Burrow&#039; with a line saying Timmy could get away from the fox---Timmy is a ghost after all! ...But now I&#039;m not so sure. The fox, it seems, has powers of her own (and it&#039;s unclear where they come from or what&#039;s in control of them).<br />That is, I don&#039;t think &#039;Burrow&#039; is a concept I can write a story for or redraw to conform with the established Timmy canon---&#039;Burrow&#039; has a reality I don&#039;t believe I have any direct control over. It&#039;s kinda scary. 00<br /><br />Closest relatable example I can think of would be this... You believe yourself to be a decent person: forgiving, passive, helpful---generally nice. Then, upon someone cutting you off in traffic, you said aloud, &quot;Watch what you&#039;re doing, motherfucker!&quot;<br />...Obviously something deep within would be wrong or unresolved to allow language like that to come out. As Jesus said,<br />&quot;For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks&quot; -Matt 12:34<br /><br />I drew &#039;Burrow&#039;---it&#039;s from my heart, hence it means something (the question Burrow asks is &#039;what?&#039;).<br /><br />I&#039;m glad this drawing exists, despite my fear of it. Again, it shows what &#039;could be&#039; (either at present or in a hypothetical future).</span>",
