My main challenge for this VR Headset was matching the aesthetics to compliment the Crotch Clutch, but I added a very stupid priority: Make an original design, not fully copying actual VR Headset models.
I tried going with a "light line" design seen in other pictures, but I wasn't too happy with it. Given the aesthetics of the Crotch Clutch itself, with the metallic tentacles and the "vibrator dots" to provide a rather menacing, robotic sci-fi look, it seemed like modifying an HTC Vive was an obvious pick over the "flat screen" or "light line" look from the other models. I guess the real challenge for this one was admitting that some priorities end up being a senseless restriction more than anything.
Maybe I'm worrying too much on how "copyright" even works, oh well...
