  "description": "(repost from FA)\n\nI've fallen off quite a bit as of late. Updates don't come as regularly as I'd like I guess. Work's a monotonous chore and life's strains only seem to multiply. Birthdays tend to elicit a groan from me as they feel like reminders, being a year older and still nowhere near where you want to be in life. But, I digress. With my getting older, thoughts turned to how Ian perhaps would reflect that and so I went to work. I had hoped to finish this before my birthday but life gets in the way too much. \n\nIan, as I've depicted here is at a rough estimate, in his mid 40's. He's done away with the ponytail and one of his bangs from his youth, deciding to let it grow down and flow back.. save for a shorter, thinner bang slicked to the side. He's grown a bit scruffier perhaps as soulfoxes fur tends to do with age. He'd be sporting some bits of silver, but that's tricky to show off when your fur color tends to lean white in the first place. As mentioned before, soulfoxes share some relation to kitsune, only without the multiple tails and physical ability to shapeshift. They do however share a small trait as how kitsune are granted a new tail after a period of time as a sign of a long life, soulfoxes on the other hand gain a new foxfire wisp for every decade of life. Ian here now sports a decent four, letting them flare harmlessly around him. Before, he'd conceal them by pure will, so as not to startle the guests.\n\nBy this point in the Tail's history, Ian's grown much more confident in his role at the tavern, far less shy with his interactions.. and especially his more supernatural abilities, sometimes making use of them right out in the open. Many would assume the fox has taken up magic tricks in order to serve up drinks, but not many tend to question his ability to do so when they've already had one pint too many.\n\nIan Soulfox © himself",
