It had been about two years since Classic Sonic's previous return to his older counterpart's world. 
What he didn't realise, however, was that his older counterpart's life had changed quite drastically...


Classic Sonic shakes his head and gently holds it in his hand as he approaches the exit of the familiar purple portal, that he was once before emerged from. Once he had recovered from the journey, the young hedgehog looks around his surroundings.

To his surprise, Classic Sonic wasn't in any danger, nor was it a trap set by Dr Robotnik. He had instead, been transported to what looked like the landing of someone's house. He looked behind him and saw a large set of stairs, leading to his current position.

Classic Sonic was about to descend the stairs when he suddenly feels his ear twitch from a small sobbing sound. It sounded like it was coming from a little baby of some kind. This was followed by, what sounded like a female, humming softly. 

Classic Sonic makes a curious expression and soon follows the sounds. He ends up coming across a small door across the landing and approaches it before peeking around it. As he looks inside, he notices that the door was in fact a door for a bedroom.

This bedroom had a large king-sized bed, a makeup table and mirror, a small changing table and a large blue wooden crib. Classic Sonic knew that he had been here before but the room looked different, due to the baby equipment that was now present.

After a slight hesitation, Classic Sonic cautiously tiptoes into the room. As he entered, he could hear the humming sound become slightly louder. He hides behind the changing table and soon looks up at the young female.

The young female was a purple-furred hedgehog with long hair, complete with lilac-coloured stripes. Her eyes were a sapphire blue colour and her skin was a pale tan colour. She also wore a burgendy-coloured night-dress with a matching dressrobe as well as holding a small bundle in her arms. 

The young female smiles down at the tiny bundle in her arms and whispers, softly as the little infant nurses off her. 

"You were really hungry, weren't you, sweetheart?"

Classic Sonic soon makes a shocked expression as he recognises the young female mobian. He was now certain of where he was and emerges from behind the changing table. The young hedgehog smiles and walks over to the young female's position. 

The young female continues to smile softly as she watches the little infant nursing. She had not seen Classic Sonic yet and was gently caressing her little boy's muzzle as he fed.

Classic Sonic was somewhat confused about the figure he had recognised, since she did not have a child the last time he met her. He was curious nonetheless and places his hands onto a small chair in front of him. He then leans forward and goes up onto his tiptoes, trying to get a closer look of the hedgehoglet.

No matter how hard he tried, Classic Sonic couldn't see the baby properly, due to his short height. He lowers his ears a bit and was about to turn back but he suddenly curls into a defensive position as he feels a hand touch his shoulder.

The figure behind Classic Sonic lowers his ears as he notices Classic Sonic shivering. He gently rubs his shoulder with his hand and watches as he slowly turns around to face him. Classic Sonic soon smiles as he recognises the figure behind him and makes a curious expression as he feels the figure lifting him up. 

The figure was an older looking version of himself. He had dark blur fur, pale tanned skin and bright emerald green eyes. Classic Sonic watches as the figure carries him over to the young female and holds him up to her eye level.

"Look who's back, honey~"

The young female smiles as she looks up from the little newborn in her arms. She smiles and wags her tail also, recognising Classic Sonic. 

"It's nice to see you again, little one~"

Classic Sonic smiles and continues to wag his tail as the young female reaches out to him and gently rubs his ear. The older figure chuckles and looks down at Classic Sonic as he continues to hold him.

"It's good to see you again, pal..."

Classic Sonic wiggles his ears happily and soon looks over to the little hedgehoglet once again as he makes a small squeaking sound.

The young female looks down at the little hedgehoglet before looking up at the older male and smiles a bit, whispering to him. 

"Sonic? I don't think Mini You has seen Samuel yet~"

"That's true, sweetheart... I'll give him a better view~"

Sonic smiles as he places Classic Sonic onto the small chair in front of him. Classic Sonic goes on his tiptoes on the small chair and looks over, finally able to get a clear view of the newborn.

There, in the young female's arms, was a dark blur furred hedgehoglet. He had three tiny quills on the back of his head as well as two little bangs. The bangs had two purple stripes on them and his skin was a dark tan colour.

"Sonic? This is Samuel... he's our little angel~"

Classic Sonic makes a curious expression as he leans over the young female's arms, noticing that the little infant was suckling off his mother's breast. He blushes and looks away, feeling embarrassed about seeing her naked breast.

Sonic chuckles and the young female giggles as they both notice the blush on his muzzle. 

"Looks like he's a bit shy, Kira~"

Kira, the young female hedgehog, giggles once again as she whispers to Classic Sonic.

"It's ok, Sonic... I'm not embarrassed. Besides, I think he's finished feeding now..."

Classic Sonic nods and turns back around, smiles as he feels more comfortable with the situation. Kira, who had finished feeding Samuel, gently hands him to Sonic as she dresses herself back up. 

Sonic smiles as he takes the little boy from Kira's arms and lays him on his shoulder. He then gently pats and rubs his back, attempting to make him burp. 

"Come on, little buddy... give daddy a big burp~"

Classic Sonic looks up and smiles as he watches Sonic with Samuel. 

A few seconds later, the little hedgehoglet holds onto Sonic's shoulder as he lets out a tiny, yet somewhat loud, burp. Sonic chuckles as he looks down at his shoulder.

"Whoa! Nice one, little buddy~!"

Kira giggles and looks down at Classic Sonic, who was making a giggling expression. She then looks up at Sonic and smirks a bit.

"He's definitely got your burps, honey... mine tend to be much quieter~"

Sonic smirks in return and he soon looks down at Classic Sonic. He smiles and kneels down on the ground, holding Samuel out to him.

"Do you wanna hold Sammy, Mini Me?"

Classic Sonic makes a somewhat nervous expression as he holds his arms out. Sonic smiles a bit and gently places Samuel into Classic Sonic's arms. He then slowly repositions his arms into the right place and removes his hands.

"There you go..."

Kira smiles as she looks down at Classic Sonic. 

"Aww... I bet you're gonna make a good daddy, little one~"

Classic Sonic blushes a bit from the comment but soon looks down at Samuel. The little hedgehoglet clenches his fists and soon wriggles his nose, trying to get Classic Sonic's scent. 

The young male makes a curious expression and wriggles his nose, also attempting to get Samuel's scent. After a short while, Samuel lets out a small sneeze and Classic Sonic makes a giggling expression.

Kira giggles and reaches over to her bedside table, grabbing a tissue. She then gently wipes Samuel's nose with it before putting it aside.

"Excuse you, little mister~!"

Sonic chuckles and soon looks down in Classic Sonic's arms, noticing that Samuel was rubbing his eyes with his hands. He then lets out a big yawn and begins to fall asleep.

"Looks like someone needs a sleepy time~"

Classic Sonic smiles as he holds Samuel up to Sonic and watches as he gently takes him from his arms and lays him into his crib. Classic Sonic then peeks over the top of the crib and wags his tail as Kira reaches down and gently covers Samuel's legs and feet with a small blanket.

Samuel coos and kicks his feet a bit as he begins to fall asleep in the crib. 

Classic Sonic smiles as he continues to stare at the little newborn. He then watches as Modern Sonic leans over and gently kisses Samuel's forehead. He smiles and whispers to Samuel.

"Goodnight, little buddy..."

The little hedgehoglet squeaks in response and Kira giggles from his squeaking sound. She then leans closer to Samuel and kisses his muzzle before nuzzling his nose.

"Goodnight, my little sweetie..."

Sonic smiles and looks down at Classic Sonic, who was continuing to watch Samuel as he drifts off to sleep. He then turns to Kira before lifting Classic Sonic up once again.

Classic Sonic makes a curious expression and feels his ear twitch as Sonic whispers into it.

"Did you want to kiss him too, Mini Me?"

Classic Sonic smiles and nods as he wags his tail, happily. Sonic chuckles and holds him so that he was closer to Samuel. Classic Sonic then kisses Samuel's forehead and Sonic puts him back onto the small chair, in front of the crib.

Kira smiles at the scene and soon turns off the light in the bedroom before turning to Sonic. Sonic smiles and walks towards the door before looking back at Classic Sonic. He wags his tail a bit as he notices that Classic Sonic was still stood on the chair, watching Samuel as he sleeps.

Sonic turns to Kira and smiles as he whispers to her.

"We better leave him to it... I think he wants to be alone with Sammy."

Kira smiles and nods as she takes Sonic's arm into her own and walks into the other room beside him.

"I wonder if he wants to be a father too..."

"Yeah, I think he does."
