One night in Station Square, two little baby hedgehogs were chasing each other.

"Mwe gwonna gwet wou!" 

"Nwuh uh! Me gwet wou fwirst!" 

Soon the eldest hedgehog, who is behind the other runs faster but suddenly he trips over and lands on his face. 

"Hwuh?" The youngest hedgehog runs to the other boy and kneels down.

"Awe wou owk?!" 

Just then the eldest hedgehog started crying his little eyes out. 

At that moment a magenta-coloured hedgehog with golden eyes came in.

"Shadow! What happened?!"

"Hwe fwell owver."

Shadow cried louder and held up his arms.

"Oh Shadow..." Yami picks him up.

Shadow sniffs and snuggles into Yami. 

"Sonic, how many times have I told you not to run indoors?"

Sonic makes a guilty face and puts his hands behind his back. 

"Sowwy." 

Yami smiles.

"Awww, you know I can't resist that look." Yami tickles his peach tummy. 

Sonic giggles and hugs into her leg.

Pretty soon, both of the little boys start yawning and rubbing their eyes. 

"Awww, I think it's beddy time." Yami says as she picks them both up. 

Yami smiles and lays them both down on the changing mat. 

Yami carefully changes them to make sure they don't wake up. 

Pretty soon, Sonic and Shadow both start cooing in their sleep and wriggling around a little. 

"Awww, so precious." 

Soon Yami kisses their heads and lays them both in a single bed (because they're so small, they can both fit in there).

"Good night, cuties." 

A few hours later, a storm began to occur. 

Yami, who was still asleep, could not hear it, but someone else did...

A flash of lightning struck. 

Sonic squeals and wakes up.

"I-it's just a wittle wightnwing, Swonic, wou're nwot afwraid."

Sonic soon closes his eyes and curls up again.

A few minutes later, another flash of lightning struck. 

Sonic wakes up again but squeals louder. 

"Owk, mwaybe it IS scwary."

Sonic whimpers and gets out of bed. 

"Mwaybe I cwan gwo and twell Ywami."

Another lightning flash strikes. 

Sonic whimpers, almost about to cry, he quickly gets nervous and feels the need to wet himself. 

He whines and runs over to his potty, which is in the shape of a sports car, and sits on it. 

Soon another lightning flash strikes and Sonic squeals again as he begins to wee into his potty.

After a few more lightning flashes Sonic gets up and pulls up his diaper, before running over to Shadow. 

"Shwadow! Shwadow!" Sonic starts to shake him. 

"Murrr..."

Shadow ignores him and puts his pillow over his head, snoring quietly.

Another lightning flash.

"Shwadow!!" Sonic shouts, almost in tears. 

Shadow wakes up, grumpy and glares at him.

"WHAT DWO WOU WANT?!"

Another lightning flash. 

Sonic whimpers loudly and grabs onto Shadow. 

"Wou're afwaid of wightning?!" Shadow laughs. 

Sonic whines and looks up at him with tear-filled eyes. 

Shadow continues laughing.

Another lightning flash causes Sonic to snuggle into Shadow's fur and whimper loudly. 

"Weave mwe awone, wou bwully!" 

Shadow stops laughing and looks down at his tear-filled eyes. 

"Swonic... I was onwy jwoking." 

Another lightning flash. 

Sonic squeals even louder and cries softly, curling up into a ball and covering his eyes, Shadow gives him a hug.

Another lightning flash. 

Shadow squeals and starts to get scared, but doesn't show it. 

Thunder strikes.

Shadow whimpers quietly and also starts to feel nervous. 

After another thunder strike, Shadow looks down to see a little wet patch on the front of his pull ups. 

He blushes and runs over to his potty, which is in the shape of a motorbike, and sits on it, also beginning to wee as he whimpers and covers his eyes. 

"Mwaria..." he whines. 

Soon Sonic uncovers his eyes and gets up, he looks over at Shadow and starts laughing. 

"What's swo fwnny?!" 

"Is widdle Shwadow gwetting nwervous? Dwoes he nweed a pwee pwee?" 

Shadow blushes and feels like he's about to cry.

"Weave me awone, fwaker!" 

Sonic giggles. 

"Owk widdle Shwadow Pwee Pwants." 

Shadow whimpers and feels a tear drip down his face. 

Sonic looks over and sees the tear. 

"Awww, mwe onwy jwoking, Shwadow, now wou know how I fwelt. Pwease dwon't cwy."
Shadow looks away quickly. 

"I WASN'T CWYING!!"

"Owk owk, it's alwight." Sonic walks over and cuddles Shadow gently. 

Shadow whines and cuddles back. 

"Ultimwate wifefworm... n-nwot scwared of anyt-thwing."

Another lightning flash, only louder this time. 

Sonic and Shadow scream and hold onto each other. 

"MWE WANT YWAMI!" Shadow cries. 

"We gwo and gwet hwer!" Sonic says. 

Sonic holds Shadow's hand and pulls him towards Yami's room. 

Sonic picks up Shadow, stands on his tip-toes and pushes him up onto the bed. 

Shadow then holds his hand out to Sonic and pulls him up.

Shadow and Sonic both poke Yami's shoulder and call her name. 

"Hmm?" 

Yami stirs and opens an eye, she sees two little boys whimpering with a frightened expression on their faces. 

"Awww... what's the matter, boys?"

"Wightning..." 

"Lightning? But I didn't hear any li---"

Another flash of lightning. 

Sonic and Shadow both start sobbing and both hide their faces into Yami's chest.

Yami holds them close and gives them a kiss on their heads. 

"Shhh, it's ok, little ones. I'm here..."

"Mwama, mwe wanna sweep with wou."

"Mwe twoo."

Yami smiles and wraps them both up in the bed covers. 

"Of course you can, sweeties."

"Good night." 

As soon as she says good night to them, they both cuddle up to each other and suck their thumbs.

Yami smiles and strokes their cheeks. 

Yami soon gets up and brings their potties into her room. 

"Just in case they need to go wee-wee..." She thinks to herself. 

Yami gets into bed and snuggles into them. 

The next day, Shadow yawns and rubs his eyes with his tiny hands. 

Shadow looks around to see that Yami isn't there. He whimpers and looks around the room. 

"Mwama? Mwama!" 

No answer.

Shadow whines and shakes Sonic. 

"Hmm?" 

Sonic opens an eye and looks up. 

"Mwama, she gwone!" 

Sonic quickly gets up and looks around. 

"She cwan't of gwone fwar, she would nwever weave us."

"Uh owh..."

"What?"

Shadow quickly gets up and runs over to his potty. He pulls down his diaper and stands up before aiming his willy so that his wee stream goes into the chair.

"Ahhh..."

Sonic giggles.

Shadow blushes. 

"What? Mwe hwadda gwo..."

Sonic giggles then walks over to his potty before pulling down his diaper and aiming his willy into the chair. He begins to wee and smiles as he watches Shadow.

At that moment, Yami walks in and giggles. 

"Good morning, sweeties."

Sonic and Shadow both gulp and look back at her. Their cheeks turn as red as Shadow's stripes as they both attempt to cover their willies. 

Yami giggles a bit.

"Awww, don't be shy, boys..." 

Once Sonic was finished, he pulls up his diaper and holds his arms up at Yami. 

Yami picks him up and gives him a cuddle. 

Sonic yawns and rubs his eyes. 

"Aww, did that nasty lightning keep you up, Sonikku?"

Sonic nods and carries on rubbing his eyes. 

"Oh dear... we better let you sleep for a bit longer then, eh?"

Sonic simply nods and looks at Yami with half open eyes. 

Yami smiles and lays Sonic down, wrapping the bed cover around him. 

She gives him a kiss and walks over to Shadow. 

Shadow soon finishes weeing and pulls up his diaper before running over to Yami.

Yami empties the potties out and looks down to see Shadow hugging into her leg.

"Awww, are you tired too, Shadowkun?"

Shadow shakes his head and starts to cough. 

Yami picks him up and feels his head. 

"Oh my! You're really hot, Shadow!" 

Shadow whines and starts coughing a lot. 

Yami pats his back and takes him out of the room, taking his potty with her. 

Yami lays Shadow on the couch and wraps a little blanket around him. She sits next to him and holds him close to her, swaying slightly. 

Shadow sneezes and whimpers.

Yami picks up a thermometer and puts it under his tongue.

A few seconds later she takes it out and reads the temperature. 

"Oh dear! You have a fever, sweetheart."

Shadow whines and snuggles into the blanket.

Yami rubs his back and gets up. 

"I'll be right back, sweetie." 

Yami walks out of the room and comes back in holding a bucket, an ice pack, a bottle of medicine and a Maria doll.

Shadow looks up and reaches for the Maria doll. 

Yami smiles and places it next to him. 

Shadow hugs it close and wags his tail.

"Open up, sweetie."

Yami gives Shadow some medicine then waits until he swallows it. 

"Good boy." 

Yami puts the pacifier into his mouth, knowing that it always calms him down.

Shadow starts to suck on the pacifier and hugs his Maria doll close. Yami gently places the ice pack onto his head and holds it there as Shadow drifts off to sleep.

A few days after the illness, Shadow felt as normal as he ever had but was still coughing a little...

2 days later, Sonic and Shadow were rolling a ball to each other. Shadow giggled but then started coughing again. 

Sonic crawled over to him and sat Shadow on his lap, bouncing him a little.

"Pwoor Shwadow..." 

Shadow continues coughing until Sonic pats his back. 

Shadow soon lets out a growl from his stomach and blushes a bit. 

Sonic giggles and saw that Yami was coming.

Yami came in and smiled at the sight. 

"Awww, is Shadow still not feeling well?" She asks before feeling his head. "You certainly don't feel as hot as you were before." 

"Hwe jwust cwoughing now and he hungwy."

Yami smiles and tickles Shadow's tummy.

"Well I guess I'd better get some yum yums for little Shadowkun's tummy wummy." 

Shadow squeals and giggles loudly. 

A few minutes later, Yami comes in and gives Sonic a bottle of milk. As soon as Sonic was about to feed Shadow with it, his tummy also growled.

"Oh dear... looks like Sonikku has to have some yum yums for his hungry tummy wummy too."

Sonic giggles as Yami tickled his tummy and held Shadow close. 

Pretty soon Shadow whimpers in hunger and reaches for the bottle. Sonic, who gets his fatherly instinct early, soon realises and presses the bottle gently onto his lips. 

Shadow sucks on the bottle for dear life and holds onto it with his tiny paws. 

"Gwood bwoy!"

Shadow smiles as he sees that Yami is back. 

Yami smiles at the sight and kneels down. 

"Awww Sonikku, you're acting so grown up." 

"Mwe am?"

Yami nods and watches as Shadow sucks on the bottle. 

Yami soon notices Sonic's hunger and gently presses the bottle of milk onto Sonic's lips. 

Sonic, who was REALLY starving, sucks on the bottle as fast as he could. 

"Whoa! Slow down, speedy!" 

Sonic soon slows down but swallows quickly. 

A few minutes later Shadow finishes the whole bottle and pushes it away from his mouth. 

Sonic giggles as he sees Shadow's muzzle is covered in milk. 

Yami giggles and wipes it away with a blanket.

"Ooh, what a messy hedgehoglet you are."

Shadow smiles then lets out a tiny burp. Afterwards he blushes and covers his mouth. 

"Sowwy..." 

Sonic and Yami both giggle and ruffle his quills. 

"Good boy, Shadow." 

Pretty soon, Sonic giggles and then lets out a big burp.

Shadow and Yami both look at him in shock. 

"Oh my! That was a big one, wasn't it, Sonikku?"

Sonic blushes and covers his mouth. 

"Good boy!" 

Sonic giggles and smiles cutely.

"I can see you're feeling better now, Shadowkun." Yami smiles.

Shadow giggles and suddenly jumps onto Sonic and starts to playfight with him. 

Sonic giggles and tries to push him off.

"Nwooo! Wet mwe gwo!" Sonic giggles. 

Yami smiles and giggles. 

"Good to see them back to normal."
