"Thanks for bringing me out to the forest, papa."

A young blue-furred hedgehog named Samuel smiles up at another blue-furred male as the other male gently ruffles his hair with his hand.

"Aww, it's not a problem, Sammy..."

The adult hedgehog, named Sonic, smiles down at Sammy as he laughs softly. He then wraps an arm around him and walks beside him.

Once the two hedgehogs had arrived at their location, Sammy wags his tail and kneels down on the ground before beginning to sniff a nearby flower. He sneezes a bit and blushes.

"Excuse me..."

Sonic chuckles as he kneels down beside him and sniffs a flower also.

"You know, this type of flower is actually your mother's favourite."

"Really?"

Sonic gently wraps an arm around Samuel's shoulder.

"Yeah, I gave a bunch of them to her on our first date and she loved 'em! Then of course, a few years after the date, we had a beautiful little boy..."

Samuel smiles and nuzzles his nose against Sonic's muzzle. Sonic chuckles once again and kisses Samuel's cheek.

"You being the beautiful little boy, of course~"

Samuel laughs softly and blushes a bit from the kiss.

"Aw papa, stop it... you're making me blush."

"Oh~? I am, am I~?"

Sonic smirks a bit as he begins to tickle Samuel's tummy. Samuel squeals and kicks his feet, laughing hysterically.

"N-noo p-papa! S-Stop! I'm t-ticklish!"

Sonic chuckles as he stops tickling him and cuddles him close to his chest.

"I love ya, little buddy~"

Samuel laughs softly once again and nuzzles into Sonic's chest.

"Love you too, papa."

Around an hour later, Samuel stands up from his position and stretches. He then reaches down and picks up a bunch of flowers that he and Sonic had picked within the forest.

"Mom is gonna love these!"

Sonic smiles and ruffles Samuel's hair as he holds a bag open for Samuel to put the flowers into.

"You've always been such a sweet boy, Sammy... but are you sure you don't want to give these to your girlfriend~?"

Samuel opens his eyes widely and blushes.

"P-papa! I don't have a girlfriend!"

Sonic chuckles a bit and smirks as he walks beside him.

"Whatever you say, little buddy~"

Samuel pouts a bit and soon begins to scratch his head. He then removes his hand but soon groans as he feels his head begin to itch once again.

"What the...? Why am I so itchy?"

Sonic turns to Sammy and Samuel stops itching. He smiles up at Sonic and once Sonic was turned away, Samuel begins to scratch himself again. He leans against a wooden pole and rubs his back up against it, smiling a bit as he does so.

"That's better..."

Once Sammy had finished, he runs back over to Sonic and continues to walk beside him.

"Sammy? Are you alright, little buddy?"

"Yeah, I'm fine papa. There was just... something I wanted to look at!"

Sonic chuckles as he continues to walk.

"I see."

A few minutes later, Samuel lowers his ears as he once again begins to scratch his head. He then scratches his shoulder and arm, feeling his itching sensation continue.

"Ughh, what is this?! Wait... oh no, I think I have fleas. I can't let papa find out... it'll be way too embarrassing!"

Samuel grits his teeth and clenches his fists as Sonic looks back at him, trying to resist scratching himself. Sonic notices Samuel's uncomfortable attitude and gives him a curious expression.

"Are you sure you're alright, Sammy? You look pretty uncomfortable..."

Samuel feels a bit of sweat begin to appear on his forehead as he smiles nervously up at Sonic, still trying to resist from scratching himself. 

"Y-yeah! Everything's cool, papa! I just uh... um..."

Samuel nervously looks around and soon notices an outdoor toilet nearby. He smiles a bit and points over to it. 

"I... j-just need the to use the bathroom, that's all!"

Sonic continues to give a curious expression but soon smiles and nods.

"That explains all the wriggling around! Alright buddy, go ahead... I'll wait for you here."

Samuel continues to smile nervously as he walks over to the outhouse. He waits until Sonic had turned around and quickly runs behind it. He smiles and sighs in relief as he scratches himself furiously and rubs his back against a nearby tree.

"Ahh... that's the spot..."

Ten minutes go by and Sonic crosses his arms as he leans against a tree. He taps his foot and lowers his ears a bit.

"Poor guy... he's been in there for quite some time. I better see if he's okay..."

Sonic walks over to the outhouse and gently knocks on the door.

"Sammy? Are you okay in there, little buddy?"

Samuel, who had heard Sonic nearby, continues to scratch himself as he responds.

"Y-Yeah! I'm okay, papa... just a bad chili dog, that's all..."

Sonic winces a bit at the thought and turns around.

"Alright buddy, take as much time as you--"

Sonic was about to walk away until he notices a gust of wind blow the door open. He makes a curious expression as he notices that there was no-one inside.

"What the...? I thought he was in there. Unless he's... no, he can't be!"

Sonic looks around and soon feels his ear twitch as he hears a small sighing sound coming from behind the outhouse. He slowly walks over and curiously peeks from behind a tree. He opens his eyes widely as he notices Samuel rubbing his back against a tree.

"Sammy?"

Samuel opens his eyes and stops scratching himself before looking over to Sonic. He smiles nervously as he shakes on the spot, trying not to scratch.

"P-papa! I... I was just... um..."

Sonic crosses his arms and makes a stern expression as he taps his foot.

"Sammy... what's going on? I thought you were using the toilet..."

Samuel lowers his ears as he begins to scratch his stomach.

"N-nothing, papa..."

Sonic continues to give a stern expression before kneeling down in front of Samuel. He lifts his shirt and looks down at his stomach. Samuel blushes a bit as he continues to scratch his stomach.

"You seem to be scratching a lot... maybe you have an allergy or rash?"

Samuel whimpers as he continues to scratch around the area.

"There doesn't seem to be any rashes..."

Sonic continues to look around and watches as Samuel rubs his back against a tree once again. He then whimpers again and soon sits on the ground, sobbing in frustration. 

"I can't take it anymore! I've got fleas, okay?!"

Sonic makes a shocked expression but soon lowers his ears as he sits down beside him. He looks over to him and rubs his back with his hand.

"Why didn't you say so, little buddy?"

Samuel sniffs and wipes his eyes with a hand.

"I didn't want you to know... it's embarrassing."

Sonic smiles softly and gently scratches Samuel's stomach as Samuel continues to scratch his stomach too.

"Hey, it's alright... we all get them every now and then. You're getting your winter coat too..."

Samuel laughs a bit as Sonic rubs a bit of his belly fur.

"Papa, that tickles!"

Sonic chuckles a bit as he stands up. He gently grabs Samuel's hand and helps him up before scooping him up into his arms. Samuel blushes and gives Sonic a curious expression.

"Papa, what are you doing?"

Sonic smirks a bit as he looks down at Samuel in his arms.

"Hold on tight, little buddy~!"

Samuel holds onto Sonic and smiles a bit. After a few seconds, Sonic zooms off and Samuel smiles widely, making a loud sound of glee as he's in Sonic's arms.

Once Sonic had returned to his and Tails' hut, he puts Samuel down and opens the door for him. Samuel walks in and puts the flowers down, watching as Sonic closes the door behind them. He then walks over to a nearby room. 

"Now let's go and give you a bath..."

Samuel gulps a bit and shakes on the spot as he scratches his arm.

"B-bath?! You know I hate baths, papa!"

Sonic smiles a bit as he begins to draw a bath for Samuel.

"Now now... you know that a bath is the best way to get rid of fleas."

"Y-yeah, but..."

Sonic notices Samuel shivering a bit and lowers his ears as he places a hand on his shoulder.

"Don't worry, buddy. You'll be okay..."

Samuel fully undresses and walks over to Sonic in his naked state. Sonic soon finishes drawing the bath and turns to him, giving him a thumbs up. 

"Alright buddy, it's all ready for you!"

Samuel smiles and nods as he was using a hand to cover his penis. He blushes a bit as he looks over to the toilet.

"T-thanks papa... but I need to go for a wee first."

Sonic chuckles a bit as he stands up and leans against the wall.

"Alright, go ahead..."

Samuel smiles as he walks over to the toilet and lifts both lids before standing in front of it. He then sighs in relief as a thick stream shoots out of his penis and hits the water.

Sonic smirks a bit as he watches Samuel urinating from a distance. He then turns off the taps and walks over to Samuel, peeking over his shoulder.

Sonic chuckles once again, a smirk still on his face.

Samuel blushes a darker shade of red from his father's comment and soon squirts a bit of urine onto the inner side of the seats. Sonic smirks as Samuel does so and watches as Samuel shakes his penis.

Sonic smirks a bit and watches as Samuel begins to walk back over to the bath. He follows behind and kneels down beside the bath as Samuel climbs in. Samuel smiles nervously and continues to shiver as Sonic looks down at him.

Sonic gently rubs Samuel's quills with his hand and smiles at him.

"It's alright, Sammy... I'm here, okay?"

Samuel stops shivering and nods as he begins to calm down. Sonic reaches over and grabs a bottle of flea treatment lotion before rubbing it into his hands. He then begins to rub it onto Samuel's head.

Samuel smiles and closes his eyes, letting out a small purring sound as Sonic massages his quills. 

"This should get rid of those pesky fleas!"

Once the shampoo was in Samuel's quills, Samuel squeaks as he feels Sonic rub the lotion in between his legs under the water. Sonic smirks a bit as he begins to rub the lotion onto his thighs and legs also.

Once his bath was finished, Samuel steps out of the bath and grabs a nearby towel. He begins to dry himself off with it as Sonic takes out the plug in the bath.

"Thanks for the bath, papa... I really needed that!"

Sonic smiles and wags his tail as he looks back at Samuel. 

"No problem, little buddy... you should be free of those nasty fleas now too!"

Samuel giggles a bit and continues to rub the towel against his body. Sonic smirks a bit from the display and leans against the bathroom wall.

Samuel giggles shyly from the compliment but then smirks a bit as he bends over, drying off his legs and feet with the towel.

"Thanks papa, but that was because of you~"

Sonic smirks and chuckles a bit and watches as Samuel begins to dry off his long quills, followed by his rear. Sonic walks over and gently taps Samuel's butt with his hand.

Samuel giggles again and blushes a bit from the compliment.

"Stop it papa, you're making me blush... and my bottom is sensitive~"

Sonic chuckles as he watches Samuel wrap his towel around his waist and walk towards his bedroom. Sonic follows behind and picks up a brush from Samuel's table before sitting behind him on his bed.

Samuel soon purrs and wags his tail as he feels Sonic brushing his quills. He rubs his head against the brush and Sonic chuckles.

"You really love getting your quills brushed, don't ya~?"

Samuel giggles and nods and soon pouts a bit as Sonic stops brushing his quills. Sonic chuckles as he notices Samuel's pout and gently begins to run his hand through Samuel's quills, pushing his bangs away from his face.

"Sorry Sammy but your quills are quite delicate, we don't want to brush them too much... and your bangs are getting quite long~"

Samuel huffs but soon giggles as Sonic gently tickles his tummy, causing him to kick his feet and wriggle around.

"No, p-papa! I'm t-ticklish!"

Sonic chuckles and soon finishes tickling him before putting a hand under Samuel's muzzle and looking into his eyes.

"You have your mommy's eyes... and her beautiful smile~"

Samuel blushes once again from the compliment and soon opens his eyes widely as Sonic places his lips against his, giving him a loving kiss. He soon pulls away and brings Samuel into a cuddle.

"I love you, son..."

Samuel wags his tail and cuddles back, kissing Sonic's mouth in a loving way.
