"...What?" I gave him a stern look, he looked away and kept walking, sweat pouring down his face, he panted like the pack mule he was. I too was sweating though; my pretty fur was being matted with icky sweat! It could not be helped, no matter where we went the heat would not let up with the shade providing little comfort from the summer. While others made conversation I looked over to him again, he was huffing and puffing like the rest but even now he is still so cute! Those floppy ears, that cute demeanour of his when he gets embarrassed or stressed...those gorgeous eyes... Now he is looking again "...What?" one of those in front stopped "Hey! Don't talk to my brother that way!" I looked ahead and saw him, Azulin, looking at me, clearly not happy with how I've been treating his sibling, if only he was as timid "Do I have to mess up that pretty face again?" I looked away "No..." he got closer "Who are you to say I shouldn't? Want to keep that mediocre mug only helped by that bow-tie the same? Stop being rude to my brother then" he turned around and kept walking, the others didn't so much gawk as they probably savoured the moment of rest, still on their feet, but it was a moment to stop and catch a breath. Gordi, the one I have the deepest of feelings for hurried up to Azulin and giggled, they both talked as we trekked, sharing playful words of encouragement with each other, that should be me! But it's so hard to approach a bear like him without looking like a freak though. Being into a fat pig who is so timid and not tough, or beautiful, cute, manly. It's what the others would think and I wish I didn't care, but I really do. They would see me as a weirdo if I started hitting on him or trying to get close, everyone but his bro see him as a joke who carries our medicine and food. Again I stared at the back of his head and I felt a nudge "You really don't like him huh? Least he is the one carrying the crap we eat!" I wanted to shove Pandi over for what he said! "No, I just...you're right, he is a good walking backpack!" he let out a laugh. I felt some guilt saying that but I had to keep these feelings to myself. For now... The bear troops set up camp and unpacked their tents and gear, after Gordi set down the porridge mix. He and Achuchones were asked to scout out for additional fruit or game by Coco, not as an order but as a request, even he, being as stoic as he was made it clear he was sick of the same thing every day. While both were scouting Achuchones still had Gordi racing through his head, he had to come up with a way to get Gordi alone with him. After a few minutes of searching both got tired quickly with the bowed bear sitting on a rock, he looked around and took in the silence, still planning to get with Gordi of course but he had to admit for all of the hardships they faced in their travels he liked how pretty the Forest was. Gordi came along too not looking at him when he entered and looked up to the sky, the trees and branches shaped like jagged ladders lead their attention to the glowing moon. "Wow, its beautiful!" even now Gordi was trying to keep his mood up, not letting the earlier incidents get to him. Achuchones looked down, guilt filling him and his bladder "Gordi? My feet are killing me" he slipped of his right boot and placed it aside "Ah, much better..." he got up and walked ahead, unzipping his pants. He looked back and saw Gordi staring at the moon, he wanted Gordi to look at him while he was urinating, he needed that attention "Hey! Are you looking at my cock?" "What?" Gordi looked at him, confused "Are you looking at my dick?!?" "What? No! No not at all!" however Gordi did look down "Ah hah! I knew it! "Look out!" he looked down and saw a small lizard creature approach, he had read that many creatures who are comfortable getting near the bears are either harmless or poisonous and he wasn't going to take his chances! Achuchones swiftly backed away, took out his knife and stabbed the creature through the head, Gordi rushed over "Are you okay?" he looked at Gordi and smiled "Yes! And look! We got something else to eat tonight!" he clapped and giggled, but looked down again, "Umm, Achuchones...your umm..." he looked away blushing. Achuchones very carefully thought about what he was going to say or do, so with a free hand he tucked his member away and zipped it up "Sorry!" he began walking to the camp when he realized that this was his chance; to get closer to Gordi. "You know: technically WE caught this little guy together! How about we eat it! Just the two of us!" the floppy eared bear looked uncertain "But didn't Coco ask us to bring it back for everyone?" "Oh come on, Gordi!" again he considered what he was gonna say next and how he would "We have been eating the same thing for months, would it not be nice to have half each? It could easily feed us for the night!" he looked down a little unsure "And this could be my way, of saying sorry" Gordi looked at him then back to the camp in the distance, he felt bad about only keeping it between them but he had to admit, the porridge they had every day was not enough to fill him up, and it was also a gesture by someone who had treated him rather harshly for seemingly no reason, he relented "Okay, but how can we cook it away from them?" Achuchones led him further out and made a small fire that would only need to be used for 2 or 3 minutes. Keeping the flame and smoke down was tough but they managed to hastily cook the lizard and split it evenly, as expected Gordi took a big bite and Achuchones stared at him, Gordi took notice and looked away shyly "Pretty good right? It's a nice change from what we usually have..." he too took a few bites, it wasn't the tastiest meat he had but it was preferable to the alternative "So Achuchones, why were you so mean to me before? We are all out here alone, with each other. I don't like the idea of us being enemies with each other when there are the Unicorns and uh" Gordi motioned to his half of the lizard "little guys like these around, shouldn't we get along?" now Achuchones was feeling it, feeling like a piece of shit for how he was before "I'm sorry Gordi I just couldn't...it's hard to explain but I have never hated you, Gordi. I actually quite like you" his heart was racing, why did he say that? It was the time but- "Okay, but why act like you were rude then? I don't hate you, I just thought you were cranky at first because of how hard boot camp was and didn't give it any mind. When we started travelling I thought you'd be nicer even though this stuff isn't any easier" "Truthfully I always tried to bring you aside and know more about you, like I did with the others" nice save, he thought "but your brother would always get in the way. I too thought he would ease up after our fight but no, he has been the same since." Gordi finished his part of the meal and got up "We should go back soon. Azulin is a very good brother even if he is mean sometimes, he really cares for me and doesn't see others as important even in a place like this. I'm sorry for how he is but you made a pretty bad first impression, you started that fight" Achuchones looked down "Well he exposed that you were a bed wetter! Isn't that bad?" Gordi sighed "There are some things you don't know about my brother and I'm not going into it now. It was terrible what he did but..." he paused for a while thinking of what to say "If we get another chance to be alone like this, I'll tell you okay? And as for trying to make up for how you were before, I didn't really give it any mind and assumed you just didn't like me. I was more worried about being ambushed by the Unicorns or any other beast here. But thanks" he went back to camp. Achuchones quickly finished his own meal and went for the nightly porridge, it would seem strange to reject their daily meal when they had eaten nothing all day, of course Gordi was there eating his share too. After they all said their goodnights and shared hugs with each other they settled down for the night. Achuchones laid in his tent, alone wondering if he could masturbate without making too much noise, there was no noise other than snoring and some quiet nature, occasional bird calls and insect scattering. He unzipped and pulled off his pants & underwear and unbuttoned his shirt and lifted up his vest. He couldn't help but feel up his fluffy body, grabbing handfuls of it and running them down to his stomach "Oh Gordi; what I would give to have you run your hands over me!" he bit his bottom lip and gripped his dick. All that went through the green bears mind was Gorid in various states of undress and sex, every few strokes he could almost hear Gordi call out his name in delight, the fact he was so much fatter than the others wasn't a big deal to him, he thought it was kind of cute and it made his ass quite a bit bigger. Once he was done he doused his crotch area in some water and wiped with his vest. When morning came they woke up and set off again, Gordi looked over to Achuchones and waved, he waved back and smiled. The day continued as the last; the scenery changed as they went deeper into the jungles of the Forest but had no change in what went on, although some made small talk Achuchones was especially silent looking down most of the time. When the sun was at its highest the heat was weighing them down, though a nearby river helped. Before continuing their trek Azulin called the group over to a strange colourful bug, it was fatty and felt soft but offered a bit of resistance when squeezed, while the Sergeant congratulated and thanked him on his find although the priest had a different view. After the struggle between them they all decided to feast on the bugs when night fell, until then the creatures remained in their pockets or back packs squirming around, it tickled some of them. When night came they gathered around a fire and began their feast, first downing their porridge quickly to get to their glowing squirming dessert. As each one bit down they were both caught in a great and terrible high, Achuchones felt his form first go soft as marshmallow, then as time seemed to go on a great pink beast approached; its features adorned with sharp bones protruding from every corner and a mouth filled with razor sharp teeth. It began chomping down on him and he could do nothing, his knife was in his tent and so were his arrows, all he could do was scream and cry as he was consumed by an alien being that had complete control over him, though he didn't feel pain he saw himself turn into a mist of green and red climbing down the beasts throat. In the pit of the beasts stomach his form scrambled itself into something he was more used to, he also saw a familiar looking figure, it was the one he had been crushing on! By now he started to piece together that this was not the normal world but was some odd place that could only contain this kind of horror, the sensations and fears were real, but the pain? He felt nothing despite seeing himself land on his feet from a long fall into a monster. By this point he had figured if he can't feel pain then he can't feel anything in this state and what he saw probably...might not be real so; it couldn't hurt to go up to the figure of the one he had been going after, both love and lust wise. Surely it's fine if he gets...'intimate' with a visage of the one he had crushed on? He pushed Gordi to the fleshy ground and began deep kissing him, Gordi bit on his lips and he backed away, this time it hurt. Now feeling more scared Achuchones slapped him across the face and pushed him on his side, he hurriedly stripped him and got a good look at his wide behind and small penis, despite all the terrible stuff going on around him, being inside a strange beast he finally ahd what he wanted; if he was going to die he was going to die having fun! For what felt like the longest amount of time he would mount and jerk-off the visage of the larger pink bear, he found it to be incredibly cathartic, even if this wasn't really happening he didn't care, it just felt good and was what he needed after these past few days. ...Huh? The cracks of the sky through the leaves above me lead to a dull view, it was grey and the small openings I saw led to water slipping through, it was raining. I was very cold and my clothes were mostly off, except for my shirt, didn't I get consumed by something? No, it was those weird bug things, they tasted like blood and made me see terrible things. Well almost terrible things, sure the monster was scary but I saw HIM there. Wait, I see him now, stripped to nothing covered in...oh my god. Did we...? Gordi woke up to an intense pain in his lower back and felt a dry, crusty substance on his body, he looked over and saw Achuchones quickly dressing himself and wiping himself down with the rain. He tried to get up but the pain was sharp and he quickly tumbled down on his knees, letting out a shout, Achuchones turned his head slightly, he could just pretend he didn't hear him. "Oooooh, Achuchones..." He turned back and walked over to Gordi, holding his arms and lifting him up, the rain was starting to wash away the thick stains from last nights...what would you even call it? "Oh...why does it hurt so much back there?" he looked to the green bear, fur and form darkened by the grey morning "Well Gordi...those things we ate made us see things...and I uh, I saw a monster..." he picked up Gordi's uniform and handed it to him. Gordi struggled to get the wet clothes on but managed "I saw a big scary monster too. One moment I was in a pretty field full of blueberries then next I was attacked and..." he started to shake. Achuchones looked away, the others were staring to gear up too. "It's okay Gordi, we just had a bad trip is all, at least we're safe!" he couldn't tell him, not now at least "Oh, yeah. Safe...maybe we shouldn't eat those things again" Achuchones nodded "Never again. I thought they would just taste good, you know?" Gordi, despite the pain he was feeling in his lower back, smiled and they both began following the others. Ahead they found the remains of Gemelos & Mimosín, one mutilated and the other hanged. While it was a huge hit to moral and there was some drama, they had to keep going, they were getting very close. When they reached the camp of the Owl group they saw a horrific sight of blood and rot, of mutilated bodies tarnished by the unmerciful, cruel actions of the Unicorns, with heavy fog that did nothing to obscure such sights. While everyone panicked Coco saw a great light ahead, it was a Unicorn doing god knows what. He motioned the others to fire a hail of arrows and they did, it could barely move after being pierced all over, it kicked away Sonrisas knocking several teeth out and crushing his skull, eyes popping out. Pandi too was killed, being knocked down and had his head caved in by a harsh stomp, Coco shot a final arrow into its neck and it collapsed. "Good its down! Let's cut it open and drink its blood!" Azulin was drooling. A great light formed around the Unicorns corpse and many loud wails echoed around them. Everyone panicked and got into the same position they did before, again Coco signalled the attack but this time none were seriously injured or felled, they charged in and made short work of Sonrisas and Blackie; impaling them and tossing them aside effortlessly, they charged and impaled Sergeant Caricias next, who tried to cowardly run away but he was thrown aside as if it was nothing either. The Unicorns all charged at Gordi but Azulin shoved him aside, now there was Coco & Achuchones who together charged them, despite each landing a good stab on one Unicorn it thrashed and both were knocked back, with Coco being sliced across the chest by its horn. While the four backed off the Priest walked forward and pulled a grenade from his inner pocket and whispered a quick prayer, the Unicorns saw this and all charged straight for him. Pulling the pin he wished the rest of them many blessings and the dead glory from God, he and the Unicorns soon exploded in an intense cloud of harsh black and orange, the smoke and natural fog congealing to further obscure the sights all around them. They checked on Pandi to see if his inury wasn't as bad, he was not breathing. Blackie's body was in a terrible state and too was not drawing breath. They started off in a random direction before Achuchones corrected them to go the way they came in, while he, Gordi and Azulin suffered a few bruises Coco was in a bad way; every few steps more blood would seep out of the cut on his body and down his helmet "Stop! I need to...lie down for a minute" he backed against a tree and slumped down "Just give me a minute..." he let out a groan and held his wound. Gordi panicked and rushed over to him "It's not looking good, what do we do?" Achuchones looked back and motioned him to keep going "C'mon we can keep going! If we get out a bit further we can patch him up!" Azulin looked at him then back to Coco "No. We leave him here; he is too injured and won't survive" Gordi looked at him shocked "What? No we must take him with us! It's important we all make it out!" they all heard the cries of more Unicorns approaching. Gordi backed up from Coco "What do we do?" Azulin looked at him then pulled out his knife "Perhaps we should give him a...quicker end" he walked over, Achuchones got in his way "What are you doing? Okay if we have to leave him we do, but why would you-" "Do you want him to suffer? Look at him, he can barely keep his eyes open. Imagine what a Unicorn let alone a bunch of them could do!" he pushed him out of the way and approached Coco. The knife plunged into his arm "Whoops! I meant to hit a vital spot" coco screamed out and the calls of the Unicorns grew louder and closer "Shit, looks like this'll have to be a quick one" he stabbed the open wound and dragged it across his body, Coco could not let out another scream as blood filled his lungs. The other two stood there shocked "Lead the way Achuchones, you seem to know the way out" he stared a few more seconds at the corpse before turning around. The three of them ran as fast as they could, their loud footsteps echoing all around them, they did not know the distance they ran but it was far enough from any danger, they thought. Azulin started a small fire and Achuchones started crying, Gordi moved over and hugged him "We lost everyone! Everyone! They are all dead and we're next!" Gordi couldn't help but let out a few tears too. Azulin looked at them then to the fire "This won't be it, I will make it out of here, I will be fine" Achuchones spoke up "Y-You killed Coco! What do you mean "I"? You alone will make it?" Azulin stood up "You know Achuchones, I didn't like Coco and I don't like you, if you want to stay alive keep your mouth shut" Gordi stopped hugging Achuchones "Azulin, all of our friends just died! Why are you still thinking of what bad thing they did before!" "Watch it Gordi, I saved you back there! He and Coco couldn't keep themselves safe when they charged a Unicorn" Achuchones sniffed and wiped his eyes "You didn't even scratch any of the Unicorns, even your brother hit 2 of them with an arrow! You're trying to boast in a time like this?" he wanted to shout at the crying mess but felt an intense rumble "We have eaten nothing all day..." Gordi pulled out a small piece of the pie he was given "We have this-" "Oh that's great Gordi! Lets each have half!" he broke it in half and handed a piece to Achuchones "Huh that's weird, well you do need to lose weight!" "No Azulin, you don't get any." he had an unreadable expression on his face "Haha, okay. Okay" he began walking into the night "I'll hunt the biggest game! You'll both beg me to have some!" and with that he set off. Achuchones looked ahead worried "Should I just give him my piece Gordi? I don't like the idea of losing another" Gordi looked at him and smiled "Azulin is many things, but he isn't weak! I'm sure he...he will..." Gordi began crying "Oh Achuchones, why?" he hugged Gordi but was soon pushed backwards "No! You..." he backed away "You knew what you were doing" oh no, that feeling of guilt was building, but so was a deep worry "W-What do you mean Gordi?" He couldn't help but let the tears flow "Everyone is dead! And you..." he started breathing heavily "When we ate those weird bugs, I just blacked out soon after eating one, but when I woke up...and you were quickly dressing yourself...you hurt me..." "Gordi, I promise you I didn't mean to hurt you...but I wasn't being honest. I saw myself being eaten alive by a monster and you were in its belly. I thought I was going to die so I...if this was it I thought I may as well...sorry" he shamefully looked down. "You may as well?" "Please don't hate me, please Gordi I'm really, really sorry" he began tearing up again. They stayed quiet for a moment "We better eat these before he gets back." Gordi meekly said, they quickly downed the small portion of blueberry pie, it still tasted fine if damp from the rain before. They added some more to the fire and soon rested for the night, no goodnight wished this time. Azulin was out in the near pitch black, he somehow got his blade, still coated in Cocos blood in some creature and started voraciously eating it, even with how far out he was the fire was visible 'probably should have cooked it' he thought, well there was still a good chunk of it. When he got back he saw they were already sleeping, it was a long, terrible day. Azulin could feel his emotions well up but held back his tears and just cooked, this isn't the end it's just an obstacle, tomorrow or the day after they'd be back at camp, they would be heroes! But right now? Things were bad, very bad. Morning came again and the moment Achuchones started to wake Azulin demanded he lead them out of the Forest "Well first I would like to eat something, I am really hungry!" Gordi handed over his helmet filled with some wild fruits "You do know the way back yes?" through chewing and happy moans Achuchones clarified "Yes! Even if I didn't have the map I wrote down every checkpoint and stop we made and committed it to memory!" Azulin snatched up some of the food "Well? Ready to lead on?" he frowned and got up. He pulled the map from his pocket and showed it to the others "If we head back this way we could clear past where we ate those bug things" Gordi gathered up more fruits and water and from a small bag he fashioned from some leaves he handed it to Azulin "Since you didn't help with the food collection, you carry it!" he grunted but accepted "That means I pick out the food first" the journey back was much faster than it was getting there, they lost their luggage but had far less to weigh them down. When they got to the spot with the glowing bugs Gordi slowed down "Getting tired Gordi? Why don't we rest and eat here?" Azulin put the leaf bag down and opened it, all of the fruit spilling out in a display of every color imaginable. Azulin took a handful of orange cloves and walked ahead "I'll see if I can get some meat for us." Achuchones looked at Gordi and smiled "Thanks for getting all these!" he ate a few of the fruits while Gordi just drank some water and looked in Azulins direction. So many thoughts were racing through his head and he didn't know how to even begin talking about his thoughts. "Achuchones...about before" he choked on his food "Before? You mean-" "Yes, back here, that night. Ever since you touched me, violated me that night I keep thinking about it" now he had stopped eating, they sat there for several minutes in silence, Azulin still not coming back to break it. "Do you have ANYTHING to say?" another minute of quiet passed "S-Sorry-" "Something else! Anything! Stop apologizing and tell me why you did it!" Achuchones looked away "Well I" he gulped "You see back whe-" "Out with it! Why? Look at me Achuchones! Look at me!" he turned back "Because I love you!" Gordi quickly got on his feet and jumped over, pinning the confessor to the ground "You LOVE ME? After what you did?" he had his hands around his neck "NO! Before I did that I...I had feelings for you since camp. You were always so nice to me, you never let anything get to you. You are so beautiful, you have deep, lovely eyes. You are the cutest bear I've met. You are much better at surviving too! Oh Gordi I loved you the moment I saw you but never got a real chance to say anything. When I saw you there, in that vision I had you looked so inviting and beautiful, you looked so pure and inviting" Gordi grabbed his head and brought him in for a deep kiss, grabbing tufts of Achuchones fur behind his head and he in turn held Gordi's head in his hands and rubbed then all over. For what seemed like hours was only a few seconds, when they let go of each other drool and spit went down their chins "Don't you know? You're supposed to kiss someone if you love them~" "I tried that but you bit my lips when I did the first time" "The time I was not awake?" "Yes...I didn't mean to hurt you, you were...irresistible." Gordi got up and grabbed some food "You really want to make it up to me? Take me out to a date then. Show me you really care by doing things normally and I might forgive you." Achuchones eyes widened, their conversation was cut short when Azulin returned empty handed "Okay, I got nothing, can I have some of what you guys have?" Achuchones handed over the bag and he snatched it "Thanks" When they had finished their meal Gordi scouted for some more food to take along with them "He's reliable isn't he? I guess someone was listening during their foraging lessons!" Azulin looked at Achuchones and frowned "You mocking me?" "What? No, I'm saying your brother is very reliable, why would I mock you?" Azulin let out a 'Hmph' and they waited in silence. When Gordi came back they set off back to camp, while things were tense on their way back every now and then Gordi would look at Achuchones and smile, he would smile back, if only they could talk alone, but how would they get Azulin to go away? After more hours of trekking the sky began to darken, both for the time of day and weather. When they came to a small clearing they saw it was the first spot they ahd stopped at, the one where if you walked out you'd see those trees leading up to the moon. The group built a very basic dry enough tent out of leaves, vines and sticks and twigs that were tied up and bound over and over so while the rain would seep through the first few, the sticks underneath would absorb them, the place smelled awful "We haven't cleaned ourselves in days, should we just keep going after a break, or wait until morning?" Gordi asked "If it stops raining after a few minutes we could risk it" Gordi and Achuchones looked at Azulin "It's night and it could be dangerous, but we survived so much! I say if this rain stops we tough out the Forest at night and get back by dawn" they didn't know if they should agree or not. The worst danger they had already faced and it was one that didn't seem to carry itself anywhere near the camp, or the bears in general, anything else out there couldn't match either due to their training. The rain did stop after a few minutes and once their bellies were filled Azulin stepped out "Well, you two coming?" "We can't" Azulin looked at Achuchones and got angry "Why not? We are so close aren't we?" "First off, it took us from the crack of dawn until it was night to get here, secondly we stopped only at night because he couldn't take any kind of light with us. If we get blind-sided by something used to the dark that'll be it for us" "Okay. Since you're so scared and know where to go even without looking at the map give it to me and I'll find my own way back!" he walked over "Please Azulin; we will get out of here I promise but can we do it when we can see where we're going?" Gordi stepped out now "Get back in the tent and sleep with us, you're not going to go back at this time of night" "Who are you to tell me where I can't go?" Gordi hugged him "I don't want to lose you too, Azulin. Please don't make me worry" he tensed up but returned the hug "Fine. First thing when I wake up though, you both go on my lead or I'll leave you two behind" 'What drama queens' thought Achuchones. Morning broke and as all of the days before they set off, the same repetitive walks through long stretches of the Forest, but this would be the day they got back. Aside from some pit stops for water and rest their journey was a surprisingly short one and when they got back to the camp it was late noon. There many soldiers were both happy and shocked at the return of only 3 from what was a larger group. Azulin explained everything and they were all seen to, first being able to eat some more porridge, of course, but were also giving many congratulations and honors by the General. They had 2 choices: head home for a while and come back, starting at a higher rank, or stay and immediately be promoted. Azulin & Gordi said they wanted to see how their father was doing and Achuchones said he wanted to see if his folks were all right without him. The General understood their concerns and allowed them a leave for up to a year, after that they would either have to come back or be honorably discharged. Allowed some time to wait for their families to come Azulin decided to talk with the guys he got to know outside of their platoon and brag about his exploits and how he pulled through and brought those 3 back. Gordi took Achuchones to a more secluded spot and handed him 2 pieces of paper "I asked for documents with our addresses. I was serious about before; if you want to make it up to me you'll..." he looked away, clearly embarrassed "If you want to, you can take me out somewhere. I don't want to hate you Achuchones. My first time was to be with someone special to me, someone who I could see myself spending my life with. The fact I couldn't even experience it...But I don't control you and I don't want to. This whole thing was a disaster, our friends are dead and we have nothing to show for it" he teared up "So if one thing can come of this, please, PLEASE let it be something I know won't also go." Achuchones leaned in and hugged him "I was not lying to you, Gordi. The moment I saw you, it was like a dream. Your body? Your weight? It didn't put me off, you have always been so sweet and caring, you have lovely eyes. You were nice to me even after I made fun of your brother. Despite everything that happened you haven't given up in any way. Your brother very clearly is putting up a front but you? You really believed we could make it and be safe. There is so much to love about you, anyone would be lucky to have you. That night...what I did. It was lust fueled by my sheer love for you." Gordi leaned in too and pecked him on the lips. "You don't seem to be lying. Okay, when we all get back home mail me and we can set up a place to meet up at. You don't have to do anything other than pick a place, us going together will be enough. You are sweet Achuchones, don't make me see this any other way, okay?" he hugged him and they went back to camp, the outskirts already had their folks there to pick them up. The 3 of them waved to each other and to the soldiers who recognized them, some they didn't know wished them good luck and also for their return. Whereas the two brothers headed home with their dad Achuchones was picked up by his parents who escorted him back to his place, they got in and talked for hours about how terrible it all was but how they made it back in the end. When night fell they left and he was alone. Achuchones couldn't help but replay those moments of closeness with Gordi, now thinking as to how he can make him truly love him. For now he finally laid in a bed for once and slipped into slumber. This deep anxiety would not go away, did I do the right thing? Eventually they will know. He really cares about me, but can I truly care back? I've never felt this way before and it seems not to be affected by what he did to me. I turned over to my brother "Azulin?" he turned to me, smiling "Yes, dear brother?" I couldn't believe I was going to ask him of all people "Have you ever...felt love before?" he looked at me, turned back around in his own bed, and stifled a giggle. Yeah, this was gonna be hard.
