Syn and a pair of kittens

Late on a Wednesday night Syn walks down a sidewalk. The sidewalk is covered with cracks and covered in dirt and dust. He stops and takes a breath of the cool night air and looks around seeing no one around and smiles “It’s so nice being out at night like this. No one around to bother me.” he says as he walks under the street lights. Behind him two small figures step out of an alley and walk up behind him.
