"description": "This really should have been a quickie, but I'm in an ACO mood (so what'cha gonna do?).\n\nAnyway, here's a little anime bunny with a can of Dr. Pepper ...because such is the type of thing furries draw.\n...and, no, this bunny isn't Pepper (despite the fact the cartoon version of Pepper was inspired by anime).\n\nI drew this bunny with my 3H Zephyr, and delineated it with this vintage advertising pencil.\n\nThis pencil ...is old. Ancient, in fact. Judging by the tag line, \"Good for Life\", this Dr. Pepper pencil dates to the 1940's.\nEven so, this pencil also bears the line of, \"At 10, 2 & 4\", which Dr. Pepper used in the 1920's-1930's ...I have to date this pencil by the \"Good for Life\" as we move in only one direction through time.\n\nAccording to quora, the \"At 10, 2 & 4\" refers to the times of the day one should indulge in a Dr. Pepper,\n\n\"Dr Pepper used to advertise that you should drink its beverage at 10 (a.m.), 2 (p.m.), and 4 (p.m.).\n\nI used to live within sight of the old Dr Pepper headquarters in Dallas, and it had a clock tower with a clock that had only the numerals 10, 2, and 4 marked on it. I guess it was meant to show when it was time to drink a Dr Pepper.\nThat was a very cool, Art Deco building, but it was torn down some years ago.\nMy grandfather, who lived to be 85, drank Dr Pepper every day and claimed it was good for his health. My father also drinks Dr Pepper every day, and he’s now 91.
