This falls under fair use as I am criticizing said image, additionally as I will show, the main focus of the image (and likely much of the rest) was not drawn by him and thus he has no copyright to it.
I tried to reach out to this user first, he refused to comply with my take down request and altered the image in his gallery to attempt to hide his shameless tracing, also trying to add credit to me after the fact even though I gave no permission. Then he whined and complained that I wanted it removed, trying to justify his actions even after I made it very clear I just wanted it gone.
The images pretty much speak for themselves, but let me say this: to trace someone work like this and post it as your own is so shameless and scummy, but the fact this work was paid for by another person just adds another layer of disgusting. And this "artist" (more of a con artist) is also selling commissions here on this site, most of which are probably also traced since it's clear he can't do much without tracing (see image 3 if you want some proof). People like this who leech off of real artists and rip off commissioners are, in my opinion, the bottom of the barrel of humanity. I have already sent a message to moderation staff, so please don't clog up the system with reports UNLESS you know the source of other traced work in his gallery, as I can tell some of it is traced but don't know the source. I also ask not to harass this poor talent-and-moral-deficient individual, but I think the "method" of his art should be understood. Especially since he's trying to rip people off.
Edit: Just to clarify, the coward blocked me and posted a journal I can't respond to. I have not blocked him, but he doesn't seem to want to try to defend himself directly to me (because he has no defense). He also immediately tried changing his name to distance himself from the theft, not knowing how that functions on IB, so if that doesn't scream guilty I don't know what does. It's also kind of hilarious.
