Kioshi the Riolu, Ramona the Alligator, and Anastasia the Glaceon are intending to explore a poorly mapped tomb in a nearby pyramid. The trio were busy discussing what they may find inside the tomb. Kioshi was intending to document as much as she could, Anastasia went on her usual spiel of what she could do with the riches found inside, while Ramona simply wanted to tag along for her own reasons.
As much as Kioshi wanted to ensure the entire team worked as one unit, she simply couldn't trust her partner Anastasia with this one. So instead of going in as a trio, Kioshi decided that she and Ramona would take off in the middle of the night without letting Anastasia know. It was a mischievous and childish move, but neither she nor Ramona wanted that greedy Glaceon and her stupid schemes to bother them this time around.

Anastasia eventually wakes up to see that her leader and the client are nowhere to be found. The Glaceon wasn't really surprised at the sight, easily brushing it off as another one of those stupid "tactics", so she decides to play catch up by simply following the duo's footsteps to the tomb.
But before she could begin, Ana grabbed something from her backpack to make her entrance a bit more... "exciting"...

Kioshi and Ramona give a snicker as they burrow through a small hole on the side of the pyramid. They knew Anastasia would wake up soon, so they made double time to ensure they stayed ahead.
The riolu used her raw strength to dig the hole and smash any stubborn stones apart, Ramona assists by turning a mass of liquid gold to a shovel to assist in the digging, and as an egyptian goddess herself pointing Kioshi in the right direction to ensure they're on the right track without hitting any vital points.
The rocks in front of Kioshi collapse, opening a path through a dark and barren hallway. Ramona's directions helped them skip most of the tomb's traps, granting easy access without issue.
The main corridor features a stone arch bridge lined with statues on either side leading to a giant sarcophagus at the end, perhaps the pharaoh of the tomb itself. Kioshi and Ramona have successfully found the lost tomb with surprising speed.
However, their quick victory is short-lived; several small flying saucers come out from the darkness and quickly encircle the intruders with blistering speed. The saucers acted like a swarm of oversized bees to the naked eye. Ramona jokingly thought it was the tomb's security systems, but Kioshi knew who these white saucers belonged to...
Anastasia easily tracked and caught up to them with her Tape Drones and all the noise the two have caused, stepping onto the bridge with a smug smile. With a press of a button, her Tape Drones are ordered to detain the two.
Ramona the Alligator attempts to form a golden sword in preparation for a counter attack. A trail of tape quickly tugs her arm behind her back as it circles around her torso. Her legs are pinned before she could find a way to counteract, followed by another trail wrapping her mouth shut! The tape drones quickly overwhelm Ramona before she knew it!
Kioshi gives off a loud shout as she swings her Shadow Katana. She scores two hits in one swing, but another saucer takes advantage and strap her arm to her side in sticky tape. Kioshi tries to form a Shadow Shuriken, only to notice her hands already balled up from the tape, preventing her from forming one. Kioshi whips her arm to drag one of the tape drones around like a flail. She planted her legs to counteract the force of her arm; but her legs are already pinned together with more tape, causing the riolu to topple over and plop to the ground. The tape drones then gain altitude and hang their victim on display as she squirms to break free.
The tape's grip is far too strong to overcome, both Kioshi and Ramona are unable to break free anytime soon. Anastasia snickers at the two, leaving them to squirm and struggle for her own amusement.
As Anastasia readies to take the artifact for herself, she sees an odd red glow coming from her tape drones' sensors. Perhaps she forgot to recharge her tape drones earlier this evening, so the Glaceon presses on her tablet, ordering her tape drones to dock in her backpack.

Her Tape Drones are still circling around her. She presses on her tablet once again.
...
Anastasia pressed on her tablet a third time, and her Tape Drones did not respond, still circling around her.
...
As Anastasia wonders what the heck is going on, she notices the statues "observing" her with a similar odd red glow in their "eyes"...
The Glaceon grows with worry as she realizes what's going on. She unleashes an Icy Wind to distract and disable her Tape Drones before dashing for the exit, only for another Tape Drone to swipe in front of her, cutting off her vision.
The screams of a poor Glaceon and sticky tape echo throughout the entire tomb.
