Commonsense it is to accept advice or criticism one agrees with. It's a very subjective matter, but I would define it as drawing to one's one's satisfaction. If one is satisfied with one's art, then one draws 'well' in their eyes ...everyone else is either someone whose talent we wish we had (no artist draws as well as they would like) or is merely a critic (who the artist owes nothing to, in most cases).\n\nFor myself, I can say I'm satisfied with my 'quickie' art, I'm not blind---I see the problems, but to linger on the would be to fail to see the forest for the trees.\nFor those unfamiliar with that expression, it effectively means such a one cannot appreciate the characters, story or scenario because they're focused on (say) one arm being longer than the other. It's discouraging and stupid; I've learned to think myself away from that. :3\n\nAdditionally (and this is the big one)---no one (really) cares! :3\n\nTell, me, please, what becomes of most art. As a person who'd spent a decade working in estate liquidation, I'll tell you: it ends up in the trash.
