  "description": "And now something completely different from my usual post.\n\n[b]TL/DR[/b] =  As my profile says, I'm not open for commissions, requests, trades, collaborations, and any of the sort until further notice.  Please don't insist.\n\n\n[center][u]I would like to first give you a warning because this is a rant kind of text.[/u][/center]\n\n\nI was debating for a long time if i should post this, but now i'm getting more and more PMs on this matter, so i decided to put this as an example and maybe something to refer to, when the other person gets pushy.\n\nI don't mind people that overlook my profile sign, or maybe people who just want to take a chance asking me if i'm open for commissions/requests, and politely sends me a PM about it.\nThe problem is when people hear my reasons, and attempt to debate them to discredit them, or like this guy, just brush my reasons off and rather accuse me of not wanting to draw for him.\n\nI don't like being a dick to people, so please don't force me to be one.  \nBy the end of that thread, i was really pissed off after exchanging messages with this guy for days, trying to guilt trip me into drawing for him.\n\nNow i see that he was either banned or closed his account (it wasn't me).  I guess he was trying luck with several others that weren't as patient.\nIronically, the guy had on his profile: \"I only do collabs with drawing type artists, sorry\".  So he could arbitrarily decide not to have a collaboration with people for no good reason.\n\nDrawing takes time, and effort.\nOn my case, drawing for someone else is rather stressful, and it's not something i can just go on and off with a flip of a switch.   I need to dedicate time to warm up, and to study references.\n\nI have other hobbies that i've had to set aside (like videogames) or just completely give up (like playing music).\nThere are games in my Steam gallery that i bought to play later because they seemed very interesting, and i haven't booted up even once after many years.\nI Also got games that my boyfriend has given to me, and are piling up with the games i own and still haven't completed.\n\nAnyway, to conclude, if i ever decide to open for commissions and requests, i will make a journal here on IB about it.\nBut i warn you that i've had that sign for as long as i have been on IB, and i don't have plans to change it in the future.",
