Maintaining a stern grasp on the youngster’s position over the artisan’s knee, he brought his hand once more across the boy’s bare and reddened buttocks, eliciting yet another cry.\n“Oww” wailed Shadwell, with tears bubbling down and spilling across his face. The humiliation of his predicament – being spanked quite so soundly and without any hint of hesitation across his naked rump – was all but forgotten in the intensity of the pain that flooded through the well-punished cheeks. “Please! I won’t let the furnace go out again!”\nThe young panther had no mind at that moment to consider the blacksmith’s plight.
