"description": "(prepare to read! >: D )\n\nHi! My name is Gly, I draw paw/feet fetish stuff >w>;\n(sorry for the spelling erros, I am tired x.x)\nThis is how I draw both heads and paws/feet. This is how I do it digitally and im not sure how well this will transfer to those on traditional but I will try my best! By no means do I think my way is the best way/is how things should be done. This is just how I do it and hopefully it helps you start your style or give you practice! Keep it up even if this doesn't help! Practice makes progress.\nCircles are your friends! I use a lot of circles but they are not perfect circles, just do your best! First we start with the heel, just draw a plain old circle. Next it depends on what you want, if the sole will be long and narrow then make a long and narrow oval. If the sole will be wide or short then do that with the oval! The oval shape here determines the shape of the whole thing. Be sure that the width of this sole oval is not bigger than the width of the heel circle. Also be sure that the edges of the circles line up. Example given in the picture. Next draw a wide oval above the sole oval, this is the ball of the paw/foot, so long as this is taller and at least a little wider than the heel circle you can be fine, experiment and find what works best for you!\nFor heads draw a oval/egg shaped oval, make sure it's width is larger than it's height. Now draw a smaller circle in the larger circle, where the person is not facing. If the person is looking to the left have this circle on the right and the opposite if they are looking at the right. This circle is used for extreme angles like looking straight up or down as well as helping with the jaw.\nIt looks like a bean! Just trace over these circles in a different layer, be sure that you follow the curves of the circles but for the arch do a curve facing the other way. This way it looks like there is a arch! Add a line for the arch in the middle of this sole for later use.\nFirst let us draw a line of symmetry! This line is to split the face down the middle, not literally. This is to help place details like eyes and such. Where you end the line near the bottom is where the chin will start.\nDraw a curved line from the middle of the smaller circle to the other side of the bigger circle. This can be 1 of 2 things, either the top of the hair line OR the top of the eyes. If you choose the hair line then add another one parallel to the hair line, make it below and about half of the already 'cut in half' smaller circle. If this is the top of the eye line instead then do the save except above the current line. Depends on if you want bigger eyes or not. Next add the bottom of the eye line, which is just adding another curved line parallel to the top eye line, except this time directly under the larger circle. This is where the bottom of the eyes will be. You can make the eye lines smaller so long as everything is parallel and symmetrical.\nNext is the jaw. For fun feel around your jaw, the back where it would connect with the rest of the skull. That is what we are adding! For males you want this jaw line to be long but not crazy long. For females shorter than the male but not super short. If a character is more feminine or masculine then shrink or stretch these lines to how you want! First start with one on the left most side, at least longer than the end of the bottom circle. If you are doing a head at a angle than it will change depending on what angle you are at. Normal angle makes it the longest, looking sharply up makes it the shortest and looking down makes it even with the other line. Now the other line begins at the top eye line, use what I said before to help figure out the length.\nNow connect the bottom of the jaw lines to the end of the symmetry line and there is our frame!\nToes are made with, you guessed it, circles! If it is the big toe/inner toe and that toe is either tied back or not curled then it will be more like a slight oval. Look at your own big toes! They are not circles but rather they are ovals. Be careful to not make them too big or too small but that is ultimately up to you! For the other toes it depends on how many toes they have, if its 5 toes then the 4 others are either all the same size, just much smaller than the big toe, or they progressively get smaller as you go from the big toe to the pinky. I use the second option but like I said before, if that works then go for it. Experiment! Anyways, for curled toes keep them all as circles, though you would have to change the big toe to a more circular shape instead of a oval, but keep it the biggest (unless their design is different). For curled toes I make a smaller circle that is about half the size of the original toe and I put it at the back. The visual representation is there to help in this part. And if a toe is curled then the other toes will have to be moved on down. They should rest on the base of the sole, the big toe being the highest and the pinky toe being moved the most. Again the visual representation will show what I mean for curled toes. Pose them realistically! Toes are not fingers, they cant spread insanely and they are not far from the ball of the foot, the stems of the toes should not be very long so try not to make them fingers.\nThe base of the head shouldn't be hard to do, mostly you are just outlining the head except a few things are different and this is where you can play around with things once again. For one you want to slightly curve the side of the eyes where the person is looking. Notice in the example how it is curved from the bottom too the top of the eye lines. That is where the curve will be. For the top of the skull just follow around till you reach the jaw on the opposite side. You can either fully follow the chin line to have a much more masculine and chizzled jaw, or you can lightly follow it by at least curling the chin and where the jaw and skull meet slightly, like in the harsh angle example. The line art does not change regardless of the angle, just keep the motion. Continue and make a cheek. Curl the line in while you finish up the other side of the jaw like in the example. You could also decide to fully follow the line instead if you wish, but that is how I do it. If the person is laughing you want to make that cheek curve overtake the eye and have it end where the bottom eye line meets the symmetrical curve. Also add a curve for the other eye if needed. Example provided for help. The neck stars where the jaw and skull connect. It is best to add the wires/skeleton sketch for the shoulders if you are going to make a full body thing. But if you are just doing a head shot and personally do not care for the extra work feel free to just do some curled lines and make a pair of shoulders the best you could. This is a tutorial for just heads and paws after all but if you have questions about this part go ahead and note me if you wanna.\nNow just go ahead and finish the outline and boom! And this is why it takes me a while to post. Sketching is easy, inking is a pain since my hand is a stead as a wiggly bridge in the wind, so I do things 1 single line at a time and making layers and layers to erase when needed and such. Now time to try with your own OC's paws/feet! Feel free to tell me how it goes!\nNow add details that are needed to your ocs. This part is fully up to you on how you want to draw your oc's. But here I have sketched a random human (totally not me I swear that isn't me~ ). Ears are not my strong suit so maybe find a separate tutorial for this ;w; sorry. All I can say is I imagine a potato chip. Now go out and practice with your OC's! And feel free to curve and play with the hairline. That is the hairline use for Gly but you could curve it for humans or other types of anthros.",
