"writing": "[b]A Snack for K’Aazast\n[/b][i]By: Fiddlecipher[/i]\nCody hummed a happy tune as he strolled through the woods, thankful that he had the day off. Normally, the Zorua would be delving into a Mystery Dungeon to rescue a Pokemon in distress or find someone’s missing trinket, but today the leader of Team Nightshade was free to do anything he wanted. He’d spent most of the morning sleeping, and now he was on his way to the lake.\nThe Illusion Pokemon let out a relieved sigh when he felt the sand under his paw pads, standing still for a moment and just taking in his surroundings. A pleasant breeze ruffled his fur as water lapped gently nearby, letting him feel truly at peace for the first time in a while. After a bit, the Zorua moved closer to shore, sat in the sand and unpacked his modest lunch of Jaboca berries and a slice of pie.\nHe popped a berry in his mouth, closing his eyes and enjoying the flavor while the sounds of nature continued in the background. Just as he reached for another, he heard a splash. His eyes opened, glancing around. They swept across the lake surface, but didn’t detect anything out of the ordinary. Taking a deep breath to calm his racing heart, the Zorua munched on another berry.\nIt wasn’t long before another quiet splash yanked his attention away from his lunch. Cody huffed, getting up and glaring at the lake. “All right, who’s there? Show yourself.” He said, narrowing his eyes in frustration when nothing happened. Sighing, he turned to grab another fruit, only to discover that all three of the berries he had left were now missing!\nCody growled, turning to face the lake again. “I’ve had just about enough of this. It’s my day off, so if you could just give my food back, I’d appreciate it.” When nothing happened, the Zorua decided to try a more friendly approach, adjusting his purple bowtie and stepping closer to the waterline.\n“I would be happy to share with you, all you have to do is ask.” He said, his ears drooping sadly when the body of water didn’t respond. Crestfallen, the Zorua turned around, dejectedly trudging back to his spot and picking up the little box that had his slice of pecan pie inside.\nNo sooner had Cody lifted the lid than something burst out of the lake behind him, showering his fur with droplets of water. The dark type spun around, yelping in surprise and dropping the box as a dark colored Vaporeon crashed into him, pinning him to the sand. Normally, Vaporeon were mostly sky blue, but this one was covered in deep blue skin spotted with glowing green scales, and had deep purple fins. A pair of white pupiless eyes stared down at the Zorua, betraying nothing.\n“Um, hi?” The Illusion Pokemon smiling nervously as the Vaporeon leaned in, dragging their glowing Lanturn-esque lure dangling from its forehead across his face, quickly followed by their slimy tongue. Cody cringed at the fish breath, trying to wipe the drool off his nose. Distracted, he failed to notice the other Pokemon licking their chops. Suddenly, the Vaporeon grabbed him! “What are you doing?” The Zorua asked, his voice dripping with anxiety as he somehow felt an impression of hunger emanating from the water type. But the water type didn’t answer, pulling the fox close and opening their jaws. Cody’s eyes widened in fear, and he tried to get away, but the Vaporeon’s grip was too strong! \nBefore the Zorua could think of an alternate escape plan, the predator engulfed his head, sealing their jaws around his neck with a wet squelch. Cody whimpered as smelly saliva soaked into his fur, running down his chest as a hungry growl sounded from deeper inside the beast. The Vaporeon was ravenous, shoving him deeper and sending his head down that rippling esophagus. It wasn’t long before the poor fox slipped into his predator’s stomach, retching as his senses were bombarded by the disgusting odor of digesting fish. Bits of undigested scales and bones, illuminated by the eerie blue glow from the walls, smeared across his fur, ruining his luscious coat. However, that was the [i]least[/i] of his concerns…\nAs his tail vanished between the beast’s lips with a slurp, back forced against the wall, his skin immediately started to itch. Cody could sense the creature’s contentment in his mind, doing his best to avoid the caustic goop, but it was [i]absolutely everywhere[/i], making that task impossible. The Zorua whined as he heard his predator chewing, glowering when pecan pie mush landed on his head.\nHis situation only worsened when the Vaporeon dove back into the water, letting out a satisfied belch that rose in bubbles. That caused their stomach to contract around the fox, rubbing gastric juice into his fur. It was so tight, Cody could barely move, let alone struggle, forced to stay put as the water type settled down belly-first on the lake bed. Bone shards poked the Zorua’s paws, reminding him of his looming demise as he tried to keep his head above the foul muck that filled the Vaporeon’s gut.\nWhile he fought to keep the fleshy walls at bay, his predator was getting cozy, relaxing atop their bulging belly while they prepared to sleep off their tasty catch, paying no mind to the muffled screams coming from within the digestive organ. A few minutes later, the beast fell asleep, snoozing peacefully as their stomach kicked into gear, oozing fresh acid over the helpless Zorua trapped within.\nCody twitched as the caustic goop sizzled away at him, quickly eating through his skin and attacking his exposed muscles and nerves, his fur already long since removed. Clumps of it floated in the mush, unable to be broken down. The remains of the pie he’d intended to eat for dessert melted away near what remained of his nearly unrecognizable legs, sloshing over the sizzling meat.\nThe Zorua clenched his teeth, squeezing his eyes shut so he wouldn’t have to see what was happening to him. Luckily, he didn’t have to endure his pain for too much longer before his air finally ran out. Cody spasmed one last time, then went still, slumping into the acid. The walls gleefully kneaded his frail body, tenderizing it and separating sinew from bone with slimy squelches. Outside, the Vaporeon belched in their sleep,compacting their stomach just a bit more with a chorus of muffled snaps as the fox’s spine finally gave out, shattering into chunks.\n",
