During all this trials and tests, There was someone that was always in the background, watching. M.e.i, short for Multitasking electronic interface.
These advanced A.I's capable of taking physical forms predated the brand new artifices by a couple of years, and they were a true marvel. Programable feelings and personalities, customizable bodies...the science of 2037 was truly incredible.
This particular M.e.i never took her eyes off of the new creation, she felt incredibly attracted to it...being integrated to the facility's software itself, it wasn't hard for her to look at Mirai through the cameras and monitors. She developed a deep feeling for Mirai, a very powerful attraction.
When Mirai turned 9 and began leading a more normal life in a household provided by the higher ups, with a fake family to go with it, M.e.i couldn't help but feel down. A sad machine, the subject of so much curiosity and attraction was now gone. In a pretty bold move, M.e.i Asked Hyperion for a day out with Mirai, she needed permission to pass through the facility's firewall and physically leave.
There have been quite a few changes in dynamics in the late 2040's, so the higher ups agreed. A very Excited M.e.i took her favorite shape, and went to Mirai's new household. She couldn't contain her joy seing her again, even though Mirai never really knew about her. They hung out and became very good friends that day, and with Mirai's parents permission, they decided to go out. The afternoon started with some shopping at the nearby mega mall, some arcade games, and a little walk through the waterfront. M.e.i recalled a little piece of information out of the billions she processed every morning, and told Mirai that the amusement park was having a special discount that day, and that they could go. All this time M.e.i acted really shy and submissive, her programmed personality made it slightly hard for her to interact with others without blushing and looking away. Mirai happily agreed, and they went.
Little by little, as the day went by, they got closer and closer, they had a lot of fun together getting on various rides and attractions. By the end of the day, before they left, they decided it was a good idea to go into the photo booth, so they could keep a little memento of this wonderfully fun day. Once in there, little by little, Mirai started getting lewder bit by bit....
M.e.i almost completely shut down after that session, she was so incredibly happy, recieving some love from the subject she always felt so attracted to. They went back to Mirai's house, and things got even lewder, and hotter for the night.
Eventually, an agent came pick the A.i up, signaling the end of her day out...it will most likely not be her last, specially after how much she enjoyed it....
