I knocked into him and got up limping. “Noah attack him!” Janja yelled at me. I ran back towards Kion ready to hit him. I tackled him and he yelped as I clawed him. “Lion Guard!” He yelled. They tackled me and Beshte sent me flying my to a tree and made me hurt my back. “Hyena’s regroup!” Janja yelled. I slowly got up and limped over to them on a hill. “We got the high ground now Kion.” Janja said. Then Kion used his roar on us and we flew all the way back to the Outlands. We went to our cave without any food. “You were supposed to get the food furbrains.” Janja said. “And you.” Janja said looking at me. I whined and know what is coming. He stopped and the rest of them continued. He carefully approached me and I sighed. “I’m not with Janja.” I say. “Why aren’t you going to your home in the Outlands?” He asked. “I don’t have a home anymore, I was kicked out from Janja’s clan and I have no home now.” I say. “Do you want to stay?” He asked me. “You can’t be serious?” I ask. “Your bleeding and someone needs to stop it.” He said. “Ok I’ll stay.” I say. “I’ll take you to Rafiki immediately.” He said. “I can’t run.” I say. “I’ll carry you, get on my back.” He said. He was like a true father to me until he started ordering me around and when I started going on the hunts, it got worse. I got the best results out of the hunts and could feed the entire clan in just one hunt. But his feelings changed and he started hitting me if I didn’t get every single animal I hunted.” I explain. “That life sounds like a horrible life.” Kion said. “It was after he changed, I miss the old Janja. Chapter 2

Noah’s POV.

It’s been a few days and I can walk again. My cuts have healed but I still have some scars and I walked up to the main den. I saw Kion in their talking to his family. I walked out with Kion and down to the Lion Guard lair. We walked in and everyone was sitting around. “Everyone this is the newest member of the Lion Guard.” Kion said. “Kion you can’t be serious.” Fuli said. “He has most of the features of the Guard as a whole. He’s strong, fast, intelligent, and fierce.” Kion explained. “Ok Kion, if you say he’s all that, then we’ll welcome him.” Fuli said. Then a logo appeared on my left shoulder and I looked at it. It is the same logo as the Guard. “Welcome into the Lion Guard Noah.” Kion said. I smiled at him and hugged him. “Thank you for giving me a second chance.” I say. Noah’s POV.

I started quickly limping over to the Guard and the Hyena jumped on my back and bit back into my neck. “That’s it!” He yelled. He kept twisting and my neck started cracking. “Kion.” I say weakly. He nodded and I looked at the Hyena and looked into his eyes. He looked back and stopped twisting. “Please.” I say to him weakly. He started twisting again, one more crack and my neck will snap. He twisted it one last time and snapped my neck. 

Kion’s POV.

I started crying and Noah’s body fell. “Noah!” I shout tearing up. I rush to him and claw the Hyena giving him a few scars. I hugged Noah and felt a very weak heartbeat. I pick him up and rush him to Rafiki’s tree. “Rafiki!” I yell at the top of my lungs. He rushed down and saw Noah. I laid him down on the grass. “A Hyena snapped his neck but I feel a heart beat.” I say crying. “I’ll try my best.” Rafiki said. He immediately started helping Noah and the rest of the Guard walked up. 

A few hours later.

We have been waiting for hours and Rafiki finally came down from his tree. “Good news or bad news?” He asked us. “Good news.” I say. “He survived the attack.” Rafiki said. “And the Bad news?” I ask. “It could take him years until he can fully do everything.” He said. “I’ll take care of him until then.” I say. Then my dad and family walked up. “What happened?” My dad asked. “Noah‘s neck was snapped by a Hyena and Rafiki helped him survive but it could take him years until he can fully recover.” I say. “You’ll take care of him right?” Kiara asked. “Yes of course.” I say. Rafiki handed me Noah who is still passed out and put him on my back. We walked to the Lair and I gently sent him down on a rock. 

Years later.

Noah’s POV.

My neck as fully healed and Janja has turned to the good side and so has the rest of his clan. Scar was defeated and me and Kion are officially married. It turns out that Kiara was right about us getting married. She made a bet with King Simba that he would marry me in the future and she won it.
