"writing": "The feed opened to a black screen with occasional flashes of light and the shaky fumbling of the camera. A brief glimpse through whatever was covering the lens revealed an annoyed looking black lab boy looking overly concentrated, before the camera flipped around to film darkness again.\n “Okay, it’s charged and recording… Be careful with this, Roxie; this is Mom’s old camcorder and if it gets messed up I’m in big trouble!” His voice had the pitch of a boy in the middle of puberty, complete with an embarrassing crack toward the end of his rushed sentence. The camera flipped again to reveal the star of the show: a tiny little cub who looked just like her brother, only softer, much smaller, and covered in a frilly pink dress fit for a princess. The video scrambled through indiscernible blurriness as it traded paws, before settling on two pairs of feet: one with dirty sneakers and one with star-spangled, sparkly socks. “You’re pointing it the wrong way… Here, give it to me-”\n “No! I got it!” she squeaked, jerking the device away and accidentally giving a panoramic view of her bedroom. The space was undoubtedly childish, with toys strewn messily about the carpet and colorful posters covering the walls. Another flip of the camera, and the feed was 90% filled by Roxie’s muzzle as she nearly bumped her nose on the lens. “Hiiiiiiii!!” she squealed, giggling uncontrollably while holding the camcorder right next to her face. “So-so- uhm… so there are other people seeing this?” she asked, jerking her head toward her offscreen brother.\n “Uh… maybe,” the boy replied, running a paw through the scruff of his neck. “Not right now, obviously, but it might get some views once we upload it- er… once you upload it.”\n “... But I dunno how to upload! Sammy, you do it!”\n “Roxie! Q-quiet down!” Sam whisper-yelled, looking over his shoulder anxiously. “Mom’ll hear you!”\n “Sorry,” Roxie giggled sheepishly, the camera recording the slight guilt on her face that was buried beneath giddy eagerness.\n “I-I’ll show you how to do it once you’re done, but after that you’re doing the rest on your own… and then you’ll get in trouble if Mom finds out!” Sam crossed his arms with an exasperated huff.\n “Hmm… okay, but you better teach me good!”\n “Yeah, yeah… just get your recording done before Dad gets home.”\n\n\n Sam left the room with a roll of his eyes, shutting the door behind him with exaggerated care.
