"description": "Before we begin, this'll probably be the last comic I color digitally. I have a few reasons, these being they:\n\n1. It's ingenuine; doesn't show the art as it appears IRL\n2. It hurts my eyes and (mouse) hand to use the computer to color\n3. It makes the already terrible line art look even worse. :P\n\nThat said, I promised to make a digitally-colored Timmy comic. When will I get to it? God only knows, but it'll happen eventually. In the meanwhile, there is this: https://sta.sh/01kjnt54d6dd\n\nI need to move that clover to the left a bit (the misaligned stem annoys me). :P\n\nAnyway...\n\nSeems Gene and Tasli are on the roof of their apartment building, looking at clouds. I wonder what formations they'll see in the sky...\n\nGENE (pointing at cloud): \"Look out, Tasli! It's Gomphotherium!\"\n\nTASLI (threatening; holding a brick): \"Oh yeah? Well, I'm not afraid of you, Gomphotherium! ...and I've got something for ya!\"\n\n[Tasli hurls the brick into the stratosphere]\n\nTASLI: \"Comin' at ya!\"\n\n[...but what goes up must come down]\n\nCARALARM: \"WEE-WOO; WEE-WOO; WEE-WOO; WEE-WOO...\"\n\nGENE (panicking): \"A car alarm?! Tasli, you hit someone's car!\"\n\nTASLI (running away): \"Run!\"\n\n[the cubs run inside and hide under Gene's bed]\n\nTASLI: \"Gene... if anyone accuses, we'll say it was Gomphotherium!\"\n\nGENE: \"Totally!\"\n\nGomphotheirum, for the curious: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gomphotherium\n\nFor the lazy who don't read, gomphotherium is an extinct elephant. :p\n\nSo, yeah, my autism wrote this comic ...I do, on rare occasion, receive requests for more autism (even if said requests aren't phrased that way), so here ya go (you're welcome). ^^\n\nAlso, no, I've not forgotten the Water Pets (my interest in which one could also attribute to autism), but I need to put space between Water Pet stories ...but be assured that I do have some stories in mind and will draw them if God suffers me to live long enough to get to them. ^^\n\nAnyway, why is gomphotherium on my mind?\n\nWell, it so happens that whilst shopping for Water Pets, I found a book I recalled having from childhood: Prehistoric Animals by Peter Zallinger.\n\nThe book: https://chasmosaurs.com/2019/09/23/vintage-dinosaur-art-prehistoric-animals-by-peter-zallinger/\n\nThe blog doesn't show every page of the book, but there IS a gomphothrium illustration in (I'd show it myself but my DA stash is beginning to fill up).\nAnyway, I remember saying 'Gomphotherium' a lot for no reason when I was 9 or so (which would be when I first had the book).\nI dunno why I focused on gomphotherium (when, honestly, *platybelodon is more visually interesting), but I did. ^^\n\n*platybelodon (pop-up warning): https://www.npr.org/sections/krulwich/2011/05/20/136436601/a-mouth-i-cant-stop-thinking-about\n\nAnd while we're on the subject of prehistoric animals, let's give answer to this note,\n\nBSDX: \"MartenFerrets fursona suit is the irish elk?\"\n\nFor those who don't know, I'll sometimes reply thus when a watcher uses 'I see' in a comment/note,\n\n\"Of course (you see) with your great eyes, but even eyes such as yours have not beheld the sight of the Irish elk, for the last of them died many thousands of years ago\"\n\nApparently, I've said this enough to BSDX to inspire his question ...though I have no satisfying answer to it. ^^\n\nOur Zallinger book is what introduced me to the Irish elk, though I cannot tell you why I (sometimes) respond to 'I see' like I do.\n\nAnd now that I've brought this to light and have made a big deal about it, I'll be somewhat less likely to reference the elk in the future ...but we shall see (with our great eyes, but one sight we shall never see is that of the gomphotherium, for the last of them died many thousands of years ago). ^^\n\n...Now I want a pencil named 'Gomphotherium'. If I could, I'd journey to the 1920s to make it happen (because I'd want a long-ferruled version), but, alas, I can move only forward though time, closer to the grave each day (but I digress). ^^\n\nTECHNICALLY, we could still see both gomphotherium and the Irish elk running around in all their glory, IRL. For that matter, we could still see dinosaurs in action, too---real ones! :D\nThe only thing that hampers this is we'd need to be somewhere around 70,000,000 light years away, with a telescope 4x bigger than our solar system to see it (light reflected from a dinosaur-filled Earth all those years ago is still out in space somewhere).\nSuch an enormous telescope would, of course, collapse into itself and create a black hole, but what's perfect? ^^\n\nPerhaps a telescope isn't the answer. My suggestion would be to find a way to network the universe's photons so photons far away could communicate with those close by. A device could be made to translate these photons into images, and viola! Dinosaur TV!\nAll we need is someone good at math, because math is usually the answer. I commission @Zivrshka to do the necessary arithmetic. Afterwords, JendaLinda could build/program the machine (I'm sure he has a spare circuit board/Blackberry lying around), and @mobkiller can operate it for us via LiveStream (because he has a game controller).\n\nI'd of course pay for this with One-Cent ACO. It takes a hundred such ACO to make a dollar, so I'll be drawing a while (I should be finished sometime before the heat death of the universe). ^^\n\nPencil...\n\nThe featured pencil is the 'Sports Car' from Venus Pen and Pencil Co.\n\nI was saving this pencil to feature with an ACO of Mr. Toad, but the 'Mammoth' pencil from Eagle that I wanted to feature with this comic has vanished (as the elephant is vanishing), so 'Sports Car' will have to do.\n\nThe 'Sports Car' pencil still fits here, albeit it's unlikely Tasli damaged an expensive car of any sort (our heroes don't live in a rich neighborhood).\n\nI dunno much about this pencil. It came in a box filled with vintage pencils (mostly) made in England, so this one was likely made there, too (Venus had an English factory in the 1960s).",

For that matter, we could still see dinosaurs in action, too---real ones! :D<br />The only thing that hampers this is we&#039;d need to be somewhere around 70,000,000 light years away, with a telescope 4x bigger than our solar system to see it (light reflected from a dinosaur-filled Earth all those years ago is still out in space somewhere).<br />Such an enormous telescope would, of course, collapse into itself and create a black hole, but what&#039;s perfect? ^^<br /><br />Perhaps a telescope isn&#039;t the answer. My suggestion would be to find a way to network the universe&#039;s photons so photons far away could communicate with those close by. A device could be made to translate these photons into images, and viola! Dinosaur TV!<br />All we need is someone good at math, because math is usually the answer. I commission \r\n\t\t\t\t\t<table style='display: inline-block; vertical-align:bottom;'>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<tr>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<td style='vertical-align: middle; border: none;'>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div style='width: 50px; height: 50px; position: relative; margin: 0px auto;'>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a style='position: relative; border: 0px;' href='https://inkbunny.net/Zivrshka'><img class='shadowedimage' style='border: 0px;' src='https://nl1.ib.metapix.net/usericons/small/249/249324_Zivrshka_binx_pfp.png' width='50' height='50' alt='Zivrshka' title='Zivrshka' /></a>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t</div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t</td>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<td style='vertical-align: bottom; font-size: 10pt;'>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span style='position: relative; top: 2px;'><a href='https://inkbunny.net/Zivrshka' class='widget_userNameSmall'>Zivrshka</a></span>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t</td>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t</tr>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t</table> to do the necessary arithmetic. Afterwords, JendaLinda could build/program the machine (I&#039;m sure he has a spare circuit board/Blackberry lying around), and \r\n\t\t\t\t\t<table style='display: inline-block; vertical-align:bottom;'>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<tr>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<td style='vertical-align: middle; border: none;'>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div style='width: 50px; height: 50px; position: relative; margin: 0px auto;'>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a style='position: relative; border: 0px;' href='https://inkbunny.net/mobkiller'><img class='shadowedimage' style='border: 0px;' src='https://nl1.ib.metapix.net/usericons/small/195/195346_mobkiller_knife2-2.png' width='50' height='50' alt='mobkiller' title='mobkiller' /></a>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t</div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t</td>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<td style='vertical-align: bottom; font-size: 10pt;'>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span style='position: relative; top: 2px;'><a href='https://inkbunny.net/mobkiller' class='widget_userNameSmall'>mobkiller</a></span>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t</td>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t</tr>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t</table> can operate it for us via LiveStream (because he has a game controller).<br /><br />I&#039;d of course pay for this with One-Cent ACO. It takes a hundred such ACO to make a dollar, so I&#039;ll be drawing a while (I should be finished sometime before the heat death of the universe). ^^<br /><br />Pencil...<br /><br />The featured pencil is the &#039;Sports Car&#039; from Venus Pen and Pencil Co.<br /><br />I was saving this pencil to feature with an ACO of Mr. Toad, but the &#039;Mammoth&#039; pencil from Eagle that I wanted to feature with this comic has vanished (as the elephant is vanishing), so &#039;Sports Car&#039; will have to do.<br /><br />The &#039;Sports Car&#039; pencil still fits here, albeit it&#039;s unlikely Tasli damaged an expensive car of any sort (our heroes don&#039;t live in a rich neighborhood).<br /><br />I dunno much about this pencil. It came in a box filled with vintage pencils (mostly) made in England, so this one was likely made there, too (Venus had an English factory in the 1960s).</span>",
