  "description": "So, it's been a few weeks since I uploaded to Pixiv. Have I learned anything from the experience?\n\n...Nope! XD\n\nWell, perhaps I've not gained any new knowledge about myself/my art, but I have confirmed a few things.\n\nFor one, my characters are who they are/who I've claimed them to be, esp. where it pertains to Ribbon, Ball and Timmy.\nDrawing 'Timmy frontals' didn't reveal he or my pikas as secretly 'horny' characters or any such---the new freedom offered by Pixiv didn't see my pikas do anything they wouldn't do ordinarily, neither did Timmy/his situations shift gears in any way (ie, every one of my Pixiv subs could be redrawn in the usual, censored way without losing anything meaningful).\n\nIn short, though I had greater freedom, there was nothing to take advantage of.\nFrom my perspective, Timmy has always been 'naked'. Is he more so now? ...Debatable, but I'd lean towards 'no'.\n\nSo far as my watchers were concerned, the feedback I received had been generally positive (this wasn't unexpected).\nI can say I'd received confirmation from some watchers that I'm not alone in saying 'I have mixed feelings about nude art/cuddly fur scenarios'. I appreciate the honesty. :3\n\nI don't worship the status quo (I draw nude 8-year-olds, nuff said!), neither am I convinced absolutely that God is against my art (I've seen some evidence to the contrary), but in saying these things, it's difficult to find (yet imperative that we do find) a comfortable balance with artistic expression and religion/culture.\nWestern culture demands we keep our clothes on, yet is obsessed with taking them off (for entertainment, etc---America is both very Puritan and very oversexed ...and I'm not unconvinced one doesn't beget the other).\n\nThere is a temptation to say if we can understand and explain away our feelings, we're free to deny them. We are not. :3\n\nSociety isn't wrong in keeping us dressed (albeit there's room for improvement), and neither is it good to believe our bodies and sexual feelings are inherently sinful (though our actions can certainly lead to sin).\nThere's a balance that must be found, esp. if we're to understand ourselves as sexual beings (ie, don't suppress every feeling that comes along---allow yourself to meditate on it, to understand what it is and from where it comes ...if it leads to a bad place, so be it---at least it's understood).\nI've used art to this ends, and I'd say it's worked out fine (and has managed to entertain some fellow furs in the process). :3\n\n...So, what's next for Timmy and company? Likely the same ol, same ol---the pikas will continue to provide Timmy with cuddles; the skunk has many pounces left, and Timmy has many poofs ...the wolves are mean as ever and the foxes remain (well) foxes.
