(Commissioned for anon)", "writing": "Christmas time was coming, and the excitement was evident.\n\nThe days had been getting colder, and it wasn't too long afterwards that the snow had started coming down, covering the whole city in a soft veil of white, fluffy flakes. This only increased the joy in the air, and it was a clear time for celebration.\n\nThe town had put up decorations everywhere; festive lights adorned the walls & roofs of every other store & home, and a grand pine tree had been set up in the park, already decorated in more lights, tinsel and ornaments, with a big star on top. Right now, everything had a Christmas-y feel.\n\nAnd the Howard family was no different. Now that school was out for winter break, Emily-Elizabeth and her parents had gotten their apartment set up for the holiday feeling as well.\n\nJust like the rest of the city, they had done their fair share of decorating; putting wreaths up on the walls and a Christmas tree in the corner, along with other festive decor around the house, which the little girl had helped with. Along with her two favorite little helpers.\n\nAs everyone who met the young lady could testify, Emily-Elizabeth loved her dear pets to bits.\n\nAt first, it was just her and her sweet little bunny, Daffodil. The pink-white Holland Lop was usually the center of attention, whenever Emily showed her off to her friends/classmates, and she loved the limelight. Nowadays, being a little older and admittedly a little chubbier than when she was a kitten, while she was certainly not about to shy away from some attention, the rabbit was happy to spend the entirety of her day sleeping, eating, and sleeping some more.\n\nStill, she didn't mind going for walks to get some fresh air and at least a little bit of exercise, and occasionally joining in whatever game the others were playing, if it was one that interested her.\n\nWhich brings us to Emily-Elizabeth's second, and noticeably more well-known pet, Clifford. Ever since the little red puppy came into the girl's life, ever since he was born, he had seemingly become the core of her world. Having always wanted a dog, the young girl was thrilled to get such a precious little gift for her birthday a few years ago. The puppy hadn't grown a lot between then and now, and he was no bigger than a cupcake, but he still had the energy of any other puppy.\n\nAnd it was no secret that both pets really loved their owner, too. Emily-Elizabeth was the most important thing in their lives, and seeing her happy made them happy.\n\nSo it didn't surprise the girl or her parents too much that both the pets wanted to help them set things up for the upcoming holiday, even if it took up their whole afternoon.\n\n\"There!\" The girl declared, placing the final ornament on the tree; a red bauble, handing from one of the branches. \"Look at it! The tree's all done!\"\n\nIt certainly was a spectacle, it had to be said. The whole room gave a vibe of Santa's workshop, with the feel of a warm fire in the hearth, and the smell of freshly-baked cookies wafting through the air. The tree stood in the corner, its lights glowing with a colorful array, with a gold star shining on top to complete the look.\n\n\"Arf! Arf arf!\" Clifford barked happily, wagging his tail as he stood on the sofa armrest besides the bunny, which got the attention of the child.\n\n\"I'm glad you agree!\" She told him, walking over and petting both of their heads. \"Thanks so much for the help, both of you.\"\n\nBoth pets happily took the praise & petting with glee, clearly grateful for both, just as the sound of footsteps coming from the kitchen caught their attention.\n\n\"My, things certainly look festive in here.\" Mrs Howard declared, carrying a tray of freshly-baked cookies into the living room.\n\n\"Thanks, Mom!\" Emily-Elizabeth replied. \"But I didn't do all the decorating. Clifford & Daffodil helped me.\"\n\n\"I'm sure.\" The woman said, giving both the animals a warm smile. \"Well, I suppose you both deserve a reward for your help~\"\n\n\"Woof!\" Clifford yipped in agreement, jumping down from the couch armrest and scurrying over to the mother excitedly.\n\nAs if the sight of the cookies was't enough, one sniff of the flavor of the air was all the encouragement Daffodil needed to go with him, already feeling her mouth watering.\n\nWhile Caroline might not have been as good of a baker as their neighbour, Mrs Z., and certainly paled in comparison to the family's auntie, when it came to carrot cake, her baked goodies were a challenge to pass up.\n\nSeeing both pets standing in front of her, awaiting their promised prizes, the woman chuckled and picked up two sugar-coated treats, holding them out for the critters.\n\nOne of them was in the shape of a bone and the other in the shape of a carrot, both of them coated in icing & sprinkles, and it didn't take a genius to figure out which treat was meant for which animal.\n\n\"Here you go.\" Mrs Howard said, holding the cookies out for the pup & bun. \"Just don't eat them here; I just vacuumed an hour ago.\"\n\nBoth animals quickly obliged, taking their respective treats and scurrying off with them in their mouths, making their way to the girl's bedroom.\n\n\"I think they'll love their treats, mom.\" Emily-Elizabeth said, standing by her mother's side.\n\n\"Oh, I'm sure they will.\" The mother agreed, holding up a basket. \"Speaking of treats, do you still wanna share these with our neighbours? I know we made a lot of them, but that was only by accident.\"\n\n\"Yeah, they deserve them!\" The child said, as she and her mom began to empty the treats from the tray into the basket. \"But we also have to leave one under the tree for Santa.\"\n\n\"Of course we do~\" Caroline responded, smiling and petting her daughter's head, making the girl giggle.\n\nMeanwhile, the two pets had just entered their owner's bedroom, in front of their pet beds, before they began munching on their delicious rewards.\n\n\"Mmmm!\" Clifford moaned in pleasure, the taste of the sweet bone treat filling his mouth, while Daffodil couldn't have looked happier as she ate her own. \"Oh boy! These are delicious!\"\n\n\"You can say that again~\" The bunny agreed, happily munching on her carrot-shaped snack. \"I was starving, this really hit the spot~\"\n\nHearing that second remark, Clifford paused in devouring his treat and turned to look up at his sister-figure, standing on his hind legs and leaning on the edge of her bed.\n\n\"But, Daffodil, you had those carrots just an hour ago.\" He reminded her, his tone not judgemental, but simply confused.\n\nThe rabbit simply shrugged and continued her treat, as if it was the most obvious answer.\n\n\"Baked treats always make me hungry, Clifford.\" She replied, licking her lips and taking another bite. \"They're just that good, I guess.\"\n\n\"Well, I guess they are.\" Clifford chirped with a smile, about to go back to his own treat, before something caught his attention.\n\nHanging right above the rabbit's little private dwelling, over the yellow curtain that allowed her to hide when she needed some privacy, was some kind of plant.\n\nA green crescent-shaped leafy thing with little white berry-looking balls growing from it, attached to the end of a long stem.\n\n\"Uh... Daffodil?\" Clifford called, making the bun pause mid-munch and look at him. \"What's that thing up there?\"\n\nTurning up to see what he was referring to, the rabbit's eyes widened a little as she realized what it was, continuing to chew up the remains of the cookie.\n\n\"Oh, it's a mistletoe.\" Daffodil stated, before swallowing the bits in her mouth and elaborating. \"I didn't know that was there. Emily-Elizabeth must've hung it up while we were in the living room...\"\n\n\"Mistle... Toe?\" Clifford asked, his confusion evident. \"What's a mistletoe?\"\n\nBefore answering the question, the bunny leaned down and took another bite of her holiday confectionery.\n\n\"Well, it's a kind of plant people put up around the holidays.\" Daffodil explained with her mouth full, sounding like it was no big deal for her. \"When two people meet under a mistletoe...\"\n\nWaiting for her to finish, the little red pup listened intently for whatever this new feature involved.\n\nThe rabbit chewed for a few more seconds, before she swallowed and turned to look at him with a pleasant smile.\n\n \"They have to kiss.\"\n\nHearing that last bit, Clifford's eyes widened in surprise and his face blushed a deeper shade of crimson than he usual was.\n\n\"W-Wha-?!\" He stammered, looking completely shocked by this news. \"A-A kiss?! Like a human kiss?!\"\n\nDaffodil giggled, clearly enjoying the way the pooch was reacting.\n\n\"Yeah, that's how it works.\" She confirmed, before her smile became more mischievous. \"Oh, and look at that~ We're under one right now~\"\n\nIt was true; the two pets were both standing right underneath the hanging plant, just as Daffodil had described.\n\n\"W- Well, yeah, b- but we- we're not...\" Clifford stammered, trying to find an excuse out of the awkward activity.\n\nDaffodil, as her sly grin gave away, wasn't having any of that, and took the lead.\n\nClosing her eyes, the bunny leaned her head down towards the pup and puckered her lips, clearly awaiting her brother-figure's reciprocation.\n\n\"Mwah, mwah, mwah~\" She cooed teasingly, making kissy sounds as her face drew nearer.\n\nAs much as he was embarrassed and hesitant, and a little unsure of how to kiss, Clifford didn't want to be a bad friend and disappoint her. Especially if this was what people did for tradition.\n\nSo, despite his shaky paws telling him otherwise, the puppy leaned up towards the rabbit's face, closing his eyes and puckering his lips.\n\n\"Mw- mmmmh!\"\n\nFor a brief moment, the two of them locked lips, the red pup's small mouth connecting with the pink rabbit's bigger & softer lips.\n\n\"Mmmmmm~\" Daffodil moaned sweetly, enjoying the chaste kiss between them, clearly basking in the little show of affection more than her partner was.\n\nBut unbeknownst to both of them, that \"little show\" was about to become a full spectacle.\n\nThe little plant hanging above the rabbit's private dwelling was no ordinary decoration; it held an immense power inside it. A magic mistletoe, which granted any who were lucky/unlucky enough to share a kiss beneath its magical branches, an overwhelmingly powerful love for one another. A love that would only grow stronger by the second & with each activity shared with one another, and once it reached full capacity, would be unable to be broken.\n\nAnd right now, that mistletoe was releasing its magic, sending its love-infused powers straight into the puppy and bunny's minds.\n\nSuddenly, in the midst of their kiss, both their eyes snapped open, giving them both a full view of the other, and their visions of one another were much different than any way they had seen each other before.\n\nIn Daffodil's eyes, she saw the sweetest, kindest and most loyal little helper in the world, always keen to make other happy and would die for his friends. Always so eager to help and do his best, and a face so cute and adorable, she just wanted to eat him up.\n\nIn Clifford's eyes, he saw the most beautiful, wonderful and smartest friend he could ever ask for. Someone who was always there for him, even in the hardest of times and someone he would lay his life on the line for, no matter what. He saw her not as his sister, not as a companion, not even just as a friend, but a princess. Someone who had every right to lay around, eat & sleep all day, and he would be lucky just to have the privilege of being in the presence of. Her chubby body was soft and cute, her fur was silky smooth, her eyes were sparkling and her face was perfect.\n\nNot to mention the size of her big, fluffy butt.\n\nThe sudden rush of feelings was so overwhelming for both of them, and yet, they were all too easy to accept. It was almost like a fog was clouding their thoughts, and all they could think about was the other.\n\nOblivious to falling victims to the mistletoe's magic, the two critters continued their kiss, feeling their bodies relaxing & their eyes become half-lidded as they stared into one another's.\n\nSuddenly, what was just an innocent tradition between siblings became an act of true romance between destined lovers.\n\n\"Mmmmmmhhhh~\" They moaned together, feeling the kiss deepen, with the rabbit's lips pushing a little more into the pup's.\n\nClifford felt Daffodil start to assert control over the kiss, with her soft, velvety lips starting to move around his a little more, and it wasn't long before he allowed it, opening his mouth a bit and letting her do as she pleased.\n\n\"Mmmmmmmmmhhhhhhhhhhhhh~\"\n\nThe rabbit's eyes widened a little in shock, before her pupils became heart-shaped, and she closed her eyes, continuing her work.\n\nNow with her mouth opened a little wider, she began pushing her tongue inside the red canine's mouth, rubbing & swirling her soft, wet muscle against his.\n\n\"Hmmmmm~\" She sighed happily, the tip of her tongue gently exploring every inch of the dog's mouth, and enjoying the feeling of his own tongue against hers.\n\nMeanwhile, the red canine was enjoying himself, too. Even though he had never kissed anyone before, the fact that he was kissing Daffodil made him feel incredibly happy and fulfilled.\n\nBut eventually, the kiss would have to end.\n\nThe two pets were running low on air, and so they decided it would be best to break away, slowly pulling their lips apart.\n\n\"Phew...\" They both exhaled, panting slightly and staring lovingly into the other's eyes, the spell still over them.\n\n\"Clifford...?\" The rabbit began, her voice a soft, dreamy tone.\n\n\"Yes, Daffodil?\" He replied, sounding equally dazed.\n\nWith a loving smile, the rabbit stepped aside and opened the curtain to her home.\n\n\"Wanna come inside my humble abode? We can have a little... Christmas cuddle~\" She cooed, batting her eyelids at him flirtatiously.\n\nBeing invited inside her little pet house was a first for him; in times past, Daffodil made it a point that a gentleman should ALWAYS respect a lady's privacy, and hers was no different. So to be allowed inside, with the rabbit that he never realised he felt this way about before, was an opportunity he couldn't dream of passing up.\n\nClifford's eyes lit up at the offer, and his tail was wagging like crazy, unable to contain his excitement.\n\n\"Oh, boy! I'd love that!\" The canine barked happily, eagerly stepping over the yellow cloth and into the rabbit's home.\n\nSeeing him so full of energy made the bunny's heart flutter, and as soon as he was inside her home, she followed suit & let the curtain give them some secrecy.\n\nIt was darker than out there, of course. But to them, in their current state, that only added to the romantic atmosphere between them. It felt like a candlelight evening; just the two of them alone in a warm, cozy space.\n\n\"Mmmmhhh~\" Daffodil sighed dreamily, laying herself down on her satin pink pillow, making her look like a goddess on a cloud to her guest. \"Come join me~\"\n\nThe way she spoke made the red canine feel all fuzzy inside, so he walked over to where she was waiting for him.\n\nAs soon as he was close enough, Daffodil's front legs scooped him up into a hug, pulling him closer and pressing his head against her fluffy chest, right where her heart was.\n\n\"Ahhh, there we go~\" She cooed, sounding as sweet as sugar. \"Isn't this nice, Clifford?\"\n\n\"Yeah~\" The dog agreed, nuzzling against the rabbit's body and inhaling her sweet scent, his mind becoming more clouded by her charm... And the magic. \"So soft...\"\n\n\"Why, thank you~\" Daffodil replied, feeling a blush creep up her cheeks, before she looked down at the little pup resting against her body.\n\nHe was so cute and precious, and the way he was snuggling up to her made her feel even more smitten with him.\n\n\"You know...\" The rabbit began, running her paw across him tenderly. \"We don't NEED a mistletoe to kiss~\"\n\nHearing that made Clifford's ears perk up, and he looked up at the bun, his eyes full of wonder.\n\n\"Really!?\" He asked, sounding as excited as he looked. \"Then can we- Mmmmph!\"\n\nBefore he could finish, his answer was given to him when the rabbit's lips pressed against his.\n\n\"Mmmm~\" They moaned together, their tongues rubbing together once more.\n\nClifford's tail was going crazy at this point, and his paws were on her chest, gently pressing into her fluff as he returned the kiss.\n\nDaffodil was equally as excited, and even started moving her paws down the pup's body, making him shiver as her touch.\n\nShe didn't stop, and Clifford found himself enjoying her touch as it crept lower, until it stopped at his crotch.\n\nWhether he realised it or not, his member was poking out of its sheath, ready for action. Although it seemed he was oblivious to it happening; he was too lost in the feeling of pleasure.\n\nThe bunny's fingers gently rubbed around the exposed flesh, enjoying him squirming & moaning in delight.\n\n\"Mmmmm~\" Daffodil moaned, before breaking the kiss and looking down at the pup's member, admiring its size.\n\nIt wasn't a very impressive length, which was to be expected for a pup of his size. The days had been getting colder, and it wasn't too long afterwards that the snow had started coming down, covering the whole city in a soft veil of white, fluffy flakes. This only increased the joy in the air, and it was a clear time for celebration.

The town had put up decorations everywhere; festive lights adorned the walls & roofs of every other store & home, and a grand pine tree had been set up in the park, already decorated in more lights, tinsel and ornaments, with a big star on top. Right now, everything had a Christmas-y feel.

And the Howard family was no different. Now that school was out for winter break, Emily-Elizabeth and her parents had gotten their apartment set up for the holiday feeling as well.

Just like the rest of the city, they had done their fair share of decorating; putting wreaths up on the walls and a Christmas tree in the corner, along with other festive decor around the house, which the little girl had helped with. Along with her two favorite little helpers.

As everyone who met the young lady could testify, Emily-Elizabeth loved her dear pets to bits.

At first, it was just her and her sweet little bunny, Daffodil. The pink-white Holland Lop was usually the center of attention, whenever Emily showed her off to her friends/classmates, and she loved the limelight. "There!" The girl declared, placing the final ornament on the tree; a red bauble, handing from one of the branches. "Look at it! The tree's all done!"

It certainly was a spectacle, it had to be said. The whole room gave a vibe of Santa's workshop, with the feel of a warm fire in the hearth, and the smell of freshly-baked cookies wafting through the air. The tree stood in the corner, its lights glowing with a colorful array, with a gold star shining on top to complete the look.

"Arf! Arf arf!" Clifford barked happily, wagging his tail as he stood on the sofa armrest besides the bunny, which got the attention of the child.

"I'm glad you agree!" She told him, walking over and petting both of their heads. "Thanks so much for the help, both of you."

Both pets happily took the praise & petting with glee, clearly grateful for both, just as the sound of footsteps coming from the kitchen caught their attention.

"My, things certainly look festive in here." Mrs Howard declared, carrying a tray of freshly-baked cookies into the living room.

"Thanks, Mom!" Emily-Elizabeth replied. "But I didn't do all the decorating. Clifford & Daffodil helped me."

"I'm sure." The woman said, giving both the animals a warm smile. "Well, I suppose you both deserve a reward for your help~"

"Woof!" Clifford yipped in agreement, jumping down from the couch armrest and scurrying over to the mother excitedly.

As if the sight of the cookies was't enough, one sniff of the flavor of the air was all the encouragement Daffodil needed to go with him, already feeling her mouth watering.

While Caroline might not have been as good of a baker as their neighbour, Mrs Z., and certainly paled in comparison to the family's auntie, when it came to carrot cake, her baked goodies were a challenge to pass up.

Meanwhile, the two pets had just entered their owner's bedroom, in front of their pet beds, before they began munching on their delicious rewards.

The rabbit simply shrugged and continued her treat, as if it was the most obvious answer.

"Baked treats always make me hungry, Clifford." She replied, licking her lips and taking another bite. "They're just that good, I guess."

"Well, I guess they are." Clifford chirped with a smile, about to go back to his own treat, before something caught his attention.

Hanging right above the rabbit's little private dwelling, over the yellow curtain that allowed her to hide when she needed some privacy, was some kind of plant.

A green crescent-shaped leafy thing with little white berry-looking balls growing from it, attached to the end of a long stem.

"Uh... Daffodil?" Clifford called, making the bun pause mid-munch and look at him. "What's that thing up there?"

Turning up to see what he was referring to, the rabbit's eyes widened a little as she realized what it was, continuing to chew up the remains of the cookie.

"Oh, it's a mistletoe." Daffodil stated, before swallowing the bits in her mouth and elaborating. "I didn't know that was there. Emily-Elizabeth must've hung it up while we were in the living room..."

"Mistle... Toe?" Clifford asked, his confusion evident. "What's a mistletoe?"

Before answering the question, the bunny leaned down and took another bite of her holiday confectionery.

"Well, it's a kind of plant people put up around the holidays." Daffodil explained with her mouth full, sounding like it was no big deal for her. "When two people meet under a mistletoe..."

Waiting for her to finish, the little red pup listened intently for whatever this new feature involved.

The rabbit chewed for a few more seconds, before she swallowed and turned to look at him with a pleasant smile.
