read)\n\n\n\n[center][u][b]Story[/b][/u]\n [/center]Kai and Rei were childhood friends from a distance continent in a small forest known as Rysume Forest where Nickit and Dreepy were the most populated species.\n\nNeither of them had really truly felt at home there, Kai had never really fit in well with his kin, he never really enjoyed the scavenger lifestyle and the negative reputation it brought. Likewise Rei had no desire to follow her specie's traditions, where until she evolves she was expected to stay with her parents. Even after evolution she would be expected to find a mate and raise a family which she currently had no desire to do. She liked being a Dreepy but had no intention of staying with her family for life.\n\nSo after the two matured they decided to travel almost on a whim, as neither of them had a plan let alone destination in mind, they just wanted to escape and so they did.\n\nThe two set off early one morning when the forest was quiet. Heading in no specific direction the two soon found themselves leaving the forest only to find themselves on the shoreline overlooking a the ocean. Neither had travelled this far outside of their home and this was the first time either had seen such a vast body of water. They decided to take a break as they looked out at the intimidating vastness of the ocean in front of them and decided to discuss their options. They could head back into the forest and try another direction or they could skirt around it but it was Rei who came up with the most outlandish idea.\n\n\"What if we crossed it\" she asked\n\nKai blinked at her thoughtfully, he was a pretty strong swimmer but had only done so in the small waterholes in the forest.\n\nThe Dreepy pointed to the horizon where another landmass was clearly visible, it didn't look too far.\n\n\"I think we can make it, I can probably carry you that far if you don't want to swim.\" she added, for she was both a dragon and ghost type who was a natural flyer.\n\nKai shook his head \"I can swim it!\"\n\nShe smiled \"Then I say we go for it.\"\n\nAnd they did. They made it to the next shore without issue although Kai was a little tired from the effort not to mention soaked through to the skin. So after shaking himself a little they headed into the foliage to see what lay beyond the treeline that covered the coastline.\n\nHowever to their disappointment they didn't have to travel far to realize it was quite a small island and before they knew it they were already on the opposite bank.\n\nAgain they hesitated and considered turning back but again they made out another landmass within swimming distance so with nothing to lose decided to go for it.\n\nThis happened several more times as the pair slowly but surely made their way across the various islands, taking breaks as they searched for food, finding shelter to sleep and just taking it easy. They were in no rush and still had no real plan. They were merely hoping they would eventually find a proper continent although making a home on one of the small island forests wouldn't have been too bad either. But they had made the decision to travel and they still wanted to see more of the world so on they went.\n\nAfter eight days of travel they finally found themselves approaching what seemed to be much larger than the previous islands. They had finally found a new continent, what they would later learn to be the eastern cost of the Grass Continent.\n\nMuch like the other islands, trees edged the shoreline but as they made their way through they found it quickly thinned out into more rocky terrain. Rather intimidating mountains covered the horizon in front of them. With no obvious way around them they decided to try and trek across them.\n\nThe first peak wasn't too much of a trek and despite the rockier terrain was still rather lust as grass still trailed against the cliff face making the footing fairly forgiving. Even so for Kai who had never even seen a mountain before let alone trek one it was a rather tiring experience and by the time they hit the peak he was out of breath and needed a break.\n\nThe view was beautiful, they could make out more mountains but could now see past them to where they levelled out into what looked like another forest which looked promising. But Kai was truly spent, after having spent the morning swimming and now having trekked a mountain he was clearly exhausted as he rested against the cliff face catching his breath.\n\nRei hovered over him \"You should have a rest Kai, I'll keep watch.. Not that I think anyone will bother us up here\" she lifted her forearms as she gestured around them.\n\nKai nodded tiredly \"Ok I think I will then, but don't let me sleep too long ok? You need to rest too.\"\n\n\"I'm fine\" she assured him, they both knew their trek took far less out of her than him given she could fly.\n\nKai made to argue but he was already on his side and whatever he would have said broke off in a yawn and he decided not to bother as after only a few moments he was fast asleep.\n\nRei smiled as she looked over the small now defenceless form of her Nickit friend. He had been trying hard over the last few days and she admired him for it.\n\nThe two of them had always been close friends but over the last few days she felt they had somehow grown closer still and as she found herself watching his sleeping form she realized her fondness for him.\n\nThen she noticed. Kai had rolled over a little in his sleep and his hind legs were splayed open, shamelessly exposing the mound of fluff that was his sheathe, but what caught her eye was what protruded from that sheathe. Kai was standing at half-mast with a stupid grin splayed across his face. The perverted fox must have been having a rather lewd dream.\n\nThe Dreepy crept in for a closer look. This wasn't the first time she had seen his manhood. She had seen him paw off many a time before. Even since they had started their journey she knew he had gotten off at least dozen times so she knew full well he had quite a libido.\n\nNone the less this was the first time she had been able to have a closer look without the Nickit noticing her. He was looking straight at her, his mouth open in silent shock, his face crimson even through his red fur.\n\n\"Sorry did I wake you?\" she asked nonchalantly.\n\n\"I...\" he started to find his voice, and then finding it started to mutter \"It's not what you think ok? I mean I couldn't help it.. I was asleep.. It just came out on its own..\"\n\nRei smiled \"You don't have to explain yourself Kai. You must have been having an exciting dream huh?\"\n\nKai hesitated as he replied \"I don't really remember..\" which was actually true, he had woken up so suddenly his dream had escaped him but he knew it was rather heated as brief as it was.\n\nRei looked back down at his shaft. Had it gotten harder? It looked almost fully exposed now. She took a deep breath taking in the musky sent of his aroused member. He smelt so goood. Rei was merely level 20 but she could fly out of danger so the two decided to check it out even if only a little.\n\nHowever this was a poor decision as after only entering the third level of the peak they ran into trouble and were surrounded by some hostile Raticates. Kai told Rei to hide although she was sure her typing would keep her safe, Kai wouldn’t have it and insisted on it. So she trusted him and did as he told her escaping out of sight. She waited as long as she could muster as moments passed and Kai didn’t appear until finally she couldn’t bare it and went back to see.\n\nWhen she finally returned to where she had left him she couldn't find him, she followed the trail of knocked out Raticates but still found no sign of him, after looking for a long while and almost being knocked out by a Skuntank that could jump higher than she ever thought possible for such a big pokemon she decided to return to the village for help.\n\nTo her dismay the Shaymins told her they never explored the mountain pass and were generally a very passive village, no one who lived there was much of a fighter. However they did have a postal service that they offered to the surroundings areas and they agreed to send a request to the nearby guild.\n\nShe learned that the guild was a group that took missions to explore dungeons, from hunting outlaws to rescuing lost pokemon. So she took their offer but instead of merely sending word she asked them to show her to the guild herself. Since she was by herself she could fly without worrying about Kai so getting to the guild was simple enough, though she struggled to keep up with her shaymin escort who patiently kept back to her pace as she started to think she should have just let them go alone.\n\nBut soon enough they arrived at the guild and she was introduced to the Guild Master Kosa the Mew and despite the fact she had none of the currency they used or anything else to offer as a reward he still accepted her request and sent Kitsu the Fennekin and Rosa the Houndour out to find him.\n\nRei insisted to go with them but she knew she would be a hindrance as she was still upset with herself for putting him in danger to begin with, she was too weak. So reluctantly she took Kosa's advice to stay at the guild. Did something happen?\"\n\nHe looked away \"No not really, I thought off the Raticate but couldn't find you so I tried going a little further into the pass to look for you but got lost.. Well until Jaze and Rosa found me anyway...\"\n\nRei narrowed her eyes \"Is that really all? Did you get hurt?” she asked suspiciously inspecting him all over.\n\n\"No no I'm fine really!\" he insisted \"I ju..\" he broke off as his ears pricked. She wasn't a fighter. The two set off early one morning when the forest was quiet. Heading in no specific direction the two soon found themselves leaving the forest only to find themselves on the shoreline overlooking a the ocean. Neither had travelled this far outside of their home and this was the first time either had seen such a vast body of water. They decided to take a break as they looked out at the intimidating vastness of the ocean in front of them and decided to discuss their options. They could head back into the forest and try another direction or they could skirt around it but it was Rei who came up with the most outlandish idea.

"What if we crossed it" she asked

Kai blinked at her thoughtfully, he was a pretty strong swimmer but had only done so in the small waterholes in the forest.

The Dreepy pointed to the horizon where another landmass was clearly visible, it didn't look too far.

"I think we can make it, I can probably carry you that far if you don't want to swim." she added, for she was both a dragon and ghost type who was a natural flyer.

Kai shook his head "I can swim it!"

She smiled "Then I say we go for it."

And they did. They made it to the next shore without issue although Kai was a little tired from the effort not to mention soaked through to the skin. So after shaking himself a little they headed into the foliage to see what lay beyond the treeline that covered the coastline.

However to their disappointment they didn't have to travel far to realize it was quite a small island and before they knew it they were already on the opposite bank.

Again they hesitated and considered turning back but again they made out another landmass within swimming distance so with nothing to lose decided to go for it.

This happened several more times as the pair slowly but surely made their way across the various islands, taking breaks as they searched for food, finding shelter to sleep and just taking it easy. They were in no rush and still had no real plan. They were merely hoping they would eventually find a proper continent although making a home on one of the small island forests wouldn't have been too bad either. But they had made the decision to travel and they still wanted to see more of the world so on they went.

After eight days of travel they finally found themselves approaching what seemed to be much larger than the previous islands. They had finally found a new continent, what they would later learn to be the eastern cost of the Grass Continent.

Much like the other islands, trees edged the shoreline but as they made their way through they found it quickly thinned out into more rocky terrain. Rather intimidating mountains covered the horizon in front of them. With no obvious way around them they decided to try and trek across them.

The first peak wasn't too much of a trek and despite the rockier terrain was still rather lust as grass still trailed against the cliff face making the footing fairly forgiving. They told them much about the surrounding areas which they learned was called the Grass Continent and that it had a few settlements they could potentially settle down in but they also learned that the region had a lot of areas the residents referred to as ‘Mystery Dungeons’, some mysterious areas which had some rather unique elements to them including some unusually aggressive feral pokemon.

In fact the mountain at which their village was based at was one of them and was known as Sky Peak. The Shaymin said it was quite dangerous and had fairly strong pokemon but none the less the two were curious and decided to explore.

Kai was actually fairly strong, he had trained a lot on his own and was level 45 which supposedly was just above the average of the pokemon who lived up on the peak. Rei was merely level 20 but she could fly out of danger so the two decided to check it out even if only a little.

However this was a poor decision as after only entering the third level of the peak they ran into trouble and were surrounded by some hostile Raticates. Kai told Rei to hide although she was sure her typing would keep her safe, Kai wouldn’t have it and insisted on it. So she trusted him and did as he told her escaping out of sight. She waited as long as she could muster as moments passed and Kai didn’t appear until finally she couldn’t bare it and went back to see.

When she finally returned to where she had left him she couldn't find him, she followed the trail of knocked out Raticates but still found no sign of him, after looking for a long while and almost being knocked out by a Skuntank that could jump higher than she ever thought possible for such a big pokemon she decided to return to the village for help.

To her dismay the Shaymins told her they never explored the mountain pass and were generally a very passive village, no one who lived there was much of a fighter. However they did have a postal service that they offered to the surroundings areas and they agreed to send a request to the nearby guild.

She learned that the guild was a group that took missions to explore dungeons, from hunting outlaws to rescuing lost pokemon. So she took their offer but instead of merely sending word she asked them to show her to the guild herself. Since she was by herself she could fly without worrying about Kai so getting to the guild was simple enough, though she struggled to keep up with her shaymin escort who patiently kept back to her pace as she started to think she should have just let them go alone.

But soon enough they arrived at the guild and she was introduced to the Guild Master Kosa the Mew and despite the fact she had none of the currency they used or anything else to offer as a reward he still accepted her request and sent Kitsu the Fennekin and Rosa the Houndour out to find him.

Rei insisted to go with them but she knew she would be a hindrance as she was still upset with herself for putting him in danger to begin with, she was too weak. So reluctantly she took Kosa's advice to stay at the guild. She tried to rest in the sleeping quarters but her anxiety kept her awake but after a while her exhaustion caught up to her and she found herself falling asleep.

She didn't know how long it had been when she woke up to noise out in the guild lobby and just as she was about to make her way out to see what the commotion was Kai came walking into the room she had been sleeping.

All the anxiety she had been feeling vanished as she rushed over and embraced the Nickit in a tight hug.

"I'm so glad you're ok!" she exclaimed with genuine concern.

Kai looked surprised but put a forepaw around her "Of course I'm ok, I just got a little lost.."

Rei noticed a strange note in Kai's voice and asked "What? Did something happen?"

He looked away "No not really, I thought off the Raticate but couldn't find you so I tried going a little further into the pass to look for you but got lost.. Well until Jaze and Rosa found me anyway..."

Rei narrowed her eyes "Is that really all? Did you get hurt?” she asked suspiciously inspecting him all over.

"No no I'm fine really!" he insisted "I ju.." he broke off as his ears pricked. He could hear laughing from the lounge and sighed. "So much for not telling anyone.." he whispered to himself.

But Rei heard him "Tell anyone what?"

Kai sighed and explained what had happened. How he had found a Pikachu and Shinx he had hoped weren't hostile but quickly realized they were a little preoccupied as they casually mated out in the open.

He admitted that the sight had been rather hot and how it reminded him of only a few days before when he and Rei had done something much the same. He admitted how he had gotten a little worked up and ended up pawing off.

"So?" Rei asked honestly. She didn't care about him pawing off, what was the issue?

"Well...." he began "That was when Jaze and Rosa found me.."

Rei's concerned expression broke out into a huge grin which then turned into a loud laugh "Of course it was.." she said through snorts of laughter.

"Well if that’s all, then I'm glad. I was worried you know." She admitted as her laugh petered off.

"I know.. Thanks Rei."

They hugged again.

And so the two spent a few more days at the guild as they decided what to do next. They quickly came to like the Everstone guild and Treasure Town itself. Everyone accepted them for who they were and had no expectations of them.

Kai quickly grew an admiration for the guild and decided he wanted to become a member and Rei supported him although she herself decided against it. She wasn't a fighter. But she settled down nearby as the two of them made a make shift den just outside of town.
