Shadow Hearts of matrimony by ~Hybasha The sun radiating a cheerful glow Over a church as white and pure as snow People anxiously waiting in the pews The reverend in golden robes stood at the alter A woman in a white gown and veil walked As she moved down the aisle the sun began to fade When she reached the reverend everything had been engulfed in darkness The reverend glowed last till she whispered in his ear News so dark his eyes now drain of holy bliss And darkened his robes into the black of sorrows In a room of the once noble church lays a man Who wore a jet black suit on it lay a withered flower In place with his heart two sinful bullets lat their mark Tears ran down the woman’s face Her masquera twisting her pure face to a thing of horror The masquera transforming her dress of innocence into death A day of what seemed the longest day Now engulfed in the darkness of endless night
