I'm not someone who goes to theaters regularly (the last movie I saw in a theater was Jurassic World 3 when it was a new release) or someone who even watches new movies (for the most part) ...but I mean it when I say if Disney doesn't make any significant changes from what they've shown us (as of writing) to the new 'Snow White', I'll make an effort to see it.
I feel 2024's 'Snow White' could be the kind of spectacle that must be seen to be believed (not that I want to believe it). :P

I'd seen in my head an image of Halle Bailey standing before a wall of 'Little Mermaid' merch of various sorts, all of which boasted an image of the 'white' Ariel that Disney will NEVER change, for reasons of marketing and brand familiarity.

...which is ONE reason I didn't want to see the Halle Bailey version---I'm fine with a black mermaid, but I don't want Disney to do it because (again) Disney won't stand behind it (Disney's not about to change the appearance of their line up of 'Princesses' in any meaningful, permanent way) and (I believe) made their casting decisions for all the wrong reasons.
