A PG-rated ENF story for DBaru. "Ugh, maybe Dudley was right," muttered Kitty Katswell, as she slowly moved through a ventilation shaft that was narrower than it should be. The T.U.F.F. Agent had been tasked with infiltrating a warehouse where the henchmen of Bird Brain had set up shop. As she grunted and pushed her way forward, Kitty reflected on her situation she'd put herself into as an admittedly silly act of defiance. Previously, she had met up outside the building with her partner Dudley, a marginally competent dog who seemed to forget pants exist, though most had long ago bothered trying to remind him. "Oh I've been in vents like that! I ruined my shirt trying to get in." Kitty rolled her eyes. "And what were you doing in the vents besides mooning anyone looking anyway, looking for a treat?" "My lost ball." "Why was... never mind. Anyway, since you had to get in my way, I'll disable the guards inside and you can meet me in the front of the building once I'm done and your team heads in. Don't mess it up, okay?" Mess it up? I bet my mission will go even better than yours!" "You're on, I'll be FINE." As she pushed forward, Kitty could feel edges and rivets dangerously close to catching on her suit, silently regretting to not pick something more durable if not form fitting. She came up to a dead end at an exit facing downward into the warehouse, and it was even smaller than the shaft. At that moment, Dudley's voice echoed in her earpiece. "Minerva, this is Atlas, come in, over." Kitty frowned. "We don't use code names, doofus, this is encoded." "Oh, sorry Kitty, Keswick thought it would be funny. Everything going okay?" "I'm near an exit vent but I'm not sure if I'm gonna get through this section." "Sure you can get through it?" Kitty wiped the sweat off her forehead. "I don't have any choice, I'm not crawling backwards out of this. I'll call again when I'm ready for you and the team to storm in okay? I need you to be quiet now." "Gotcha, over, *kzchth*" He'd made a radio static sound with his mouth. After that, the earpiece went dead and she took several deep breaths before slowly opening the face plate and looking around with a mirror. Seeing no one nearby, Kitty exhaled slowly and began the slow descent as her top half worked its way downward. As she adjusted herself to grab onto a a nearby pole to help pull herself out, she began to slip and felt her suit catch as she heard a loud *RIIIIIIP,* then flipped over as she felt another snag, tearing her jacket off her as she fell into a pile of cardboard boxes. "OW," she exclaimed, landing softly enough to escape injury but hard enough that she hadn't been quiet. Feeling a cool breeze on her butt, she looked down and saw the bottom of her suit had been shredded from her crotch to the top of her boots, pieces of it and the remains of her ripped underwear laying at her feet. "Oh fantastic, now he's REALLY going to gloat," she muttered to herself. Her gloves fell down in front of her, and when she looked up, she frowned, seeing that the top of her suit remained stuck on the vent cover and wasn't coming loose without her climbing back into the vent. "There's no way I can wear this, I'm either gonna trip or get it caught again," she thought as she peeled the remains of her suit off, putting her gloves and boots back on and inspecting her sweater, finding it had escaped damage. "Dudley says look at the bright side, so I'm only HALF exposed I guess." A door opened and Kitty immediately slipped behind a stack of containers as two henchmen entered, stiffening up when she felt the cold metal as she backed up against one. "I'm telling you, I heard someone yell ow in here." Exclaimed one voice. The other man was walking slowly toward where Kitty had fallen., "I didn't hear anything, Jim." As he slowly walked toward her hiding place, she heard him speak again. "Hey look. that vent is open, up there. Is that a jacket?" Jim spoke from close enough to her position that Kitty crouched and prepared to react, curling her tail to balance during her inevitable jump. "Look, someone left their pants and undies here, they're all torn up. Say, these got some nice stripes." Kitty's face burned bright red and she fought to keep herself quiet. "But I toldya someone was here! Let me hail the bo-" With that, Kitty swiftly leapt out and kicked henchman Jim in the face, sending him rolling across the floor. The other goon stood with his jaw hanging open, then turned to run. Kitty crouched and leapt again, knocking him down and riding him like surfboard across the floor. "Ow," he wheezed before passing out. Brushing herself off, Kitty looked down at herself again, annoyed. "Now I have to do my job *and* make sure no one sees that, ugh." She looked out the door and crept along the hallway outside, listening closely for anyone approaching as she picked the lock to the manager's office with a pin she kept in her hair, walking in to an empty room. "Aaaand he's not even here." Kitty began looking through drawers and files for anything of use for the agency, though most of what she found was related to financial reports, until she came across one titled Smuggling Super-weapons. She read quietly to herself, "1. Acquire weapons. 2. Bribe girl scouts. 3 ???? 4. Profit. Really? This is their plan?" Suddenly the lock clicked, and Kitty used the desk as leverage to leap up and attach herself to the ceiling as two henchman came in. As she planted herself firmly, she remembered she had no pants and anyone looking up would get a compromising view of her doing the splits, seeing as her tail was busy helping hold her in place. She silently cursed herself as one asked the other if they should "tell the big man about those two that got hurt." "Nah, we can handle this, Miss Zippy said not to bother him, remember? We're a low-key setup and we're not supposed to be here." "Okay, but why are we in here?" "This is where I hid my smokes, Jim had a habit of bumming. I dunno why YOU followed me. Get going, I'll be back out in a sec." With that, the wolf henchman walked out. Kitty's ability to stay in place much longer was failing, and she watched for a chance to incapacitate the remaining one. As he turned away from her, she let go and landed on his back, wrapping her legs around his head and squeezing her thighs as hard as she could. He ran wildly around the room as she held on for dear life, bouncing off the walls several times before he passed out and she jumped off. Kitty took her time to catch her breath, legs shaking from exertion as she leaned against the desk to keep herself standing. She had to admit not having her restrictive jacket and pants made movement a lot easier, especially kicking and jumping. She might need to switch to shorts... She quickly shook it out of her head and regained focus. From the plans she'd been given, there were only 4 or 5 guards on duty at any time, so if her luck kept up, she could catch the wolf who'd just left and whoever else was in the building before the shift changed and it complicated the sting. Kitty slowly crept into the center of the warehouse, spotting the large door Dudley's team would swarm though, and the wolf standing in front of another door lighting a cigarette, leaning against a post with a No Smoking sign. She quickly leapt behind some conveniently placed waist high boxes, then stood and pointed at him. "You're under arrest for smoking in a no smoking area! Come quietly!" As she swung her hand, she accidentally knocked the boxes out of the way, exposing herself and turning red. The wolf sputtered and coughed as he looked at her, and the door behind him swung open violently, hitting him in the back and knocking him out. "MARK THERE'S AN INTRUDER SHE... took... everyone out." Jim, the first henchman Kitty had kicked, stopped and stared at his crumpled co-worker before looking her over as she covered herself with her tail. "Hey, where are your pants? Oh, you're the one who went through that vent, right? I tore my shirt trying clean it the other day, somebody had been inside it and made a mess." Kitty turned red in anger, ran and and leapt in the air at Jim, whose face drooped. "Oh, not again." Her feet slammed squarely into his chest and she remained standing on him as he fell flat on the floor. "And you forget what you saw just now," she hissed, kneeling to point a finger in his face, tail firmly in place. "Okay." he sputtered as he passed out. She huffed as she tapped her earpiece. "All clear, Dudley. Mind the mess." As the swat team members rushed in they all stopped and stared at Kitty, unsure how to address her appearance. She gave everyone a death glare as she walked toward the door. "I am aware of what I look like. What you see is not going in your report, got it?" Kitty headed into the open parking lot, word quickly circulating behind her to leave her alone and not mention her predicament. Dudley walked up to her from the side to shake her hand on a successful mission, before stopping and staring. "Haha, I can see your butt!" Kitty pointed at him to to yell, before sighing and lowering her tail. "Why should I care, I see your butt all the time." "I know, right? How does it feel?" "Nicer than I expected, but I'm not making it a habit to air myself out like you do. What's your status?" Dudley beamed happily at her. "Mission successful on my end, how did yours go?" "Not as good as I hoped, but I got it done." "Wait, does that mean my mission went better than yours?" Kitty gave him a weary look. "Yeah yeah, you won our bet. Don't rub it in." He cocked his head at her. "I wasn't." She frowned and shook her head before looking at her partner again. "Let's get out of here, we have stuff to do and we can let them handle the paperwork. I'll drive." Kitty jingled the car keys and the two headed to her car, the evening light glancing off the shiny convertible and their bare butts as they walked into the sunset. The (Rear) End.
