"Go... pwotty?"

Lilly nervously rubs the back of her head, realising that Sonic had been outside for most of his life, therefore didn't know what 'go potty' meant.

"Oh... I mean... it's where you 'mark your territory'."

"Ohhh! Me understand now..."

Lilly giggles a bit and walks over to the bathing area, next to the toilet. She then begins to turn on the water in order to fill a large wooden tub. Sonic feels his ears perk up from the water and goes up on his tiptoes in order to look inside the tub.

"I think we should give you a bath... your fur is quite dirty."

Sonic whimpers and lowers his ears a bit as he notices the water beginning to fill the tub.

"A b-bwath? N-nwo, fank wou..."

Lilly makes a sympathetic expression as she notices Sonic shivering and backing away from the tub. She walks over to him and kneels down beside him, gently bringing him into a cuddle.

"Why don't you like baths? Did you have them when you were in the forest?"

Sonic nuzzles into Lilly and looks over at the tub before looking up at her.

"Y-ywes... bwut they were always cwold. Me dwidn't wike them..."

"Ah... well don't worry. With a bath, you make it as cold or warm as you want!"

Sonic makes a curious expression and soon drops down onto the ground, looking around the bathing area. He then whimpers a bit and crosses his legs, putting a hand between them. He toddles over to Lilly and shyly pulls on her dress.

"L-Lilly?"

"Yes, sweetie?"

"Me gwotta mwark my twerritory..."

Lilly notices the little hedgehoglet wriggling around and looks over to the toilet.

"Ok sweetie, do you want to use the toilet?"

As Lilly looks back to Sonic, she opens her eyes widely, noticing that was gone. She looks around frantically and soon looks out of her window. She notices Sonic run over to a nearby tree and lifts his leg up to the trunk. Lilly then giggles a bit as he begins to urinate onto it.

"I guess that answers my question..."

Sonic sighs happily as he continues to mark his territory but soon blushes a dark red as he notices Lilly leaning against the doorway, waiting for him. 

"L-Lilly! Wou embarrassing me!"

Lilly giggles a bit as she heads back into the house.

"Sorry Sonic, I was just making sure you were ok!"

A few seconds later, Sonic, who had finished urinating, huffs a bit as he walks off back into the house. He enters through the door and walks over to Lilly, who had finished filling the tub. Lilly smiles down at Sonic as she dips her hand into the water, checking its temperature.

"Your bath is all ready, sweetie! Oh, maybe later I can teach you how to use the toilet, if you want?"

Sonic nods a bit as he continues to pout, not trusting the water in the tub. Lilly giggles a bit and gently picks up the little hedgehoglet. She holds him above the water and watches as he whines and wriggles around in her arms.

"Shh, it'll be ok..."

Sonic whimpers and stops struggling as Lilly carefully places him into the tub. As he is placed into the tub, Sonic curiously picks up a large ball of bubble bath. He sniffs it before sneezing. Lilly smiles from the display as she takes Sonic's brown blanket and sets it aside.

"Aww... you are the cutest little hedgehoglet, you know."

Sonic blushes a bit from the comment but giggles as he feels Lilly begin to wash his quills with some shampoo.

"Now, this is shampoo. It's used to make your quills smell nice and feel very soft!"

"Weally?"

"Yeah, you'll be smelling nice and feeling soft in no time~!"

Sonic giggles and soon starts to feel comfortable with the warmth of the water. Lilly continues to wash the little hedgehoglet, eventually using a jug of water to rinse off the shampoo and shower gel.

Around 10 minutes later, Lilly picks up the little hedgehoglet with a towel and wraps it around him. Sonic looks down at the towel, curiously before looking up at Lilly. 

"What dis, Lilly?"

"This is a towel, sweetie. It's like a blanket but it's meant to dry you off when you're wet."

Sonic watches curiously as Lilly lays him on his back and uses the towel to dry off his front. He soon giggles from the tickly feeling and kicks his feet. Lilly notices Sonic wriggling around and giggling and continues to dry off his belly.

"Hehe, are you ticklish, Sonic~?"

"Y-ywes!"

Lilly giggles as she nuzzles her nose against Sonic's and stops drying him off.

"You're such a little sweetheart~"

Sonic giggles and smiles cutely as he wags his tail. He stands up and follows Lilly as she walks into her bedroom and curiously watches as she opens her cupboard door.

"Now, we better get you into some clothes..."

The little hedgehoglet walks over to Lilly and looks up, admiring all of her pieces of clothing. He then walks over to her bed and holds onto part of the cover. He yawns a bit before beginning to purr and nuzzling his head into it. 

Lilly takes out a small red t-shirt and a pair of white socks and turns to Sonic. She notices the little hedgehoglet nuzzling into the bed cover and smiles softly.

"Aww... looks like someone's sleepy~"

Sonic, who was still nuzzling the bed cover, opens his eyes and yawns once again, looking up at Lilly with a sleepy expression.

"Lilly? What are thwose?"

"These are clothes, sweetheart. Everyone around here wears them... you also have pajamas which are clothes that you only wear when you sleep."

Sonic watches curiously as Lilly lays the clothes on the bed before picking up her pajamas. She puts them down beside the clothes for Sonic and smiles at the little hedgehoglet as she begins to undress.

Soon, the little hedgehoglet releases his grip on the bed cover and walks over to the bed. He picks up the t-shirt and looks at it curiously. He then attempts to pull the shirt onto his legs.

Lilly, who was now dressed in her pajamas, giggles as she looks over at the little hedgehoglet, noticing that he had put the shirt on his legs and the socks on his hands.

"Let me help you out, sweetie..."

Sonic whines and frustratedly crosses his arms, an angry expression now present on his face. Lilly smiles up at him as she removes the t-shirt from Sonic's feet and the socks from his hands. She places them on the ground and soon hears Sonic sniffling.

"It nwot fwair! Why cwan't me dwo thwings wight?!"

Lilly makes a sympathetic expression as she helps Sonic to put his t-shirt over his head. She pops his arms through the holes and kisses his muzzle.

"Shh, it's alright... you're new to all of this, it isn't your fault."

Sonic sniffs and rubs his eyes before holding onto Lilly. Lilly smiles a bit as she cuddles him and helps him to put his socks onto his feet.

"There... now you just need a diaper. You can wear it until you know how to use the toilet."

"What a dwiaper?"

Lilly smiles and lets go of Sonic before walking over to her cupboard. She takes out a diaper and shows it to him.

"This is a diaper, sweetheart. You wear it and you 'mark your territory' inside it."

Sonic looks at the diaper curiously and watches as Lilly puts it on him. She then grabs a small pair of red trousers and slides them onto Sonic's legs, pulling them up to his waist.

"There we go, you're all ready for beddy-time~!"

Sonic looks down at the clothes he was wearing and sniffs them a bit. 

"They weally swoft!"

Lilly giggles as she picks Sonic up and lays him in her bed. She then gets into bed next to him and holds him in her arms. Sonic yawns and rubs his eyes before looking down in his arms. He notices that his blanket wasn't there and looks up at Lilly.

"Lilly, where my bwanket gwone?"

"Oh, sorry sweetie... I was going to wash it for you. But you can have it for tonight if you want?"

"Ywes, pwease..."

Lilly smiles and nods as she gets out of bed and goes to get the blanket. 

Sonic, meanwhile, sniffs the pillow under his head and soon nuzzles his head into it, purring from the warmness and softness of it. He lets out another small yawn and soon begins to close his eyes, sucking his thumb as he does so.

A few minutes later, Lilly enters the bedroom and smiles softly as she notices the little hedgehoglet, fast asleep and sucking his thumb.

"Aww... I guess he was more tired than I thought."

Lilly carefully gets into bed next to Sonic and cuddles him as she lays his blanket next to him. Sonic nuzzles into the blanket and continues to suck his thumb as Lilly turns off the bedside table lamp before laying down beside him.

She smiles and kisses the little hedgehoglet's head before whispering to him.

"Good night, sweetheart."

Sonic, who was still partially awake, smiles in his sleep as he whispers back to her.

"Gwood nwight... mama."
