Chase laid in the couch, stretching. He always thought it funny how his muscles sprung up after sleep paralysis, and now tha he was starting to feel sleepy again they still felt powerful, even though they were proportionally pretty weak. "Are you okay?" TJ asked, out of the stairs into the living room. "Yeah, I'm okay Teej" Chase said affectionately, "Just resting for a bit." "Okay, but if you need anything say it, okay?" TJ responded, "I'm just here to bring mine and Sydney's breakfast." "Don't worry, okay?" Chase said, shifting on the couch. TJ nodded, half-reassured, and went to the kitchen. As he did, Flynn and Carl went down the stairs. The ram was clearly annoying the lizard with some stupid jokes, which Chase restrained himself from laughing. But a solitary giggle was all it took for Flynn to stare at him. "Of course" Flynn rolled his eyes. "S-sorry" Chase said, still trying to restrain laughter. "Anyways" Carl said, seemingly trying to direct the conversation elsewhere, "Do you guys wanna watch a movie and rip on it?" "Maybe some other time" Chase said, "TJ and Sydney are going to have breakfast in bed, it's not as fun without them." "Oh, I can ask Sydney to some downstairs!" TJ offered, carrying a plate with sausages and devilled eggs. "It's fine, I'm going to wake that lazy ass myself" Flynn said. Before TJ could protest, Flynn went upstairs. A few moments later he and Sydney -wearing a black robe with skulls in it - walked down the stairs. "You know, you're pretty lucky you're muh best friend" said a still yawning Sydney. "Fitting, you whine like brat and you're something something you bought at Hot Topic" Flynn said. "It's like starring into a mirror of my teen self" Chase agreed mischieviously. "Fuck no!" Sydney retorted, stretching his arms, "At least I have dignity. And muscles." "But the robes seriously detract both" Carl said, "So you're on the same boat." Ignoring his so-called-friends, Sydney made his way to TJ, who had laid the plate on the table.
