"writing": "Chapter 1: Monday\n\nIt finally happened: The Auditor and the AAHW (Agency Against Hank Wimbleton) have been taken down, and the Improbability Dive is no more. Setting everything right. Well, almost.\n\nAfter the fallout of everything that happened, Nevada, and probably the rest of the U.S, have been turned into a wasteland. And with no one to lead or control them, scavengers, rogues, and even zombies roam the land. Trying to make it in this new world.\n\nThree of these survivors were the ones who defeated the Auditor: Sanford, Deimos, and Hank J. Wimbleton. The last of which being considered Enemy Number One.\n\nSanford was the weapons expert, Deimos was the tech guy, and Hank was the powerhouse of the three. Being the one who delivered the final blow and ended the long and intense battle. But with the main threat gone, they still had to survive.\n\nThe three of them found on old motel to use as their base. Despite it being run-down, it still had food, power, warmth, and protection thanks to some dumpsters blocking the main entrance. It wasn’t perfect, but it was home to them.\n\nLately, however, supplies were running low. Through some radio transmissions, Deimos heard about a huge hoard of supplies that were only a klick north of the motel. Through the rumors, it was well-guarded. And those who dared to enter, they were never heard from again.\n\nOf course, Hank was skeptic at first. If this was true, why wasn’t there a bigger deal about this? Although, as supplies dropped dangerously low, it was worth a shot.\n\nAs Hank was getting a jeep ready for the journey, he was approached by Sanford. “Are you sure you want to go alone?” He asked.\n\n“I’m sure.” Hank replied. “I need you and Deimos to stay here in case anything happens.”\n\nSanford sighed. Knowing it was difficult to argue with Hank. “Alright. We’ll keep in touch.” He said. Hank nodded silently before getting back to work.\n\n[…]\n\nAbout 20 minutes later, Hank drove the jeep to supposed hoard’s location. Aside from a small radio to communicate with Sanford and Deimos, he brought a katana and a pistol with him for protection. A part of him still thought that this was a trap, but with almost no food left, it had to be worth the risk.\n\nDeimos managed to find the exact coordinates to the mysterious location. When Hank arrived, they led to a run-down house that would’ve been easy to miss due to it looking like the surrounding buildings. Hank got out of the jeep and turned on the radio. “I’m here.” He said.\n\n“Is anyone around?” Deimos’ voice asked.\n\n“Not on the outside.” Hank replied. “I’ll search for the hoard and take what I can. If it exists, that is…”\n\nHank turned the radio off and busted down the front door. Quickly drawing his pistol, he scanned the room. To his surprise, there wasn’t a soul to be seen. If it was dangerous as the rumors claimed, there had to be at least one person on guard. So either the rumors were false, or someone got here first. But if the latter was true, what happened to the bodies?\n\nJust as Hank was about to radio his allies back, he heard some creaking coming from the second floor. Readying his gun, he cautiously walked up the stairs to investigate. Each step he took made the stairs creak under his weight.\n\nWhen he reached the top, Hank looked around. All the doors were closed, but one of them had some light coming from underneath it. Walking up to it, he pressed his ear up to the door and listened carefully.\n\nNothing.\n\nMentally counting to three, Hank swung the door open with his pistol at the ready. However, he slowly lowered it when he saw what lied before him.\n\nWhile the room probably was a bedroom, it was being used as storage room. For what? So much. Shelves were stocked with food and water, crates of food and jugs of water were stacked, and there was even a section for medicine and other basic needs. “Holy shit…” Hank whispered before turning on his radio. “I found it.”\n\n“The hoard?” Asked Sanford. “It’s real?”\n\n“It’s real. And there’s so much.” Hank answered. “We’ll need to make a couple of trips to take all this back.”\n\n“Solid copy.” Deimos chimed in. “Take what you can for now.”\n\nBefore Hank could reply, he was suddenly kicked to the ground. “Hank? What’s going on?!” Sanford called out before being cut off.\n\nHank quickly got up and unsheathed his katana while aiming his pistol at his attacker. Only to become silent at what he saw. It was anthropomorphic white rabbit with one of its ears lopsided. It had red/orange eyes, and stitches on its torso and ear. Was it some kind of plush living plush?\n\nHe didn’t have any time to think as the rabbit pulled out a knife and clashed with his katana. “What the hell are you doing here?!” It exclaimed. Judging from the voice, it was a female.\n\n“Get off of me!” Hank yelled as he shoved her off.\n\nThe two opponents glared at each other. Waiting for the other to make a move. Slowly, as tensions lowered, the rabbit began dropping her guard. “What the…?” Hank muttered. Was this some kind of trick?\n\n“I’m sorry.” The rabbit apologized. “I… I overreacted.”\n\nHank slowly lowered his weapons. “I should be apologizing.” He explained. “I heard rumors of a cache of supplies here. We were running low on ours’.”\n\nThe rabbit raised an eyebrow. “We?” She repeated. “There’s more of you? You’re not with the raiders, are you?”\n\nHank shook his head. “No, we’re not like them.” He said before reaching out his hand. “I’m Hank.”\n\nThe rabbit hesitated a bit, but shook Hank’s hand. “Bunny.” She introduced.\n\nThe two now-frenemies let go. “I can’t believe I still get raided.” Bunny continued. “Despite everything, they won’t give up until they either take everything I have, or kill me. Maybe both.”\n\n“Well, you’re welcome to stay with us then.” Said Hank.\n\nBunny didn’t like that at all. “I can handle myself!” She exclaimed angrily before sighing and calming down. “Sorry. No one ever showed kindness to me before I came here.”\n\nHank was confused. “What do you mean?” He asked.\n\n“Don’t worry about it; it’s a long story.” Bunny replied. “But… Where did you come from?”\n\n“A motel about a mile from here.” Hank explained. “There’s only three of us, but we can manage.”\n\nBunny took some time to think it over before making her decision. “I’ll go.” She said. “You’d better not be lying.”\n\n“I’m not.” Hank stated. “Grab a crate and we’ll head out.”\n\n[…]\n\nOn the drive back to the motel, Bunny sat in the passenger seat as a crate of food and some supplies was strapped in the back of the jeep. At first, it was silent. But finally, Bunny spoke up. “Are you sure it’s safer?” She asked.\n\n“Aside from a food shortage, we haven’t had a lot of problems since moving there.” Hank replied. “It also has power thanks to a generator in the basement.”\n\n“Not even a raider?”\n\n“We rarely deal with them.”\n\nUpon arrival to the motel, Hank parked the jeep outside and honked the horn before he and Bunny got out. “Open the gates!” Hank called out as Bunny unloaded the crate.\n\nAfter a while, one of the dumpsters that was used as the entrance was pushed out of the way by Sanford. “There you are!” He said. “Deimos and I have been trying to get a hold of you!”\n\n“I’m fine.” Hank replied. “I also found a survivor.”\n\nJust as Sanford was about to ask what Hank meant, he noticed Bunny pushing the crate towards them. “Uh…” He muttered. “Who is that?”\n\n“That’s Bunny. She was in the house with all that stuff.” Hank explained. “She’s been fighting off raiders, so we know she can defend herself.”\n\nSanford turned to Bunny. “Hey. I’m Sanford.” He introduced. Bunny nodded silently and pushed the crate into the safety of the motel’s walls. “Uh… Nice talkin’ to ya.”\n\n[…]\n\nInside one of the rooms, Hank, his allies, and Bunny were all looking through the crate after Bunny was introduced to Deimos. “Holy shit, that’s a shit ton of supplies!” Sanford remarked.\n\n“No kidding!” Deimos added. “At least we know why the rumors were so popular.”\n\nHank turned to Bunny who was looking down at the floor in silence. As if something was on her mind. “Are you okay?” He asked.\n\n“I’m fine.” Bunny answered flatly as she looked at Hank. “I told you I can handle myself.”\n\n“I just want to know if you’ll be okay if we move everything here.” Hank added.\n\n“That’s sounds good.” Bunny replied. “It should wait until tomorrow, though. It’s been a long day.”\n\nDeimos yawned. “You can say that again!” He said. “Sanford, you want to go with me in the morning?”\n\n“Sure.” Sanford replied as the four of them finished unpacking the crate.\n\nLater that night, Bunny was led to her own room which was right next to Hank. “It’s not much, but it’s better than what you had before.” Hank pointed out.\n\nBunny was silent. “Uh… Goodnight.” Hank finished before turning to walk out, but Bunny’s voice stopped him.\n\n“Wait.” She said. Hank turned back around. “…Thank you.”\n\n“You’re welcome.” Hank replied before exiting the room. Leaving Bunny alone with her thoughts.\n\n‘Anyone else would’ve tried and killed me, but… He didn’t.’ She thought. ‘Why did I spare him?’\n\nBunny lied down on the bed and closed her eyes. ‘I have to tell him everything tomorrow.’ She mentally continued. ‘He has to know.’\n\nChapter 1 END",
