Well, EngageArt's assignment was Ephesians 6:10-20, AKA 'The Full Armor of God' verses ...which, IMHO, is among the most over-used in the Bible. ^^
Rather than draw some teenager in Roman armor (as most do), I decided to draw a fox---a gray one because one of my other watchers says there aren't enough foxes in this color. ^^
Anyway, Foxy isn't wearing any armor (or anything else in point of fact), but he is nevertheless protected from the temptations of the world via his faith ...which, in part, is what the scripture here is about.
An excerpt from the scripture has formed a kind of shield around our friend,
"Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, after you have done everything to stand"
I had to condense it a bit to fit it in the circle, but I don't feel anything was lost. :3
