Many a seasons ago, th' dandy fop-tart bunnyboy,
\n\t\t\t\t\tLaini, messaged me about drawing another picture of the Plunder Bunny character I drew waaaaaaaaaay back in 2006: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/294055T' say I was flattered would be an understatement, and we worked out a few scenarios that eventually threw his character into the fray; gagged, in chains, with a carrot up his bum an' a boot on his arse! HAR HAR!
T'was no easy task, t' be sure, and the project ended takin a long time to complete. Plenty o' thumbnail sketches there were! What made things rougher than a bottom full o' barnacles was th' fact that my art style continued to improve o'er the months, and so there were numerous revisions an' mistakes I'd catch. Slipperier than a mermaid in heat, they were! XD
One extr'ordinary thing and delightful discovery that occurred was Th' Golden Spiral. *cues mysterious Pirate music*
There's a mathematical rule called The Golden Spiral, where in geometry, nature, art, photography, etc, where a logarithmic spiral that gets wider (or further from its origin) by a factor of φ (phi, "phee") for every quarter turn it makes. A perfect example in nature is a growing fern, or a shell, or this Google image search:

Yer eye basically starts starin' at a point in th' art and th' path it follows is a spiral that gradually whirpools outwards or inwards. I used this to help me plot th' design of th' background and foreground. There were some interesting coincidences, such as th' angle of Plunder Bunny's arm an' flintlock, but I drew th' planks of th' deck to follow th' other angle. Th'! Th'! Th'!
Ok, enough of the poirate speech! I have a weak spot for piratey things, so it was a joy and an honor to be asked to do a continuation of Plunder Bunny 10 years later for
\n\t\t\t\t\tLaini . If you'll notice in comparison to the original drawing...the key around her neck is missing. Where could it have possibly gone off to? O_OAt any rate, thank you everyone for everything! Until the next post! ^_~
