Quilava was still snoozing on his chest as he sat up, the fire-type rolling limply down his chest until she slowly slid off his belly onto the tent floor. Patting her on the head, Jake immediately noticed two things: \n\nOne: Grovyle wasn't in the tent with him and Quilava. \n\nAnd two: He was still stark naked, and covered in dried juices from last night. Rubbing the sleep from his eyes, Jake hurriedly felt around for his boxers, which he quickly slipped on as soon as he found it.\n\n Quietly crawling over to the tent flap, Jake unzipped the bottom just enough for him to peek out and see what had made the noise. Judging by the shining metal bucket practically leaning against the tent, Jake took a guess as to where Grovyle had disappeared to.\n\nZipping open the tent open, Jake confirmed his guess when he saw the green pokemon sat cross-legged beside the flap, having clearly recently cleaned himself while he and Quilava were still snoozing.\n\nGrovyle was visibly blushing, his gaze raised high as if to prove he wasn't looking at anything in particular. Movement caught Jake's eye, and he turned to see a very pleased looking Grotle walking over to Dawn's tent with a carefree gait, her tail swinging from side to side happily.\n\nJake smirked, piecing together the obvious as he grabbed the bucket by its handle. Grovyle said nothing as Jake disappeared back into the tent and zipped it up, the pokemon's gaze drifting down to the massive swaying rump that Grotle was clearly putting on display. His blush grew darker as he forced his attention elsewhere, shutting his eyes as he listed to Jake wake and try to clean Quilava at the same time.\n\nAddorning two new scratch marks, Jake finally set the towel he had procured from his bottomless backpack, at least that's what Quilava considered it to be, and began to dress.\n\nWhile Jake was busy getting decent, Dawn slowly opened the flap to her tent, peeking out to see Grotle beaming at her. She ducked her head down to see Grovyle sitting in front of Jake's tent, his eyes still closed.\n\nPiplup was in her arms as she snuck out from her tent and into the forest to clean up, her backpack barely scraping the ground in her other hand as she tiptoed away. Even though he was still groggy, Piplup managed to get a stream of water from his mouth to shoot out over Dawn's naked form, washing away the evidence of their sex.\n\nOnce she was clean, Dawn dried herself down and put on her usual outfit, hoping Jake wouldn't notice her absence. Piplup waddling tiredly beside her, Dawn returned to see that Jake had started the campfire and was cooking something inside a metal pan\n\n``Morning Dawn!'' He shouted with a wave as she appeared from around her tent, a warm smile across his face as he grabbed a spatula from beside the fire.\n\n``M-Morning.'' she replied, hoping he wouldn't ask where she'd gone. Thankfully he didn't, his focus on the slab of preserved meat he'd pulled from his pack, along all the other ingredients he kept tightly packed in its various pouches.\n\nGrovyle and Quilava were off collecting berries and whatever else they could find to add some variety to the meal, per his request. Knowing Grovyle, he'd bring an entire bush's worth on his own. Jake's exaggeration was more on the nose than he was expecting as the grass-type returned, hefting what looked like a bag made of vines and leaves, and it was big.\n\nThe top was brimming with brightly colored berries, a couple spilling out behind Grovyle as he hefted the bag with both his hands. The trail of berries he left was quickly swallowed up by Quilava, who trailed behind him gobbling up each colorful fruit that fell behind.\n\n``Welcome back guys. You, uh, didn't need to bring that much back.'' Jake said as Grovyle dropped the bag beside the fire with a tired sigh.\n\n``Grovyle.'' He replied, pointing a clawed finger towards Grotle, who was eying the rainbow of berries in the leaf bag hungrily. Jake shrugged and pulled the pan off the fire, the meat still sizzling as he began to cut the slab into even pieces with the spatula.\n\nDawn, wanting to contribute in some way to breakfast, fished inside her tent and pulled out an assortment of white plates from... somewhere inside.\n\nOnce all the food was divvied up and all of the two trainer's teams were out and enjoying their meal, Jake understood pretty quickly why Grovyle had collected so many berries. After giving everyone several of their own, Grovyle picked up the leaf bag, which was still over half-way full, and dragged it over to Grotle. \n\nGiving a thanks to him, Grotle dipped her head into the bag and took a colossal bite out of the stockpile of berries inside, her beak coming back up with a myriad of colored berry juices dripping onto the ground as she chewed on the tiny fruits.\n\nDawn piped up as she bit into the savory meat, a surprised look on her face:\n\n``Wow, this is really good! Your a hell of a cook, Jake!'' Dawn exclaimed, a satisfied smile crossing her face as she chewed. Jake blushed lightly, sharing a joyful look on his face as he ate.\n\n``You kinda remind me of a friend of mine, he's an amazing chef and... er...'' Dawn said, stopping herself mid sentence. Jake cocked a brow as she grew silent.\n\n``Thanks, I learned a lot from my mom. Can I ask who your friend is, or...?'' Jake asked with curiosity. Dawn fidgeted as he asked the question, making Jake concerned as to the answer he sought.\n\n``W-Well, I can't really remember... It's been a long time since we talked...'' Dawn replied, dodging the subject as much as possible. Jake didn't ask anything further, given how much she clearly disliked about the subject.\n\nQuilava and Jake were the first done with their food, so they began the process of packing up their tent and supplies. Piplup sprayed down the plates and the pan with a jet of water from his mouth, and Dawn along with Grovyle and Clefairy took down her tent.\n\nA little bit of packing and returning most of their pokemon to their pokeballs later, the two trainers were ready to break camp and continue their hike across the valley. Entirely unknown to them, nestled over a ridge that loomed over the road, were two people clad in dark grey uniforms.\n\nJerome and Emily were well rested this time around, and they had the a plan set in motion. Peeking over the edge with their binoculars, the two Team Plasma grunts watched Jake and Dawn round the bend into view.\n\nThe ground behind them burst open as a steel ant broke free from the stone, its razor-sharp pincers crushing a head-sized boulder held between them. Emily and Jerome gave a sinister snicker as they crawled back from the edge. \n\nSeveral holes like the one Durant had just made lined the edges of the overhanging ridge, where Heatmor and Gigalith practically fumed with anticipation. They had been aching for some action ever since the kid had wormed through their fingers back in Oreburgh.\n\nEverything was going according to plan. Nobody had seen the two climb up the steep cliff face in the night, leaving them plenty of time to devise a way to trap Jake and nab the Pichu he moronically held.\n\nA shame too, that he'd interfered with their original plans in Jubilife when they'd killed the PokeMart employee only to find the pokeball in the store was empty. Had he simply kept to himself, maybe Jake wouldn't have to die.\n\nNot that either of the grunts minded, their hands were plenty dirty already. Stepping past the line of holes in the stone, Jerome and Emily tossed their uniforms aside to reveal black harnesses that were strapped to their chests, their hands grabbing the coil of climbing rope wound on their backs and looping them on the set of spikes stabbed into the stone. They gave the lines a tug, and when the spikes didn't budge no matter how hard they pulled, they waited.\n\nJake, Dawn, Piplup, Grovyle, Quilava, and Pichu. None of them suspected a thing as they walked under the ridge far above them, smiling like idiots as they chatted to one another, thinking nothing of the impending danger above them.\n\nUntil a earth-shattering explosion shook the very earth above and beneath them. Heatmor and gigalith poured their attacks into the holes in the cliff, sending scorching flames and speeding boulders deep into the heart of the tunnels Durant had burrowed. Their attacks collided in the center, detonating like bombs as the stone quivered and broke. \n\nJerome and Emily readied themselves as the stone began to yawn away from them, an unholy crunching of stone splitting from stone resounding throughout the valley as another explosion tore the building-sized boulder into an avalanche of stone.\n\nJake looked up as the stone detonated for the second time, his vision filled with the sight of crumbling stone that began to tumble and fall. Falling towards them. Dawn gave a scream as they all began running in unison, sprinting maddly to avoid the rocky avalanche barreling towards them.\n\nPichu, being the shortest of the bunch, failed to keep up with the pack, tripping as her tiny feet caught on a stone in the road. Jake skidded to a halt and doubled back as fast as he could, the first boulder crashing behind the electric-type as she cowered in fear. Quilava turned back as well to protect her trainer, but Grovyle quickly snatcher her from the ground and dove as another car-sized rock struck the ground where they once stood.\n\nAnother boulder hurtled towards the two as they scrambled to their feet, when a streak of water, faster than they could even see, obliterated the rock into a hail of pebbles. Piplup stood his ground, spitting lighting-fast bullets of water and splitting stones with each shot he took, buying the two enough time to get out from under the storm of stones.\n\nJake grabbed Pichu and pushed her close to his chest, fist-sized boulders pelting his back as he covered her as best he could. A boulder crashed crashed against the stone cliff beside him, shattering the rock wall like glass as it bounced over the two. The wall crumbled, revealing a small alcove inside the cliff, and the only place Jake could go.\n\nDiving for what was the only possible safe space in the trap, Jake narrowly avoided becoming a pancake as two more boulders crushed the area where had been into dust. He tumbled forward, keeping Pichu tight against him as the alcove became more of a tunnel, swallowing him into the darkness as the rest of the cliff crumbled over the entrance.\n\nThe trap was sprung, and Jerome and Emily were quick to finish the job, Jumping from the broken cliff edge, the two grunts grabbed onto their life lines hard, planting their feet onto the sharp rock face and began to descend. Emily shouted to Jerome, pointing a gloved finger to Dawn and the pokemon just beyond the destroyed road.\n\nIn unison the two plucked four black capsules from their belts and chucked them towards the rubble and the team. The capsules popped mid-air, releasing thick clouds of black smoke that blanketed the site in a impassable fog. \n\nAs the two descended, Grovyle shouted something angrily to Quilava, jabbing a clawed finger to the obvious culprits descending towards the road. Quilava's eyes followed his finger until they locked in place on the two dark-clothed goons, the fires on her back growing to infernos as she began to seethe with anger.\n\nGrovyle pulled his arm back, then swung forward, a wave of swirling leaves billowing past them towards Jerome and Emily, the edges of his body glowing an eery white. Jerome and Emily had enough time to yell as their lines were cut, dropping them the rest of the way into the smoke.\n\nHer back a raging inferno, Quilava darted into the smoke along with Grovyle, her body beginning to glow the same ghostly white light as him. Jerome and Emily hard, having dropped at least two stories worth when Jake's pokemon had cut them down, literally.\n\nBut they had no time to recover as a sinister red glow radiated through the smoke, the air becoming crisp and arid. The two quickly released their pokemon as a wave of fiery leaves sliced through the air towards them, signalling the beginning of the blind battle...\n\n...\n\n...\n\nStill tumbling, Jake bounced down the rocky tunnel, the electric-type in his hands crying loudly as they fell further into the earth. Finally the tunnel opened up, dropping the beaten trainer hard against the solid floor of a cave, knocking both the breath from him, and the pokemon in his arms.\n\nJake heaved with pain, gasping for breath. Rolling over, Jake painfully felt for Pichu, his mind set on making sure she was okay, rather than his own well being. Jake's bag, which had been torn from him in the fall, landed shortly after him, bouncing once, then twice as it slid to a halt beside him.\n\nStill aching with pain, Jake found he was in complete darkness, and weakly reached for his PokeDex, flipping it open as he tried to catch his breath. Glancing at the screen, he navigated the menu despite the broken screen he was looking at, and turned on the flashlight.\n\nShining the light around the dark cave, Jake found Pichu huddled not far away, and quickly stumbled to his feet and scooped her in his arms. She was unconscious, with a small cut on her forehead seeping blood onto her face, staining the fur red. Jake grabbed his back and pulled a potion out from one of its compartments, his arms still aching as he sprayed the wound.\n\nThe wound slowly sealed, but the electric-type remained down and out. Jake gave her a hug before returning her to her ball, hoping the cut was the only wound she'd acquired in the fall. Still reeling from the pain, Jake grabbed his pack by one of the straps and pulled, expecting the entire pack to still be in one piece.\n\nInstead, the strap snapped at the bottom, nearly making Jake punch himself in the face as he pulled the broken cloth up. This time he tested the other strap before scooping up the bag and lopped it over his shoulder, noting the cuts and scrapes it had acquired in the fall.\n\nFlashing his light around him, Jake didn't see anything he might have lost in the fall, and looked up to where he'd come in from. Sure enough, the tunnel he'd fell from was far above him, and very out of reach. Sighing angrily, Jake turned and looked around the cave.\n\nStalagmites and stalactites criss crossed on the ceiling and ground along the walls of the room, forming teeth-like faces that put Jake on edge, until he saw that the cave continued further. Considering his lack of options, Jake stumbled his way further into the darkness, the eerie silence making it all the creepier.\n\nThat silence was broken as Jake began to hear water rushing from somewhere, his light beginning to shine of the dark, uneven stone until he finally found its source: A waterfall high above that sprayed water into the depths of a chasm, one he didn't dare to step near, given the amount of water that coated its edge.\n\nJake pressed a fist to his head as he took a moment's rest, his mind shifting to the state of the rest of his team. Had they made it out from under the avalanche? Or were they crushed underneath all the rubble? Jake's breathing quivered as he almost brought himself to tears, unable to stop worrying about his pokemon.\n\nSuddenly, a chunk of stone fell from the ceiling across the room, creating a boom that made Jake jump with a shrill screech of fear. His eyes darted to where the stone had fallen, his flashlight quickly catching up with his gaze as he tried to see what had caused the sudden noise.\n\nInstead, he noticed that, where the stone had once been rough and uneven, it was oddly smooth and flat, almost like...\n\nKeeping well away from the chasm, Jake walked up to the smooth floor and found the cracked rock that'd split itself on the ground. But only half of it was there, particularly the side that fell away from the wall...\n\nPressing his hand against the rocky wall, Jake had his suspicions confirmed as his hand went through the stone. Stepping through the false wall, Jake was met with an all-too familiar sight: An entrance to the ruins he'd found at Oreburgh.\n\nAlthough there was no other way to go other than forward, Jake was hesitant to walk down the narrow tunnel of ancient stone, fearing that, at any moment, it could collapse around him. Even still, he carefully tiptoed down the passage, his flashlight darting from side to side for anything that could jump out at him.\n\nThe tunnel gave away to a room, one just as massive as the one he'd found a day ago, only it wasn't empty in the least. Rows upon rows of stone-carved pokemon stood to attention, no two the same, and no two looking in a different direction. They all faced forward, their gaze permanently forward. Monolithic pillars, cracked and worn from centuries of time, held the ceiling up with their peerless strength.\n\nAn aisle stretched on from where the tunnel opened up, unobstructed as it lead towards a massive, and surprisingly pristine pedestal, stood in the center of the room. Atop the pedestal was a Charizard, but it was nothing like one Jake had ever seen before.\n\nIt stood on four trunk-thick legs, it's neck long and just as thick as its legs, with an angular, almost bone-like head cresting the top of its neck smoothly. Rows of pointy teeth seemed to smile at Jake, it's eyes hollow and empty, more literally than figuratively. Keeping his ears out for any noise at all, Jake stepped towards the pedestal, his eyes locked with the menacing look of the massive pokemon that dominated the entire room.\n\nIt wasn't until he stepped past the closest row of pokemon did he notice how immense the room was. Thousands more statues encircled the center shrine, which it was beginning to look like more and more as Jake stepped closer.\n\nThe air felt electric, buzzing with energy as Jake got closer and closer. Suddenly, the statue's eyes lit up with icy blue flames, the notches in the pedestal glowing with the same light a moment after. Jake was ready to high-tail it back when a voice echoed throughout the room.\n\n``You need not leave little one. I do not come bearing harm towards you, only an offer.'' It said, deep and gravely. Jake froze, his eyes meeting with the glowing eye sockets. An offer?\n\n``Indeed, I can offer you a way out of these dark depths, I ask only for your assistance in exchange.'' the voice continued, echoing throughout the chamber in an almost godlike way.\n\n``W-what's the catch? Are you some kind of demon who wants to destroy the world or something?'' Jake asked, suppressing his inner fear as best as possible. The last thing he was expecting as a reply was a deep chuckle, the cyan glow dimming for a moment with each laugh the voice made.\n\n``There is none. I am no `demon', nor do I want to destroy the world, I simply want your help when your quest has concluded. No strings attached, I can promise at least that.'' It continued, easing at least some of Jake's fears.\n\nThe voice had made an offer Jake simply couldn't refuse, he just hoped it wouldn't bite him in the ass when the time came. He was still confused, but at the very least he hoped the voice's offer was more truth than lie.\n\n``A-alright, I guess I accept.'' Jake said with a defeated sigh.\n\n``You will not regret it, Jake. I assure you.'' The voice said, fading to silence as it did. All at once, the room lit up with icy blue light, from the cracks in the behemoth pillars to the lines in the walkway and the pedestal.\n\nThat same light seemed to pool at Jake's feet, rising up his pants like tendrils as it wreathed him in a tingling warmth that seeped into his flesh. A floating sensation took hold of him as he was lifted off the ground, the light snaking up to his chest as he slowly rose higher and higher. The warm sensation seemed to focus around the center of his chest.\n\nAlong with the light coiling up to meet him, the cyan glow seemed to perfume the air around Jake with smoke, obscuring his vision as it covered him from head to toe. Then his arms and legs began to tingle, a feeling of them being gently pulled confusing him all the more. At least it didn't hurt.\n\nA blinding light filled his vision, the floating sensation disappearing along with the smoke as it dropped Jake down onto the ground. He landed in a crouch, surprised at how the fall barely felt like anything at all.\n\nThen he noticed that he seemed to be a good foot shorter than normal. He went to rub his eyes, but stopped short as he noticed his skin was... green? In fact, the hand before him sported only three clawed fingers, identical to Grovyle's in every way.\n\nAlthough he didn't look down, Jake felt his clothes were still snug against him, had the voice simply changed his arms so he could climb out? Just to be sure, Jake opened the camera app on his PokeDex and changed it to the front-facing camera. Instead of Jake's human face, he was greeted with the green beak and yellow eyes of a Grovyle on the display, perfectly mimicking his surprise as his eyes shot open with utter disbelief.\n\nHe was a Grovyle!? Jake panicked and dropped the PokeDex onto the ground, his eyes shooting down to confirm what he already knew. His shirt, along with his pants and shoes, had been changed entirely to fit his new body, from his long clawed toes to his thin forearms and chest.\n\nSensing his panicked state, the voice echoed through the room once more:\n\n``I assure you, everything is alright, Jake. You will soon master your newfound power. I shall assist you this one time, now, focus on the form of your original body, of the human you've always been.''\n\nA force drove the panic that was set into Jake's mind like a wave of water, leaving him to think rationally in a situation that was everything but that, rational. Instead he listened to the voice and pictured himself as he'd always known himself, his eyes closing as he thought as hard as he could.\n\nAnother flash of light dominated the room, and Jake opened his eyes to see he was completely back to normal. He opened and closed his hand just to be sure, then looked up to the statue with wonder.\n\n``I have given you the power to change who you are. But you cannot become any pokemon, no. you must form an unbreakable bond with those you desire to be, and for now, you can only stay as one of them for so long. Go, before your time runs out!'' It exclaimed the cyan lights slowly dwindling as the flames in the statue's eyes faded to nothing.\n\n``W-wait, what am I supposed to do though? When will you need me, and why?'' Jake shouted his questions at the statue, but only silence greeted his questions. Jake's mind was abuzz with the event that had just happened. The voice, the transformation, none of it made any sense.\n\nScooping up his PokeDex and flipping it open, Jake mulled over what he'd just experienced when the display seemed to dim a bit. He didn't have all the time in the world to be thinking and what he'd gotten himself into.\n\nGroaning with annoyance, Jake began to wonder just what he was capable of right then and there. An idea popped into his head, one involving the fire-type he'd been with ever since the start of his journey. Closing his eyes just like he'd been told, Jake focused on a mental image of Quilava, her flames providing the light he'd need to see in the growing darkness.\n\nSure enough, a brief flash of light encompassed Jake and he found himself a great deal shorter. Behind him, orange flames lashed out from the vents in his back with each breath, lighting the area around him perfectly. He looked back in fear that his backpack and clothing would catch fire, but whatever power he'd gained seemed to take care of that issue as well, given the sewn holes in his red hoodie that let the flames flow uninterrupted.\n\nTaking a wobbly step forward, Jake fell flat on his face as he tried to take another step. How in the world did Quilava even walk? Pushing himself back up, Jake stopped mid-way as he felt... natural on all fours.\n\nIt was strange, but Jake walked perfectly fine, at least as a pokemon, into the tunnel he'd arrived in. One step at a time, he'd make it to the surface, and then he'd figure everything out. He hoped so at least.\n\nFollowing the path he'd taken as a human, Jake walked back to the cave he'd fallen in from, aided by the far broader light of his flames. Glancing up, he sized up the hole that had dispensed him in here, and had a ``brilliant'' idea. Quilava was amazingly agile, jumping high and above what he originally expected from her. Perhaps he could do the same?\n\nBunching up his four legs, Jake reared up and lept towards the hole faster than he'd known possible. His aim was off, his snout bashing against the ceiling as he landed on all fours. After two more unsuccessful jumps, Jake finally caught the ledge of the tunnel and scrambled inside. \n\nHis snout hurt like hell, but he was up, and that was all he cared about. Now all he had to do was climb up. Doing just that, Jake learned just how far he'd fallen through each rocky lip he used to ascend, surprised he'd been able to walk after such an immense fall.\n\nLooking up, Jake's hope was reinvigorated as he saw white light at the end of the tunnel shining through a crack at the tunnels entrance. Climbing faster than ever before, Jake made record time as he reached the caved-in entrance. He pushed against the rocks with all his might, but had to stop when he nearly risked falling back down with exhaustion.\n\nAnother idea came to mind as Jake inched away from the boulders. He visualized a column of flames spewing from his mouth, blowing out the rocks to let him out, but the problem was, he had no clue how to enact such a plan.\n\nThe answer can from his gut. Literally. A warmth hotter than the normal temperature he'd felt since he became a Quilava pooled in his stomach, churning deep within him. Embers sparked from his throat as he opened his jaw as far as he could, trying to aim his mouth towards the center of the boulders.\n\nHe felt the fire rolling up his throat like a fiery burp, exploding from his maw in a wild spray as it leapt towards the cave-in. The fire made contact with the stones, holding for a moment until they blew away under the attacks pure power, trails of fire following them as they were catapulted out of the way.\n\nJake gave a delusional laugh, he actually just breathed fire! His glory was cut short as a wave of fatigue sunk into him, a flash of light signalling the end of his fun as a Quilava.\n\nGrovyle and Quilava weren't expecting a spray of flaming boulders to interrupt their battle, nearly hitting the latter as they sailed over to the other side of the road. Jerome and Emily were in full retreat, having lost three of their pokemon to the two's absurd strength. Even in the thick smoke, Grovyle and quilava had nailed their pokemon with hit after hit, knocking one after another out like they were worthless toys.\n\nThe smoke was fading, and neither of the pokemon gave chase as their eyes turned to look at what had interrupted the battle. A hand grabbed the edge of the small alcove, pulling its owner into view of the two pokemon as Jake struggled to pull himself over the rocky lip.\n\n``H-Hey guys... ``Jake said weakly his other hand giving a faint wave before he slumped against the ground, the world going dark...\n\n...\n\n...\n\n.....\n\nJake was slow to wake back up, a nauseating headache wracking his brain as he cracked his eyes open. He was in a bed, his head propped up and giving him a chance to survey the room. He certainly wasn't in a hospital, given the cream brown walls and wooden furniture. It looked more like a hotel room, but...\n\nJake realised Grovyle was sat beside him, rubbing his arm as he felt his forehead.\n\n``Jake, you feeling alright?'' Grovyle asked, looking at Jake with concern. If there was a record playing in Jake's head, it had grinded to a halt with the loudest scratch imaginable. His eyes shot open as he sat up.\n\n``When could you speak English?'' Jake shouted, giving Grovyle the most shocked look in history. Grovyle cocked his head at Jake and placed a hand on his chest to slowly push him back down onto the mattress.\n\n``Hmm, might be delusional. It's been a while since he's eaten.'' Grovyle mumbled to himself, trying to get his trainer to lay back down.\n\n``I'm not delusional, Grovyle!'' Jake shouted. Grovyle froze as Jake replied to his comment, eyes growing to the size of saucers.\n\nJake repeated the question, his brow furrowing as Grovyle's jaw dropped in disbelief.\n\n``I cant speak a single word of human! How can you under our language?'' Grovyle shouted, his hands grabbing Jake by the shoulders. Neither of them answered each other's questions, but instead kept asking new ones as their voices rose to higher and higher pitches of surprise and confusion.\n\nThen they stopped as the door to the room clicked open, and Pichu and Quilava steps into the room and shut the door behind them. In each of their hands was a of steaming food, which they held carefully as they walked further into the room.\n\n``What's all the racket about Grovyle? Did you startle Jake or something?'' Pichu asked, lifting the plate over her head and setting it on a table against the wall. Quilava echoed the question as she did the same, noticing the shocked look on both Jake and Grovyle's face.\n\n``Jake understands what we're saying!'' Grovyle squabbled. Quilava gave him a besmirched look, clearly not believing a word as she walked over towards the two.\n\n``Right, and next you're going to say he's a shapeshifter. I think you need more rest than he does.'' Quilava said sarcastically, rolling her eyes.\n\n``That's kinda true as well.'' Jake commented, remembering that, of the things that have happened to so far, talking pokemon wasn't the hardest thing to believe. Thankfully the two pokemon had set their plates of food on the table before Jake had commented, otherwise they both would have dropped them right then and there.\n\nThe two shocked pokemon looked to Grovyle, who nodded his head and shrugged, then all three turned to look at Jake as the last part clicked in their heads.\n\n``What?'' they shouted in unison, now even more confused than before. Jake looked almost nonchalant as the weight of his statement hit them, \n\nHe let them stare at him for a moment before telling them what had happened. As he recounted the story with the labyrinth and his newfound power, all three of the pokemon had gotten as close to him as they could, crowding the side of his bed as they listened intently.\n\n``... I climbed out of the cave and... the rest you all know.'' Jake finished, taking a deep breath. All three of them were silent, eyes transfixed on him, until Grovyle piped up:\n\n``C-can you show us? N-not that we don't believe you, it just seems like a a story only a Farfetch'd would tell.'' He stammered with curiosity. Jake closed his eyes and took a deep breath, forming the mental image of Grovyle in his mind.\n\nA wave of nausea hit him as soon as soon as the warmth in his chest returned, his headache resurfacing and forcing him to stop to put his hands to his head in pain. Jake gave a frustrated sigh, then opened his eyes.\n\n``I-i can't do it right now. The voice said I could only do it for so long, maybe I still need to... recharge, or something like that? I don't know.'' Jake said, the headache slowly fading to a dull throb.\n\nThe pokemon all looked disappointed, but nodded in agreement. Pichu and Quilava scooted past Grovyle to return to the plates they'd left on the table while Grovyle brought Jake up to speed.\n\n``Well, given you can understand us now, I may as well tell you what happened after you fell unconscious.'' Grovyle said, seating himself on the edge of the bed.\n\n``Before you went down, me and Cyndaquil were fighting two trainers wearing dark uniforms. I was later told that their a band of thugs called `Team Plasma', but that's all I know. After you broke out of the cave, Dawn and I pulled you out as soon as possible. We had no idea what had happened inside there, nor what damage you'd sustained, and we were still far from any town to get you the help you needed.'' He continued.\n\n``While we were still trying to figure out how to help you, two trainers came in on a Charizard and Skarmory, saying they were something called `rangers' and wanted to know if anyone was injured. Dawn waved them to you, and they flew us to the closest town, where we are now.'' Grovyle took a breath, waving a hand to the room around them.\n\n``We got you into the hospital, but the nurse there said you were perfectly fine, aside from a couple bruises and cuts, and that you were just extremely exhausted. Dawn checked us into this hotel, and helped move you here so you didn't get sick in that place. I don't know where she is now, said she had `work' to do.'' \n\nHe finished just as Quilava slid the plate of food onto Jake's lap, who thanked her. One whiff of the food and Jake learned just how hungry he was, his mouth watering a tiny bit as he eyed the steaming food. He held back long enough to ask one question to Grovyle before digging in:\n\n``How long have I been asleep?'' Jake asked, his fingers latching around the fork and knife on the plate's side. Grovyle brought a claw to his chin, counting the days in his head. He hadn't strayed to far from Jake's side since the day they got here.\n\n``Two days, just about.'' Grovyle said with a nod. Jake nearly choked on his food as he looked up at the grass-type with shock. Two whole days!? Had he not been absolutely starved, Jake might have given a shocked retort to the statement, but the former was far too true for the latter to hold in his mind for even a second longer.\n\nThe knife and fork clattered against the plate as Jake finished his food, fuller than he'd ever felt before. Grovyle plucked the plate from his lap as the trainer laid down, placing his hands behind his head while the pokemon set the plate down on the table.\n\n``Tirtouga, time to eat!'' Pichu hollered, grabbing a fork as big as her body and stabbing it into the food on the plate in front of her. Jake looked around, but the turtle was nowhere to be seen, at least not until he felt his blanket shift.\n\nLooking down with surprise, Jake watched Tirtouga poke his head out from underneath the blanket, a smile on his beak as he looked at Jake's surprised expression.\n\n``You started shivering one night, so I kept you warm for awhile. Hope you don't mind, sir.'' Tirtouga said, pushing himself onto the edge of the bed with his flippers. Jake gave a low ``uh'' as Tirtouga tipped forward off the bed, his head and fins ducking into his shell as he bounced along the floor before popping out and waddling towards the table.\n\nGrovyle was about to reach down and lift him onto the table when the fire-type leapt up onto the table with one jump. It didn't take long for the plate of food to empty between the four of them. Leaving the plates out on a cart for the hotel help to take away, all but Grovyle climbed into the unoccupied bed beside Jake's.\n\nNaturally, Grovyle slipped in beside Jake and struck up a conversation with him, something he'd never expected to be truly possible until now. The two talked for hours about... anything, really. They'd never been able to truly talk to one another, yet with Jake's new power, a gateway between them had been unlocked, and they were free to talk and talk.\n\nJake didn't know how long he and Grovyle talked, but as soon as he noticed that the usual hyper-active Pichu and Quilava were snoozing soundly inside another hastily erected pillow fort, it was pretty clear that they had been going for a long while. Tirtouga was also sound asleep in his shell, two pillows leaning over him in a tent-like fashion.\n\nThe conversation shifted as Jake felt a telltale prodding in his thigh, making the trainer give the pokemon a stern look. Grovyle blushed, scratching the back of his head as he made his intentions clear.\n\n``Sorry, I-I just missed my trainer so much for the last couple days.'' Grovyle said, batting his eyes at Jake to try and stir a smile on his face.\n\nIt worked, although Jake was more warmed by the heartfelt statement than anything else. \n\n``I'm so glad to have someone like you at my side.'' Jake said, pulling the pokemon into a hug, the prodding getting harder as Grovyle was pulled towards him.\n\n%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%\n\nJake and Grovyle ducked under the blanket, intent to do more than cuddle the night away. Grovyle's hand reached towards his trainer's boxers, pressing against the growing bulge beneath the cloth before hooking a claw on the clothing's rim and pulling it down.\n\nHe wrapped his paw around Jake's manhood, gently rubbing the soft flesh in his grasp. Jake shut his eyes, letting the pokemon do as he wished, until a familiar warmth returned in his chest. Well, there wasn't any reason not to give it another try. Just like before, Jake envisioned Grovyle as best he could, ignoring the nausea he began to feel in the pit of his stomach.\n\nAnd just like in the cave, a brief flash lit the inside of the blanket like the sun for a split second, Grovyle's hand leaving his trainer's cock to shield his eyes. When the light died down, Grovyle lowered his paws and looked at... another Grovyle. He was stunned for a second until the pokemon whispered to him.\n\n``Hey it worked this time.'' Jake muttered, making sure the others hadn't been woken by the sudden flash of light. Nothing moved on that side of the room when Jake peeked out from under the blanket, reassuring him while Grovyle tried to get over the transformation jake just undertook in the blink of an eye.\n\n``Hey, don't just gawk, I'm not sure how long I can stay like this, so we'd better enjoy it while it still works.'' Jake whispered to Grovyle, snapping him from his shock. Grovyle smiled warmly, his hand tracing over Jake's smooth scales until it reached the base of his cock.\n\nGrovyle's eyes strayed to look at the cock his hand slowly reached up to stroke, not shocked in the least at how it was almost a mirror image to his own, which was beginning to poke from his slit. The pokemon lifted his hand higher, rubbing the frills that ran up the side of Jake's cock, making him shiver with delight.\n\nJake's cock jumped as his sensitive frills met the pokemon's cool scales. It was even worse when Grovyle wrapped his paw around Jake's tip, a practical gold mine of sensitive frills for the pokemon to exploit, which he fully intended to do.\n\nGrovyle of all pokemon knew exactly what Jake was going through, and just what could set him off. Keeping his one hand gently stroking the bumpy tip of Jake's member, the grass-type grabbed his own member and stroked it, panting with lust.\n\nThe trainer gasped and moaned from every touch from the pokemon, toes balled tight as his climax was all too close. Pre spewed from Jake's tip, barely making it an inch down before Grovyle's hands rubbed it into every pore between his frills, relishing the soft noises his trainer made with each stroke.\n\nGrovyle felt Jake's cock throb with his heartbeat, and began to rub up and down both their shaft in long strokes, taking extra care around both their sensitive nubs at the sides of their rods with masterful dexterity.\n\nHe felt Jake's orgasm before he heard the trainer give a long exhale, cum springing up his shaft fast enough that the first string that escaped his tip caught Jake on the beak. Grovyle slowed down as Jake's orgasm shot his load over his belly.\n\nJake's leafy tails quivered as his orgasm tapered off, panting heavily. Every fiber of his being was alight from his climax, limbs relaxing as the last few shots of white seed landed on his slowly rising chest. It was the best orgasm Jake had had in a very long while, and he couldn't wait until his next. \n\nAs it would turn out, neither could Grovyle. Jake gasped as he felt Grovyle's warm tongue on his belly, licking the sticky cum from his green scales with a methodical slowness. The pokemon worked his way up Jake's body, leaving the scales in his wake shiny with his spit as he climbed onto him.\n\nGrovyle's member quickly undid the pokemon's work, smearing his pre over Jake as his rear brushed against Jake's still-hard dick, sending another shiver up the trainer's back, only this time of anticipation. He felt his tip prod against the pokemon's pucker.\n\nThe pokemon laced his fingers in Jake's hands as he lowered himself onto Jake's pole, his ring opening to accept the red intruder into him with ease. The two cooed as one, Grovyle's cock jumping as he felt the trainer's frills rub against his inner walls.\n\nInching his way down, Grovyle spread himself wide on Jake's cock one centimeter at a time, gasping loudly with each new nub that pushed past his hole and scratched the itches he so badly longed for. Finally Grovyle reached Jake's knotted base, his ring kissing the top of the wide for a brief moment before his legs found purchase on the bed and he began to lift himself up.\n\nJake could hardly contain himself, the pokemon's insides were everything he could have hoped for. He squirmed underneath Grovyle as the pokemon slowly rose back up, a wet popping sound echoing under the blanket with each wide nub that slipped out of the pokemon's warm embrace.\n\nThe pokemon licked at Jake's beak, wiping the final string of cum from his first orgasm away as Grovyle pulled the trainer into a deep kiss. The two's tongues explored one another's mouth as the grass-type slowly sunk back down onto his member, moaning into one another's beaks.\n\nThey held both the rhythm and the kiss for a good while, until Grovyle broke the latter to focus on one last push. Rearing back, Grovyle pressed down on Jake's rod with all his weight, his knot grinding against the edges of his hole until, with an audible wet pop, his pucker opened wide enough to receive the last of Jake's length. Grovyle's back arched backwards as his climax hit him harder than ever before, shooting thick ropes of cum onto Jake. Jake himself had a few seconds to muffle his own shrill squabble when his knot pushed into the grass-type, and his second orgasm came faster than his last.\n\nThe pokemon felt oh so wonderfully full, made all the better when he felt Jake's cock paint his insides with his warm cum. Grovyle fell forward onto Jake, his hands still interlaced with his as the two rode out their orgasms into their afterglows.\n\nTheir heavy breathing was the only noise the two made, even as they slowly drifted into the throws of sleep together, cuddling the night away...\n\nTO BE CONTINUED...\n\n","writing_bbcode_parsed":"
____________________________________________________________
This story is implemented with a Skip feature. Quilava was still snoozing on his chest as he sat up, the fire-type rolling limply down his chest until she slowly slid off his belly onto the tent floor. Patting her on the head, Jake immediately noticed two things:

One: Grovyle wasn't in the tent with him and Quilava.

And two: He was still stark naked, and covered in dried juices from last night. Rubbing the sleep from his eyes, Jake hurriedly felt around for his boxers, which he quickly slipped on as soon as he found it.

Quietly crawling over to the tent flap, Jake unzipped the bottom just enough for him to peek out and see what had made the noise. Judging by the shining metal bucket practically leaning against the tent, Jake took a guess as to where Grovyle had disappeared to.

Zipping open the tent open, Jake confirmed his guess when he saw the green pokemon sat cross-legged beside the flap, having clearly recently cleaned himself while he and Quilava were still snoozing.

Grovyle was visibly blushing, his gaze raised high as if to prove he wasn't looking at anything in particular. Movement caught Jake's eye, and he turned to see a very pleased looking Grotle walking over to Dawn's tent with a carefree gait, her tail swinging from side to side happily.

Jake smirked, piecing together the obvious as he grabbed the bucket by its handle. Grovyle said nothing as Jake disappeared back into the tent and zipped it up, the pokemon's gaze drifting down to the massive swaying rump that Grotle was clearly putting on display. His blush grew darker as he forced his attention elsewhere, shutting his eyes as he listed to Jake wake and try to clean Quilava at the same time.

Addorning two new scratch marks, Jake finally set the towel he had procured from his bottomless backpack, at least that's what Quilava considered it to be, and began to dress.

While Jake was busy getting decent, Dawn slowly opened the flap to her tent, peeking out to see Grotle beaming at her. She ducked her head down to see Grovyle sitting in front of Jake's tent, his eyes still closed.

Piplup was in her arms as she snuck out from her tent and into the forest to clean up, her backpack barely scraping the ground in her other hand as she tiptoed away. Even though he was still groggy, Piplup managed to get a stream of water from his mouth to shoot out over Dawn's naked form, washing away the evidence of their sex.

Once she was clean, Dawn dried herself down and put on her usual outfit, hoping Jake wouldn't notice her absence. Piplup waddling tiredly beside her, Dawn returned to see that Jake had started the campfire and was cooking something inside a metal pan

``Morning Dawn!'' He shouted with a wave as she appeared from around her tent, a warm smile across his face as he grabbed a spatula from beside the fire.

``M-Morning.'' she replied, hoping he wouldn't ask where she'd gone. Thankfully he didn't, his focus on the slab of preserved meat he'd pulled from his pack, along all the other ingredients he kept tightly packed in its various pouches.

Grovyle and Quilava were off collecting berries and whatever else they could find to add some variety to the meal, per his request. Knowing Grovyle, he'd bring an entire bush's worth on his own. Jake's exaggeration was more on the nose than he was expecting as the grass-type returned, hefting what looked like a bag made of vines and leaves, and it was big.

The top was brimming with brightly colored berries, a couple spilling out behind Grovyle as he hefted the bag with both his hands. The trail of berries he left was quickly swallowed up by Quilava, who trailed behind him gobbling up each colorful fruit that fell behind.

``Welcome back guys. You, uh, didn't need to bring that much back.'' Jake said as Grovyle dropped the bag beside the fire with a tired sigh.

``Grovyle.'' He replied, pointing a clawed finger towards Grotle, who was eying the rainbow of berries in the leaf bag hungrily. Jake shrugged and pulled the pan off the fire, the meat still sizzling as he began to cut the slab into even pieces with the spatula.

Dawn, wanting to contribute in some way to breakfast, fished inside her tent and pulled out an assortment of white plates from... somewhere inside.

Once all the food was divvied up and all of the two trainer's teams were out and enjoying their meal, Jake understood pretty quickly why Grovyle had collected so many berries. After giving everyone several of their own, Grovyle picked up the leaf bag, which was still over half-way full, and dragged it over to Grotle.

Giving a thanks to him, Grotle dipped her head into the bag and took a colossal bite out of the stockpile of berries inside, her beak coming back up with a myriad of colored berry juices dripping onto the ground as she chewed on the tiny fruits.

Dawn piped up as she bit into the savory meat, a surprised look on her face:

``Wow, this is really good! Your a hell of a cook, Jake!'' Dawn exclaimed, a satisfied smile crossing her face as she chewed. Jake blushed lightly, sharing a joyful look on his face as he ate.

``You kinda remind me of a friend of mine, he's an amazing chef and... er...'' Dawn said, stopping herself mid sentence. Jake cocked a brow as she grew silent.

``Thanks, I learned a lot from my mom. Can I ask who your friend is, or...?'' Jake asked with curiosity. Dawn fidgeted as he asked the question, making Jake concerned as to the answer he sought.

``W-Well, I can't really remember... It's been a long time since we talked...'' Dawn replied, dodging the subject as much as possible. Jake didn't ask anything further, given how much she clearly disliked about the subject.

Quilava and Jake were the first done with their food, so they began the process of packing up their tent and supplies. Piplup sprayed down the plates and the pan with a jet of water from his mouth, and Dawn along with Grovyle and Clefairy took down her tent.

A little bit of packing and returning most of their pokemon to their pokeballs later, the two trainers were ready to break camp and continue their hike across the valley. Entirely unknown to them, nestled over a ridge that loomed over the road, were two people clad in dark grey uniforms.

Jerome and Emily were well rested this time around, and they had the a plan set in motion. Peeking over the edge with their binoculars, the two Team Plasma grunts watched Jake and Dawn round the bend into view.

The ground behind them burst open as a steel ant broke free from the stone, its razor-sharp pincers crushing a head-sized boulder held between them. Emily and Jerome gave a sinister snicker as they crawled back from the edge.

Several holes like the one Durant had just made lined the edges of the overhanging ridge, where Heatmor and Gigalith practically fumed with anticipation. They had been aching for some action ever since the kid had wormed through their fingers back in Oreburgh.

Everything was going according to plan. Nobody had seen the two climb up the steep cliff face in the night, leaving them plenty of time to devise a way to trap Jake and nab the Pichu he moronically held.

A shame too, that he'd interfered with their original plans in Jubilife when they'd killed the PokeMart employee only to find the pokeball in the store was empty. Had he simply kept to himself, maybe Jake wouldn't have to die.

Not that either of the grunts minded, their hands were plenty dirty already. Stepping past the line of holes in the stone, Jerome and Emily tossed their uniforms aside to reveal black harnesses that were strapped to their chests, their hands grabbing the coil of climbing rope wound on their backs and looping them on the set of spikes stabbed into the stone. They gave the lines a tug, and when the spikes didn't budge no matter how hard they pulled, they waited.

Jake, Dawn, Piplup, Grovyle, Quilava, and Pichu. None of them suspected a thing as they walked under the ridge far above them, smiling like idiots as they chatted to one another, thinking nothing of the impending danger above them.

Until a earth-shattering explosion shook the very earth above and beneath them. Heatmor and gigalith poured their attacks into the holes in the cliff, sending scorching flames and speeding boulders deep into the heart of the tunnels Durant had burrowed. Their attacks collided in the center, detonating like bombs as the stone quivered and broke.

Jerome and Emily readied themselves as the stone began to yawn away from them, an unholy crunching of stone splitting from stone resounding throughout the valley as another explosion tore the building-sized boulder into an avalanche of stone.

Jake looked up as the stone detonated for the second time, his vision filled with the sight of crumbling stone that began to tumble and fall. Falling towards them. Dawn gave a scream as they all began running in unison, sprinting maddly to avoid the rocky avalanche barreling towards them.

Pichu, being the shortest of the bunch, failed to keep up with the pack, tripping as her tiny feet caught on a stone in the road. Jake skidded to a halt and doubled back as fast as he could, the first boulder crashing behind the electric-type as she cowered in fear. Quilava turned back as well to protect her trainer, but Grovyle quickly snatcher her from the ground and dove as another car-sized rock struck the ground where they once stood.

Another boulder hurtled towards the two as they scrambled to their feet, when a streak of water, faster than they could even see, obliterated the rock into a hail of pebbles. Piplup stood his ground, spitting lighting-fast bullets of water and splitting stones with each shot he took, buying the two enough time to get out from under the storm of stones.

Jake grabbed Pichu and pushed her close to his chest, fist-sized boulders pelting his back as he covered her as best he could. A boulder crashed crashed against the stone cliff beside him, shattering the rock wall like glass as it bounced over the two. The wall crumbled, revealing a small alcove inside the cliff, and the only place Jake could go.

Diving for what was the only possible safe space in the trap, Jake narrowly avoided becoming a pancake as two more boulders crushed the area where had been into dust. He tumbled forward, keeping Pichu tight against him as the alcove became more of a tunnel, swallowing him into the darkness as the rest of the cliff crumbled over the entrance.

The trap was sprung, and Jerome and Emily were quick to finish the job, Jumping from the broken cliff edge, the two grunts grabbed onto their life lines hard, planting their feet onto the sharp rock face and began to descend. Emily shouted to Jerome, pointing a gloved finger to Dawn and the pokemon just beyond the destroyed road.

In unison the two plucked four black capsules from their belts and chucked them towards the rubble and the team. The capsules popped mid-air, releasing thick clouds of black smoke that blanketed the site in a impassable fog.

As the two descended, Grovyle shouted something angrily to Quilava, jabbing a clawed finger to the obvious culprits descending towards the road. Quilava's eyes followed his finger until they locked in place on the two dark-clothed goons, the fires on her back growing to infernos as she began to seethe with anger.

Grovyle pulled his arm back, then swung forward, a wave of swirling leaves billowing past them towards Jerome and Emily, the edges of his body glowing an eery white. Jerome and Emily had enough time to yell as their lines were cut, dropping them the rest of the way into the smoke.

Her back a raging inferno, Quilava darted into the smoke along with Grovyle, her body beginning to glow the same ghostly white light as him. Jerome and Emily hard, having dropped at least two stories worth when Jake's pokemon had cut them down, literally.

But they had no time to recover as a sinister red glow radiated through the smoke, the air becoming crisp and arid. The two quickly released their pokemon as a wave of fiery leaves sliced through the air towards them, signalling the beginning of the blind battle...

...

...

Still tumbling, Jake bounced down the rocky tunnel, the electric-type in his hands crying loudly as they fell further into the earth. Finally the tunnel opened up, dropping the beaten trainer hard against the solid floor of a cave, knocking both the breath from him, and the pokemon in his arms.

Jake heaved with pain, gasping for breath. Rolling over, Jake painfully felt for Pichu, his mind set on making sure she was okay, rather than his own well being. Jake's bag, which had been torn from him in the fall, landed shortly after him, bouncing once, then twice as it slid to a halt beside him.

Still aching with pain, Jake found he was in complete darkness, and weakly reached for his PokeDex, flipping it open as he tried to catch his breath. Glancing at the screen, he navigated the menu despite the broken screen he was looking at, and turned on the flashlight.

Shining the light around the dark cave, Jake found Pichu huddled not far away, and quickly stumbled to his feet and scooped her in his arms. She was unconscious, with a small cut on her forehead seeping blood onto her face, staining the fur red. Jake grabbed his back and pulled a potion out from one of its compartments, his arms still aching as he sprayed the wound.

The wound slowly sealed, but the electric-type remained down and out. Jake gave her a hug before returning her to her ball, hoping the cut was the only wound she'd acquired in the fall. Still reeling from the pain, Jake grabbed his pack by one of the straps and pulled, expecting the entire pack to still be in one piece.

Instead, the strap snapped at the bottom, nearly making Jake punch himself in the face as he pulled the broken cloth up. This time he tested the other strap before scooping up the bag and lopped it over his shoulder, noting the cuts and scrapes it had acquired in the fall.

Flashing his light around him, Jake didn't see anything he might have lost in the fall, and looked up to where he'd come in from. Sure enough, the tunnel he'd fell from was far above him, and very out of reach. Sighing angrily, Jake turned and looked around the cave.

Stalagmites and stalactites criss crossed on the ceiling and ground along the walls of the room, forming teeth-like faces that put Jake on edge, until he saw that the cave continued further. Considering his lack of options, Jake stumbled his way further into the darkness, the eerie silence making it all the creepier.

That silence was broken as Jake began to hear water rushing from somewhere, his light beginning to shine of the dark, uneven stone until he finally found its source: A waterfall high above that sprayed water into the depths of a chasm, one he didn't dare to step near, given the amount of water that coated its edge.

Jake pressed a fist to his head as he took a moment's rest, his mind shifting to the state of the rest of his team. Had they made it out from under the avalanche? Or were they crushed underneath all the rubble? Jake's breathing quivered as he almost brought himself to tears, unable to stop worrying about his pokemon.

Suddenly, a chunk of stone fell from the ceiling across the room, creating a boom that made Jake jump with a shrill screech of fear. His eyes darted to where the stone had fallen, his flashlight quickly catching up with his gaze as he tried to see what had caused the sudden noise.

Instead, he noticed that, where the stone had once been rough and uneven, it was oddly smooth and flat, almost like...

Keeping well away from the chasm, Jake walked up to the smooth floor and found the cracked rock that'd split itself on the ground. But only half of it was there, particularly the side that fell away from the wall...

Pressing his hand against the rocky wall, Jake had his suspicions confirmed as his hand went through the stone. Stepping through the false wall, Jake was met with an all-too familiar sight: An entrance to the ruins he'd found at Oreburgh.

Although there was no other way to go other than forward, Jake was hesitant to walk down the narrow tunnel of ancient stone, fearing that, at any moment, it could collapse around him. Even still, he carefully tiptoed down the passage, his flashlight darting from side to side for anything that could jump out at him.

The tunnel gave away to a room, one just as massive as the one he'd found a day ago, only it wasn't empty in the least. Rows upon rows of stone-carved pokemon stood to attention, no two the same, and no two looking in a different direction. They all faced forward, their gaze permanently forward. Monolithic pillars, cracked and worn from centuries of time, held the ceiling up with their peerless strength.

An aisle stretched on from where the tunnel opened up, unobstructed as it lead towards a massive, and surprisingly pristine pedestal, stood in the center of the room. Atop the pedestal was a Charizard, but it was nothing like one Jake had ever seen before.

It stood on four trunk-thick legs, it's neck long and just as thick as its legs, with an angular, almost bone-like head cresting the top of its neck smoothly. Rows of pointy teeth seemed to smile at Jake, it's eyes hollow and empty, more literally than figuratively. Keeping his ears out for any noise at all, Jake stepped towards the pedestal, his eyes locked with the menacing look of the massive pokemon that dominated the entire room.

It wasn't until he stepped past the closest row of pokemon did he notice how immense the room was. Thousands more statues encircled the center shrine, which it was beginning to look like more and more as Jake stepped closer.

The air felt electric, buzzing with energy as Jake got closer and closer. Suddenly, the statue's eyes lit up with icy blue flames, the notches in the pedestal glowing with the same light a moment after. Jake was ready to high-tail it back when a voice echoed throughout the room.

``You need not leave little one. I do not come bearing harm towards you, only an offer.'' It said, deep and gravely. Jake froze, his eyes meeting with the glowing eye sockets. An offer?

``Indeed, I can offer you a way out of these dark depths, I ask only for your assistance in exchange.'' the voice continued, echoing throughout the chamber in an almost godlike way.

``W-what's the catch? Are you some kind of demon who wants to destroy the world or something?'' Jake asked, suppressing his inner fear as best as possible. The last thing he was expecting as a reply was a deep chuckle, the cyan glow dimming for a moment with each laugh the voice made.

``There is none. I am no `demon', nor do I want to destroy the world, I simply want your help when your quest has concluded. No strings attached, I can promise at least that.'' It continued, easing at least some of Jake's fears.

The voice had made an offer Jake simply couldn't refuse, he just hoped it wouldn't bite him in the ass when the time came. He was still confused, but at the very least he hoped the voice's offer was more truth than lie.

``A-alright, I guess I accept.'' Jake said with a defeated sigh.

``You will not regret it, Jake. I assure you.'' The voice said, fading to silence as it did. All at once, the room lit up with icy blue light, from the cracks in the behemoth pillars to the lines in the walkway and the pedestal.

That same light seemed to pool at Jake's feet, rising up his pants like tendrils as it wreathed him in a tingling warmth that seeped into his flesh. A floating sensation took hold of him as he was lifted off the ground, the light snaking up to his chest as he slowly rose higher and higher. The warm sensation seemed to focus around the center of his chest.

Along with the light coiling up to meet him, the cyan glow seemed to perfume the air around Jake with smoke, obscuring his vision as it covered him from head to toe. Then his arms and legs began to tingle, a feeling of them being gently pulled confusing him all the more. At least it didn't hurt.

A blinding light filled his vision, the floating sensation disappearing along with the smoke as it dropped Jake down onto the ground. He landed in a crouch, surprised at how the fall barely felt like anything at all.

Then he noticed that he seemed to be a good foot shorter than normal. He went to rub his eyes, but stopped short as he noticed his skin was... green? In fact, the hand before him sported only three clawed fingers, identical to Grovyle's in every way.

Although he didn't look down, Jake felt his clothes were still snug against him, had the voice simply changed his arms so he could climb out? Just to be sure, Jake opened the camera app on his PokeDex and changed it to the front-facing camera. Instead of Jake's human face, he was greeted with the green beak and yellow eyes of a Grovyle on the display, perfectly mimicking his surprise as his eyes shot open with utter disbelief.

He was a Grovyle!? Jake panicked and dropped the PokeDex onto the ground, his eyes shooting down to confirm what he already knew. His shirt, along with his pants and shoes, had been changed entirely to fit his new body, from his long clawed toes to his thin forearms and chest.

Sensing his panicked state, the voice echoed through the room once more:

``I assure you, everything is alright, Jake. You will soon master your newfound power. I shall assist you this one time, now, focus on the form of your original body, of the human you've always been.''

A force drove the panic that was set into Jake's mind like a wave of water, leaving him to think rationally in a situation that was everything but that, rational. Instead he listened to the voice and pictured himself as he'd always known himself, his eyes closing as he thought as hard as he could.

Another flash of light dominated the room, and Jake opened his eyes to see he was completely back to normal. He opened and closed his hand just to be sure, then looked up to the statue with wonder.

``I have given you the power to change who you are. But you cannot become any pokemon, no. you must form an unbreakable bond with those you desire to be, and for now, you can only stay as one of them for so long. Go, before your time runs out!'' It exclaimed the cyan lights slowly dwindling as the flames in the statue's eyes faded to nothing.

``W-wait, what am I supposed to do though? When will you need me, and why?'' Jake shouted his questions at the statue, but only silence greeted his questions. Jake's mind was abuzz with the event that had just happened. The voice, the transformation, none of it made any sense.

Scooping up his PokeDex and flipping it open, Jake mulled over what he'd just experienced when the display seemed to dim a bit. He didn't have all the time in the world to be thinking and what he'd gotten himself into.

Groaning with annoyance, Jake began to wonder just what he was capable of right then and there. An idea popped into his head, one involving the fire-type he'd been with ever since the start of his journey. Closing his eyes just like he'd been told, Jake focused on a mental image of Quilava, her flames providing the light he'd need to see in the growing darkness.

Sure enough, a brief flash of light encompassed Jake and he found himself a great deal shorter. Behind him, orange flames lashed out from the vents in his back with each breath, lighting the area around him perfectly. He looked back in fear that his backpack and clothing would catch fire, but whatever power he'd gained seemed to take care of that issue as well, given the sewn holes in his red hoodie that let the flames flow uninterrupted.

Taking a wobbly step forward, Jake fell flat on his face as he tried to take another step. How in the world did Quilava even walk? Pushing himself back up, Jake stopped mid-way as he felt... natural on all fours.

It was strange, but Jake walked perfectly fine, at least as a pokemon, into the tunnel he'd arrived in. One step at a time, he'd make it to the surface, and then he'd figure everything out. He hoped so at least.

Following the path he'd taken as a human, Jake walked back to the cave he'd fallen in from, aided by the far broader light of his flames. Glancing up, he sized up the hole that had dispensed him in here, and had a ``brilliant'' idea. Quilava was amazingly agile, jumping high and above what he originally expected from her. Perhaps he could do the same?

Bunching up his four legs, Jake reared up and lept towards the hole faster than he'd known possible. His aim was off, his snout bashing against the ceiling as he landed on all fours. After two more unsuccessful jumps, Jake finally caught the ledge of the tunnel and scrambled inside.

His snout hurt like hell, but he was up, and that was all he cared about. Now all he had to do was climb up. Doing just that, Jake learned just how far he'd fallen through each rocky lip he used to ascend, surprised he'd been able to walk after such an immense fall.

Looking up, Jake's hope was reinvigorated as he saw white light at the end of the tunnel shining through a crack at the tunnels entrance. Climbing faster than ever before, Jake made record time as he reached the caved-in entrance. He pushed against the rocks with all his might, but had to stop when he nearly risked falling back down with exhaustion.

Another idea came to mind as Jake inched away from the boulders. He visualized a column of flames spewing from his mouth, blowing out the rocks to let him out, but the problem was, he had no clue how to enact such a plan.

The answer can from his gut. Literally. A warmth hotter than the normal temperature he'd felt since he became a Quilava pooled in his stomach, churning deep within him. Embers sparked from his throat as he opened his jaw as far as he could, trying to aim his mouth towards the center of the boulders.

He felt the fire rolling up his throat like a fiery burp, exploding from his maw in a wild spray as it leapt towards the cave-in. The fire made contact with the stones, holding for a moment until they blew away under the attacks pure power, trails of fire following them as they were catapulted out of the way.

Jake gave a delusional laugh, he actually just breathed fire! His glory was cut short as a wave of fatigue sunk into him, a flash of light signalling the end of his fun as a Quilava.

Grovyle and Quilava weren't expecting a spray of flaming boulders to interrupt their battle, nearly hitting the latter as they sailed over to the other side of the road. Jerome and Emily were in full retreat, having lost three of their pokemon to the two's absurd strength. Even in the thick smoke, Grovyle and quilava had nailed their pokemon with hit after hit, knocking one after another out like they were worthless toys.

The smoke was fading, and neither of the pokemon gave chase as their eyes turned to look at what had interrupted the battle. A hand grabbed the edge of the small alcove, pulling its owner into view of the two pokemon as Jake struggled to pull himself over the rocky lip.

``H-Hey guys... ``Jake said weakly his other hand giving a faint wave before he slumped against the ground, the world going dark...

...

...

.....

Jake was slow to wake back up, a nauseating headache wracking his brain as he cracked his eyes open. He was in a bed, his head propped up and giving him a chance to survey the room. He certainly wasn't in a hospital, given the cream brown walls and wooden furniture. It looked more like a hotel room, but...

Jake realised Grovyle was sat beside him, rubbing his arm as he felt his forehead.

``Jake, you feeling alright?'' Grovyle asked, looking at Jake with concern. If there was a record playing in Jake's head, it had grinded to a halt with the loudest scratch imaginable. His eyes shot open as he sat up.

``When could you speak English?'' Jake shouted, giving Grovyle the most shocked look in history. Grovyle cocked his head at Jake and placed a hand on his chest to slowly push him back down onto the mattress.

``Hmm, might be delusional. It's been a while since he's eaten.'' Grovyle mumbled to himself, trying to get his trainer to lay back down.

``I'm not delusional, Grovyle!'' Jake shouted. Grovyle froze as Jake replied to his comment, eyes growing to the size of saucers.

Jake repeated the question, his brow furrowing as Grovyle's jaw dropped in disbelief.

``I cant speak a single word of human! How can you under our language?'' Grovyle shouted, his hands grabbing Jake by the shoulders. Neither of them answered each other's questions, but instead kept asking new ones as their voices rose to higher and higher pitches of surprise and confusion.

Then they stopped as the door to the room clicked open, and Pichu and Quilava steps into the room and shut the door behind them. In each of their hands was a of steaming food, which they held carefully as they walked further into the room.

``What's all the racket about Grovyle? Did you startle Jake or something?'' Pichu asked, lifting the plate over her head and setting it on a table against the wall. Quilava echoed the question as she did the same, noticing the shocked look on both Jake and Grovyle's face.

``Jake understands what we're saying!'' Grovyle squabbled. Quilava gave him a besmirched look, clearly not believing a word as she walked over towards the two.

``Right, and next you're going to say he's a shapeshifter. I think you need more rest than he does.'' Quilava said sarcastically, rolling her eyes.

``That's kinda true as well.'' Jake commented, remembering that, of the things that have happened to so far, talking pokemon wasn't the hardest thing to believe. Thankfully the two pokemon had set their plates of food on the table before Jake had commented, otherwise they both would have dropped them right then and there.

The two shocked pokemon looked to Grovyle, who nodded his head and shrugged, then all three turned to look at Jake as the last part clicked in their heads.

``What?'' they shouted in unison, now even more confused than before. Jake looked almost nonchalant as the weight of his statement hit them,

He let them stare at him for a moment before telling them what had happened. As he recounted the story with the labyrinth and his newfound power, all three of the pokemon had gotten as close to him as they could, crowding the side of his bed as they listened intently.

``... I climbed out of the cave and... the rest you all know.'' Jake finished, taking a deep breath. All three of them were silent, eyes transfixed on him, until Grovyle piped up:

``C-can you show us? N-not that we don't believe you, it just seems like a a story only a Farfetch'd would tell.'' He stammered with curiosity. Jake closed his eyes and took a deep breath, forming the mental image of Grovyle in his mind.

A wave of nausea hit him as soon as soon as the warmth in his chest returned, his headache resurfacing and forcing him to stop to put his hands to his head in pain. Jake gave a frustrated sigh, then opened his eyes.

``I-i can't do it right now. The voice said I could only do it for so long, maybe I still need to... recharge, or something like that? I don't know.'' Jake said, the headache slowly fading to a dull throb.

The pokemon all looked disappointed, but nodded in agreement. Pichu and Quilava scooted past Grovyle to return to the plates they'd left on the table while Grovyle brought Jake up to speed.

``Well, given you can understand us now, I may as well tell you what happened after you fell unconscious.'' Grovyle said, seating himself on the edge of the bed.

``Before you went down, me and Cyndaquil were fighting two trainers wearing dark uniforms. I was later told that their a band of thugs called `Team Plasma', but that's all I know. After you broke out of the cave, Dawn and I pulled you out as soon as possible. We had no idea what had happened inside there, nor what damage you'd sustained, and we were still far from any town to get you the help you needed.'' He continued.

``While we were still trying to figure out how to help you, two trainers came in on a Charizard and Skarmory, saying they were something called `rangers' and wanted to know if anyone was injured. Dawn waved them to you, and they flew us to the closest town, where we are now.'' Grovyle took a breath, waving a hand to the room around them.

``We got you into the hospital, but the nurse there said you were perfectly fine, aside from a couple bruises and cuts, and that you were just extremely exhausted. Dawn checked us into this hotel, and helped move you here so you didn't get sick in that place. I don't know where she is now, said she had `work' to do.''

He finished just as Quilava slid the plate of food onto Jake's lap, who thanked her. One whiff of the food and Jake learned just how hungry he was, his mouth watering a tiny bit as he eyed the steaming food. He held back long enough to ask one question to Grovyle before digging in:

``How long have I been asleep?'' Jake asked, his fingers latching around the fork and knife on the plate's side. Grovyle brought a claw to his chin, counting the days in his head. He hadn't strayed to far from Jake's side since the day they got here.

``Two days, just about.'' Grovyle said with a nod. Jake nearly choked on his food as he looked up at the grass-type with shock. Two whole days!? Had he not been absolutely starved, Jake might have given a shocked retort to the statement, but the former was far too true for the latter to hold in his mind for even a second longer.

The knife and fork clattered against the plate as Jake finished his food, fuller than he'd ever felt before. Grovyle plucked the plate from his lap as the trainer laid down, placing his hands behind his head while the pokemon set the plate down on the table.

``Tirtouga, time to eat!'' Pichu hollered, grabbing a fork as big as her body and stabbing it into the food on the plate in front of her. Jake looked around, but the turtle was nowhere to be seen, at least not until he felt his blanket shift.

Looking down with surprise, Jake watched Tirtouga poke his head out from underneath the blanket, a smile on his beak as he looked at Jake's surprised expression.

``You started shivering one night, so I kept you warm for awhile. Hope you don't mind, sir.'' Tirtouga said, pushing himself onto the edge of the bed with his flippers. Jake gave a low ``uh'' as Tirtouga tipped forward off the bed, his head and fins ducking into his shell as he bounced along the floor before popping out and waddling towards the table.

Grovyle was about to reach down and lift him onto the table when the fire-type leapt up onto the table with one jump. It didn't take long for the plate of food to empty between the four of them. Leaving the plates out on a cart for the hotel help to take away, all but Grovyle climbed into the unoccupied bed beside Jake's.

Naturally, Grovyle slipped in beside Jake and struck up a conversation with him, something he'd never expected to be truly possible until now. The two talked for hours about... anything, really. They'd never been able to truly talk to one another, yet with Jake's new power, a gateway between them had been unlocked, and they were free to talk and talk.

Jake didn't know how long he and Grovyle talked, but as soon as he noticed that the usual hyper-active Pichu and Quilava were snoozing soundly inside another hastily erected pillow fort, it was pretty clear that they had been going for a long while. Tirtouga was also sound asleep in his shell, two pillows leaning over him in a tent-like fashion.

The conversation shifted as Jake felt a telltale prodding in his thigh, making the trainer give the pokemon a stern look. Grovyle blushed, scratching the back of his head as he made his intentions clear.

``Sorry, I-I just missed my trainer so much for the last couple days.'' Grovyle said, batting his eyes at Jake to try and stir a smile on his face.

It worked, although Jake was more warmed by the heartfelt statement than anything else.

``I'm so glad to have someone like you at my side.'' Jake said, pulling the pokemon into a hug, the prodding getting harder as Grovyle was pulled towards him.

%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%

Jake and Grovyle ducked under the blanket, intent to do more than cuddle the night away. Grovyle's hand reached towards his trainer's boxers, pressing against the growing bulge beneath the cloth before hooking a claw on the clothing's rim and pulling it down.

He wrapped his paw around Jake's manhood, gently rubbing the soft flesh in his grasp. Jake shut his eyes, letting the pokemon do as he wished, until a familiar warmth returned in his chest. Well, there wasn't any reason not to give it another try. Just like before, Jake envisioned Grovyle as best he could, ignoring the nausea he began to feel in the pit of his stomach.

And just like in the cave, a brief flash lit the inside of the blanket like the sun for a split second, Grovyle's hand leaving his trainer's cock to shield his eyes. When the light died down, Grovyle lowered his paws and looked at... another Grovyle. He was stunned for a second until the pokemon whispered to him.

``Hey it worked this time.'' Jake muttered, making sure the others hadn't been woken by the sudden flash of light. Nothing moved on that side of the room when Jake peeked out from under the blanket, reassuring him while Grovyle tried to get over the transformation jake just undertook in the blink of an eye.

``Hey, don't just gawk, I'm not sure how long I can stay like this, so we'd better enjoy it while it still works.'' Jake whispered to Grovyle, snapping him from his shock. Grovyle smiled warmly, his hand tracing over Jake's smooth scales until it reached the base of his cock.

Grovyle's eyes strayed to look at the cock his hand slowly reached up to stroke, not shocked in the least at how it was almost a mirror image to his own, which was beginning to poke from his slit. The pokemon lifted his hand higher, rubbing the frills that ran up the side of Jake's cock, making him shiver with delight.

Jake's cock jumped as his sensitive frills met the pokemon's cool scales. It was even worse when Grovyle wrapped his paw around Jake's tip, a practical gold mine of sensitive frills for the pokemon to exploit, which he fully intended to do.

Grovyle of all pokemon knew exactly what Jake was going through, and just what could set him off. Keeping his one hand gently stroking the bumpy tip of Jake's member, the grass-type grabbed his own member and stroked it, panting with lust.

The trainer gasped and moaned from every touch from the pokemon, toes balled tight as his climax was all too close. Pre spewed from Jake's tip, barely making it an inch down before Grovyle's hands rubbed it into every pore between his frills, relishing the soft noises his trainer made with each stroke.

Grovyle felt Jake's cock throb with his heartbeat, and began to rub up and down both their shaft in long strokes, taking extra care around both their sensitive nubs at the sides of their rods with masterful dexterity.

He felt Jake's orgasm before he heard the trainer give a long exhale, cum springing up his shaft fast enough that the first string that escaped his tip caught Jake on the beak. Grovyle slowed down as Jake's orgasm shot his load over his belly.

Jake's leafy tails quivered as his orgasm tapered off, panting heavily. Every fiber of his being was alight from his climax, limbs relaxing as the last few shots of white seed landed on his slowly rising chest. It was the best orgasm Jake had had in a very long while, and he couldn't wait until his next.

As it would turn out, neither could Grovyle. Jake gasped as he felt Grovyle's warm tongue on his belly, licking the sticky cum from his green scales with a methodical slowness. The pokemon worked his way up Jake's body, leaving the scales in his wake shiny with his spit as he climbed onto him.

Grovyle's member quickly undid the pokemon's work, smearing his pre over Jake as his rear brushed against Jake's still-hard dick, sending another shiver up the trainer's back, only this time of anticipation. He felt his tip prod against the pokemon's pucker.

The pokemon laced his fingers in Jake's hands as he lowered himself onto Jake's pole, his ring opening to accept the red intruder into him with ease. The two cooed as one, Grovyle's cock jumping as he felt the trainer's frills rub against his inner walls.

Inching his way down, Grovyle spread himself wide on Jake's cock one centimeter at a time, gasping loudly with each new nub that pushed past his hole and scratched the itches he so badly longed for. Finally Grovyle reached Jake's knotted base, his ring kissing the top of the wide for a brief moment before his legs found purchase on the bed and he began to lift himself up.

Jake could hardly contain himself, the pokemon's insides were everything he could have hoped for. He squirmed underneath Grovyle as the pokemon slowly rose back up, a wet popping sound echoing under the blanket with each wide nub that slipped out of the pokemon's warm embrace.

The pokemon licked at Jake's beak, wiping the final string of cum from his first orgasm away as Grovyle pulled the trainer into a deep kiss.
