","writing":"On one quiet evening a Sprigatito found herself finally escaping the forest she had been traversing onto what looked like a well trodden trail, this in itself was a relief but more so was the slightly crooked sign to the side of it.\n\n[b]Treasure Town[/b]\n\nForgetting her fatigue she ran over to the sign and turned to where it was pointing. Yes she could see what were unmistakably buildings of a well developed town. She was almost there!\n\nHer spirits lifted, she set off along the dirt path with a spring in her step, just happy to be able to visit the first town she had seen in days, the fact it was the one she had been seeking was just a bonus.\n\nShe enjoyed her travels but she did get a little lonely when she went long stretches without social contact and while she had seen Pokemon on her way, they were usually suspicious or outright hostile. She was looking forward to being able to meet some more civilized and hopefully welcoming Pokemon in the town.\n\nShe had been on the grass continent for a while now and she had heard of Treasure Town many times. How it was once home to the legendary Wigglytuff's Guild that saved the world. Supposedly it still existed though it was apparently now called Everstone. This was actually why she was really excited to find Treasure Town, she wanted to join the Guild if she could. She had enjoyed her travels, she had explored several continents but she was growing a little wary of traveling alone.\n\nMyra wanted to settle down again, but she knew she would grow restless without a fulfilling purpose and so she decided to return to what she knew, rescue work like she had done back home many years ago.\n\nSoon enough she found herself entering the town, there were a lot of houses along the outskirts, they all varied in style and size in a sort of haphazard but charming way. It certainly seemed like it had expanded greatly over time as when she finally made it to what looked to be the main hub of the town it wasn't all that big. A few businesses dotted around the center as well as a large hill that she assumed must house the Guild.\n\nStopping in the center of the town she considered whether she should just head straight to the Guild. She should probably get to know the town a little first, maybe get to know some of the locals who knew the Guild well. Where to begin though? As she stood there indecisively she almost jumped out of her fur as a voice suddenly spoke to her from behind.\n\n\"Hello, are you new in town?\"\n\nShe whirled herself around to face the newcomer and found herself looking up at a handsome looking Umbreon with unusual blue eyes. He had a gentle smile on his face.\n\n\"Ah sorry, yes I am. Was it that obvious?\" Myra blurted out after composing herself.\n\nHe let out a short chuckle \"No, I just know pretty much everyone in town and I'm pretty sure we don't have any.. [i]um[/i] sorry I don't actually know what species you are..\"\n\nShe gave a wary smile, she was used to this. No one on this continent seemed to have seen anyone like her before \"Oh I'm a Sprigatito. I've come quite a way from my home continent so there probably isn't many of us around.\".\n\nHe nodded \"Ahh well it's nice to see a fresh face around! Would you like to have a drink? You must be pretty tired if you just got into town.\" he motioned his muzzle to what looked to be hole with a staircase going underground.\n\nA sign stood next to it saying\n\n[b]Spinda's Cafe[/b]\n\nShe suddenly realized how parched she was, it had been a while since she had drank anything so after a moment's hesitation she decided to take him up on his offer \"I'd love to, thanks\".\n\nThe Umbreon soft smile widened \"Great! Oh and my name is Gau. Nice to meet you.\"\n\n\"I’m Myra,\" she replied politely.\n\n\"That's a pretty name\" he murmured in genuinely causing her to blush a little.\n\nHe didn;t seem to notice though as he continued talking \"Well you must be thirsty, I'll treat you. it shouldn't be too busy this time of day.\" he reassured her, guessing at the fact she was a little too tired to want to introduce herself to half the town.\n\nShe proceeded to follow the Umbreon down the stairway until it opened up into a spacious open room. Tables dotted around on the wooden floor and a bar lined the far wall. As Gau had said, it was quiet, only the bartender who was unsurprisingly a Spinda and a couple of other pokemon were in there.\n\nThey all turned to look at them and despite them obviously being curious about her none of them got up or said anything.\n\nGau walked over to the bar and then suddenly stopped, looking back at her he asked \"Have you tried a gummi shake before?\"\n\nShe had come to learn that gummis were common on this continent. She had heard of them before but no other continent had them in such abundance as the grass continent. She had tried a couple already though she hadn't had a shake.\n\n\"I've had a few gummis, but not a shake.\" she admitted.\n\n\"Oh well you are in for a treat!\" he exclaimed before turning back to the bartender \"Hey Furu, could I get one of my usual black gummi shakes and a [i]uhh[/i]\" he paused and looked back at Myra again.\n\n\"Sorry Myra, what type are Sprigatito?\"\n\nShe blinked at his seemingly random question \"We are grass type, why?\"\n\n\"Oh well gummis come in all sorts of flavors and generally every type has a specific favorite. Like black gummis taste good to dark types like myself, though that isn't the case for everyone. I thought you should try the obvious choice for your first shake.\" he explained.\n\n\"Ahh I see, that makes sense. Then I should try a green one right?\" she said following the logic.\n\nHe chucked \"Actually that's for bug types, grass types have the grass gummi...\" he trailed off \"Don't ask me who decided the names for them all..\".\n\nHe then returned his attention to the Spinda \"That will be a black gummi shake and a grass gummi shake then please!\"\n\n\"No problem Gau, coming right up. go sit at a table, I'll bring them over for you.\" Furu replied.\n\nAs they sat down and waited for the shakes Myra couldn't help but ask \"So I guess you are well known around here then?\" given the fact he said he knew everyone in town and was on friendly terms with the cafe owner after all.\n\n\"Well ye..\" he began to reply before he was cut off by the clank of two glasses being placed on the table.\n\n[i]That was fast,[/i] Myra couldn't but marvel at how quickly he had prepared the shakes. She looked at the glass placed in front of her. It was a light green and smelled sweet and incredibly enticing. Gau's drink on the other paw was dark and had a far more pungent aroma. She was suddenly thankful he hadn't just ordered her his personal favorite.\n\nHer thoughts were interrupted by Furu who sat down at the table next to Gau as he began to answer the question he had interrupted.\n\n\"Well I'd be surprised if anyone in town didn't know him. He's the Guild's Deputy afterall and the place probably wouldn't run without him. I mean no offense against Kosa or anything but we all know who works the hardest.\"\n\nGau’s dark furred face suddenly grew crimson at the complement \"Everyone works hard..\" he tried to argue as he suppressed a smile, his tail wagging ever so slightly.\n\n\"Of course they do, but we all know you do all your Deputy duties, missions and help around town wherever you can. I'm not calling anyone else lazy. I'm saying [b]you[/b]…\" He flicked the Umbreon’s ear with a paw. \"Work too damn hard. so I insist you take a proper break.\"\n\nSo this was the Guild Deputy? She could tell he was very strong and it sounded like he was very responsible and trustworthy but something about seeing him blush at the Spinda's words made him seem gentle at the same time. She was so used to the top brass of Guilds always putting on a show of being strong and tough she couldn't help but let out a snort at the ridiculous sight.\n\nThis however seemed to just draw the Spinda's attention to her as he turned to look at her.\n\n\"And who is this? A new recruit? A Sprigatito was it? You certainly are a cutie. I'm sure you'll fit right in...\" he broke off in a barely audible whisper[i] \"Well until that Pyre girl learns a new feline is in town, she may just eat you alive\".[/i]\n\n\"Furu! Pyre's not that bad\" Gau retorted. \"Besides she just got into town, she's probably just passing through.\" he looked down at her \"Or did you come to join the Guild?\" he asked curiously.\n\n\"Well actually.. I was considering applying.\" she admitted, not expecting to reveal her interest in the Guild quite like this.\n\n\"Oh!\" he exclaimed clearly having not expected her to say yes.\n\n\"Well there you have it\" the Spinda broke in, giving Myra a hefty pat on the back \"Yet another adorable cutie for your ranks. Now I insist you both take your time and enjoy yourself, you should show her around town.\"\n\n\"But..\" Gau tried to argue.\n\n\"The Guild can last half a afternoon without you, take it off and show the greeny around!\" Furu insisted.\n\n\"I.. fine.\" Gau conceded.\n\nMyra let out another involuntary giggle at how this supposed Guild Deputy was being bossed around by the bartender of the local cafe.\n\n\"Sorry Myra, I 'd be happy to show you around.\" He smiled down at her.\n\nThis seemed to satisfy Furu who got up and returned to the bar in a bit of a wobble. [i]How does he manage to carry the drinks like that?.. [/i]She couldn’t help but wonder..\n\nAnd so after finishing their drinks of which Myra thoroughly enjoyed Gau took her around the town. Introducing her to many of the residents. the Kecleon store, the bank, storage center and so forth until finally they came back to the Guild steps.\n\n\"So Myra, were you really thinking of joining the Guild?\" he asked as they looked at the towards the towering Guild.\n\nShe nodded, \"I've been traveling for about a year now but I think I want to finally settle down again.\" she explained\n\n\"That makes sense, we have a few members who ended up here for similar reasons. What makes you want to join a Guild though?\" he pressed on.\n\n\"Oh well..\" She began suddenly remembering he was the Deputy and was probably testing her resolve.\n\nGau shook his head, seeming to notice her concern \"Oh sorry, I'm not testing you or anything, don't worry. I'm just curious. I'll leave any questions for Kosa, he's our Guildmaster, Come on I'll introduce you\"\n\nSuddenly she found herself following him up the steps and into the Guild. Suddenly her stomach felt like it was full of butterfrees. She wasn't quite prepared for an interview.\n\nEven so, before she knew it they were standing in front of the Guild.\n\nShe followed the Umbreon, crossing a wooden grate in front of the entrance and actually jumped a foot in the air as a loud voice boomed from below them\n\n\"Pokemon detected, Pokemon detected!\"\n\n\"Whose footprint, whose footprint?\"\n\n\"The footprint is Gau and..\"\n\n\"And..\"\n\nGau let out a snort before bending down and looking down through the grate \"She’s a Sprigatito\"\n\n\"The footprint is Spri.. atito's!\"\n\n\"You may Enter!\"\n\nGau sighed \"Sorry about that Myra, we always have a sentry and some take it a little more seriously than others..\"\n\nMyra licked her chest fur in embarrassment \"It's fine. it just caught me by surprise.\"\n\nAfter that they climbed down into the main lobby which was empty. They passed a desk which she assumed was used as a reception desk but no one was there. Gau seemed to let out a sigh as they passed it but he didn't say anything as they climbed down another floor into the lounge which was also empty, a little ways in she found herself stood in front of a large wooden door.\n\n\"This is Kosa's room, he’s our Guildmatser\" Gau reminded her.\n\nOnce again her nerves came over her as she stiffened in place. She almost found herself jumping again as the Umbreon knocked on the door with his paw.\n\n\"Kosa I'm back and I have someone to introduce to you.\" he announced loudly through the door.\n\n\"One second...\" a muffled voice responded back, followed by the sound of some shuffling and then after a few moments \"Ok come in\".\n\nGau pushed on the door and led her inside.\n\nThe inner room was quite large, two big windows lit up the interior which was fairly sparse but for a desk, some shelves, a humble nest and some chests.\n\nGau had failed to mention what species the Guildmaster was but she had of course been expecting someone intimidating and powerful. Gau's personality may have thrown her off a little as the Deputy but he was undoubtedly very strong, the Guildmester must surely be someone impressive. \n\nHowever, that said it took her a moment to even locate the Guildmaster. She knew a little about Everstone, how it adopted the name of Everstone as many of its members tended to choose not to evolve but a Guildmaster generally had to be strong to command the Guild’s respect so she was expecting someone big and intimidating like her old Guildmaster who was a Tyranitar.\n\nSo what she hadn't expected was the tiny form that floated out from behind one of the chests before flying over to meet them\n\nNow it was her turn to be curious, she had never seen a Pokemon like him. He was small about her own size, he had fine pink fur and was floating around the room. He wore a light blue scarf and his large hind paws and long slender tail sported some blue striped socks.\n\nShe had never seen a Pokemon like him but she swore he looked a lot like how she had pictured a Mew, but surely not. She had never met one of course but she had heard a few stories about them. Supposedly they much preferred to live secluded lives alone so were rarely ever seen, to think one was leading a Guild….\n\nGau seemed to pick up on her surprise as he confirmed her suspicions “Ah I guess Mews aren't common either. This is Kosa, the Guildmaster of Everstone'' he then gestured to Myra and added \"Kosa, this is Myra, she is a Sprigatito.\"\n\n\"A Sprigatito huh.. Can't say I've ever seen one, you must have come quite some way.\" Kosa commented as he looked her over appraisingly \"So what brings you to Everstone?\"\n\nMyra hesitated, she was still staring blankly at the Mew. though not simply because of her surprise to see one, there was something she couldn't help but notice.\n\nFirst off as she breathed in she could smell a certain aroma in the air, there was what she guessed to be his normal Mew scent but on top of it was a thicker muskier scent. It wasn't unpleasant but she still had to force herself from wrinkling her nose at the pungent smell.\n\nIt was the sort of scent she had grown used to on her travels, especially when she found herself traveling through a species territory during their mating season. Even so it was something she just couldn't get used to as Sprigatito, they just never smelt like [i]that[/i]. \n\nStill it was unmistakable as to what it was and even if it wasn't the slightly exposed red tip poking out of the Mew's sheathe as well as a small white blotch on his sizable nose kind of gave it away, in fact was that more of it on the chest he had been hiding behind when she entered?.\n\nGau seemed to read her mind again and let out a small cough \"Kosa, you have a little...\" he didn't finish his statement but made a subtle motion of scratching at his nose instead.\n\n\"Oh.. ahh my bad..\" Kosa said, blushing a little but also sounding not too bothered as he flicked it away with the tip of his tail.\n\n\"Couldn't you have waited until I got back? Who was manning the desk?\" Gau chided him.\n\n\"Well you took a lot longer than you usually do so I decided to take a break myself. It's fine anyway, no one ever comes for missions at this time of day. I asked Rein to announce the visitors louder so I could tell if I was really needed.\" Kosa reasoned.\n\n[i]So that was why they had almost made her jump off of her pelt...[/i]\n\nGau was clearly not convinced by his response but he just shrugged \"Well I guess it's fine, I did get side tracked when I met Myra here.\" \n\nMyra had been so distracted by Kosa she had almost forgotten why she was here. Him being a Mew and one that would be so lax as to casually masturbate when on duty... Somehow the slightly shy but responsible Deputy felt normal compared to this unusual Guildmaster.\n\nShe tensed up again when Gau gently placed a paw on her head at the second introduction, with their attention now firmly on her she seemed to have swallowed her tongue.\n\n\"So were you here to put in a request or could you be interested in joining our Guild?\" Kosa asked casually.\n\nShe had been expecting to be quizzed in a formal interview, not a casual conversation with a sweet hearted Umbreon and a Mew who had just blown his lead moments before they entered the room...\n\n\"I uhh.. I was actually thinking of joining the Guild ...\" she stammered finally, though she was starting to wonder if she had made a mistake…\n\n\"Oh fantastic!\" he exclaimed before flying past the white stained chest to the shelves behind, he took a moment to look through the rather untidy papers on one of the shelves until he finally seemed to find what he was looking for [i]\"Aha!''[/i].\n\nFlying back over to them, he hovered down in front of her holding the paper so she could see it \"I’ll just need you to fill this out.\" he announced casually.\n\nShe gave it a quick skim through. Well she was here, sure the Guildmaster and Deputy weren't exactly what she expected but was that really a bad thing? She had left on her journey because she felt tired and overworked at her old Guild.\n\nShe wasn't entirely sure why she was even looking for another Guild. Because it was what she always knew before traveling? She didn't really have any other skills and she didn't have the money to start a business. The idea of just retiring to live a casual life in one place didn't appeal to her either. She wanted to keep busy but she was tired of traveling as well.\n\nWell, what was the harm? She should at least give it a shot. She was never good at writing, she never understood how others managed to do it with their paws or mouth..\n\nShe went on to tell him her details, \n\nName: Myra\nGender: Female\nSpecies: Sprigatito\nType: Grass\n\nAll pretty straight forward.\n\nThen Kosa asked \"Orientation?\".\n\nMyra hesitated. It wasn't as if she was embarrassed or anything but given how she had come to meet the one filling in her form, she couldn't help but feel a little hesitant in sharing her preferences.. She had met a few unsavory types on her travels that had made less than subtle advances on her..\n\nShe looked from Kosa to Gau, both looking back at her with friendly expressions and scolded herself. [i]What was she thinking? [/i]This was a Guild, even if a little different than she was used to. Of course she could trust them.\n\n\"You don't have to say if you don't want to....\" Gau broke in seeing her hesitation but she shook her head.\n\n\"It's fine. I'm Bisexual.\" she finally answered.\n\nKosa let out a small [i]hm[/i] at her answer and before she realized it she quickly blurted out \"Female preference..\"\n\nKosa's eyes seem to droop just ever so slightly at this. Was he just a pervert or was she overthinking things? It wasn't a lie or anything. Potencia Guild, I was never considered a very prominent member, usually getting smaller missions but I worked there for a few years.\"\n\nShe explained not wanting to elaborate too much. In truth the Guild was full of muscle heads who while not cruel, looked down on her even if they never said it outright. Most of them were fully evolved and valued strength above all else. Even the Guildmaster seemed to underestimate her and keep her on smaller missions despite the fact she was stronger than half of the Guild.. \n\nDespite it all she enjoyed her work at the Guild and she was well respected by the locals who she helped a lot with their minor requests and missions. Still she grew weary and decided to travel.\n\nShe hadn't really intended to return to Guild work and while she had grown tired of traveling it wasn't until she started hearing about Everstone that she had really considered settling down again.\n\nEverstone, a guild made up of primarily unevolved pokemon. She had never really wanted to evolve herself, she was comfortable as she was so a Guild that understood that there was more to strength than size resonated with her.\n\nKosa interrupted her thoughts as he exclaimed.\"Ah you even have experience, thanks fantastic.\". Thankfully he didn't press her for more details, seemingly happy with her vague response,\n\n“Then I suppose this last one is a little redundant but why did you want to join the Guild?\" Kosa asked his final question.\n\nShe hesitated for a moment, what should she say? Well at this point she may as well tell the truth. Kosa didn't seem to be the sort of Guildmaster who would judge her for lack of resolve or anything after all.\n\n\"Well I left the Guild to travel for a change of pace but after being alone for a while I wanted to settle down again, while my exploration was exciting it got a little lonely. I heard about Everstone and it sounded like an interesting Guild and since it was the work I was used to I thought I would check it out.\" She stopped then added in a quieter voice [i]\"Though I didn't expect to apply the day I got into town...\".[/i]\n\nKosa must have heard her mutter as he let out a snort \"Gau snatched you up quickly then huh? He certainly has an eye for talent.\"\n\nHe then lifted up the paper and inspected it for a moment.\n\n\"Well that should do it. Welcome to Everstone!\" he exclaimed, stretching his tiny arms in a rather amusing gesture.\n\nMyra was taken aback at this though, [i]was that it? [/i]\n\n\"Don't you want to test me? What if I'm not up to task?\" she couldn't help but blurt out.\n\n\"Well you certainly seem strong enough to me, and you have experience. I don't see any problems.” Kosa said as he casually dismissed her concerns.\n\n[i]What if I'm lying about my strength though?[/i] she thought to herself but didn’t voice herself this time.\n\n\"Besides everyone knows how dangerous dungeons are, no one would lie about their strength and risk their life in one for nothing. Besides I can gauge your strength well enough regardless.\" he ended nonchalantly.\n\nShe didn't doubt he could, psychic type or not she could feel he was strong and capable, stronger than Gau for sure but she couldn't truly get a read on him. At the very least she was pretty sure he was stronger than her old Guildmaster despite his aloof personality.\n\n\"We'll have to find a team to place you in, they may want to test you a little personally, though it shouldn't be anything too serious. Teammates need to understand each other's strengths and weaknesses afterall.\". he explained further.\n\nMyra nodded \"Of course, I wouldn't want to let my teammates down, I'll do my best to get to know them\"\n\n\"Good! I'll ask some of the team leaders when they start returning from missions but if I had to take a guess Team Plasm may take a liking to you..\"\n\nGau let out a snort at this \"Yeah I think Pyre wi” but he was cut off by a new voice.\n\n\"Ohhhh who is this....\"\n\n\"Speak of the devil, can you just sense when a feline species joins the guild? and Pyre I told you that you can't just barge in here without knocking..\" Gau scolded the Litten who had just appeared out of nowhere.\n\n\"Ahh it's fine, I've seen Kosa jerking it tons of times\" she sniffed the air \"Smells like he just did in fact... Anyway...\"\n\nShe turned to Myra “Who is this cutie.. in fact what is this cutie? I've never seen anyone like you before!\". The Litten asked while sniffing Myra uncomfortably closely.\n\n\"I'm Myra.. I'm a Sprigatito. I just signed up to work for the Guild..\" Myra replied, a little taken aback by the Litten’s forward nature. Another weirdo....\n\n\"A Sprigatito.. never heard of it.. But you sure are cute and you smell reaaaally nice. Ok I've decided I'll have this one Kosa...\" she nodded at the Mew as she decided for herself.\n\n\"Well I don't mind but Jaze is your team leader, he should really be the one to decide..\" Kosa pointed out.\n\nAt his mention yet another voice joined the conversation \"It's fine, we'll be happy to have her.. If she wants to join us that is… Pyre give her some space will you..\"\n\nPyre backed off a little and went to sit next to Jaze who had settled down in front of Myra \"I'm Jaze, leader of Team Plasm and this is Pyre, my mate and Team Deputy. Don't mind her... she just gets a little excited around new recruits, especially fellow felines…\"\n\nMyra nodded slowly. [i]Well at least this guy seemed fairly normal...[/i] Was she really ready for this Guild? Well she had already agreed. What the hell may as well go with the flow.\n\n\"I’m Myra, it's nice to meet you, Jaze. I guess I'll join Team Plasm then if you're sure.\" she ended with a wry smile..\n\n\"Of course!\" he replied enthusiastically, then more quietly adding \"Pyre would never forgive me if I let another team take you. after all.\"\n\n\"Well that settles that!\" Kosa broke in. \"I'll leave you in Jaze and Pyre capable paws, they can show you around the Guild and give you the rundown of everything. If you have any questions feel free to come and ask any time.\"\n\nMyea nodded \"Ok, I'll make sure to knock first though\" she couldn't help but jibe. These goofballs were becoming infectious.\n\nKosa returned a smile, blushing slightly as he waved her comment off with his tail.\n\n\"Right then. I guess we should start with a Guild tour..\" Jaze began before he was interrupted by a sudden [i]Ohhhhh[/i].\n\nPyre was now over at the desk where Kosa had left the application form.\n\n\"You're really strong, you'll be of great help to our team. I guess we don't even need to give you any training.. but I suppose we should at least give you a work through the basics. We'll need to really[b][i] test your limits[/i][/b] after all.\"\n\nMyra nodded again in agreement, she wanted to prove herself after all but something about the way Pyre said [i]test your limits[/i] gave her goosebumps, just how was she planning to test her?\n\nJaze didn't seem to notice as he agreed \"We'll have to run some team drills at least so we can best coordinate our attacks,\" He walked over to Pyre and glanced at the paper \"Ohh a grass type will be great for our team diversity! And a protean user, that sounds super useful too!\".\n\n\"Your move choices seem versatile too, you clearly know what you’re doing. You'll be a great asset to the team.\" Jaze finished with a beaming smile in Myra’s direction.\n\nMyra couldn't help but break out in a smile as well, Jaze seemed super friendly, Pyre too if a little over zealous. She had been nodding along to Jaze’s comment but the slight smirk never seemed to drop from her face as she stared down at the paper. She wasn't exactly sure what to make of her just yet.\n\n\"Well we better get to it then, have you got all the paperwork you need now Kosa?\" Jaze asked the Guildmaster.\n\n\"All good, I'll put her team down as Team Plasm.\" he replied.\n\n\"Great, ok come on Myra we'll show you around the Guild.\" Jaze called as he passed her on the way to the door.\n\nShe got up to follow him and Pyre followed from behind, she couldn't help but give a wary look back at her but now her face was unreadable. [i]Was she just overthinking things?[/i]\n\nJaze proceeded to lead her around the Guild. Starting back in the lounge he showed her the dining area and sleeping quarters. Down one more floor were a few unused rooms as well as the storage and archives. Then finally back at the lobby level he showed her the restrooms and just before the entrance was the desk she had seen before which was in fact the reception desk now manned by Gau. \n\nIt didn't take long all in all but by the time they were done and settled down in the lounge it had grown a lot more lively as more Guild Members seemed to have returned from missions.\n\nThe introductions never seemed to end as Jaze walked her around to meet every member. Eventually they settled down in a corner now that all the other members of Team Plasm were present.\n\nMyea could now see why Kosa and Gau thought Pyre would snatch her up. Team Plasm was almost entirely made up of feline species. Alongside Jaze and Pyre, was Pyre's brother Spore, his mate; a Purrloin named Yoru, a Skitty named Rue, another species she had never seen in Buki the Rinring and there were only two none feline members in Orin the Rockruff and his mate Rose the Poocyena.\n\nJaze had been right about needing some diversity. They had two fire types, an electric, rock and normal type and four dark types. There wasn't a lot of variety for the number of members.\n\nHer old guild was quite strict with team balance, they were always built around being as strong as possible so they tended to move pokemon around if any given team felt unbalanced. Everstone seemed completely different. In fact the other teams seemed just as unbalanced. It seemed teams were very relaxed here and were almost just a formality the Guild had stuck to, Members were even free to work with other teams as they pleased although this was usually only when they were well accustomed to each other already.\n\nAfter some introductions and chat they headed outside for some basic sparring.\n\nThe team was as rough as she had expected, the majority were brawlers, Spore was the only special attack and range specialist while Rue was purely support, everyone else focused on physical attacks with a few ranged and support moves mixed in.\n\nMyra was also a physical attacker of course but she added some more variety they desperately needed. With trailblaze to boost her speed and u-turn to switch around with her teammates more freely she found she helped make up for their lack of range.\n\nThey spent most of the late afternoon doing some basic practice to get accustomed to one another and they all seemed pretty satisfied all in all. She was one of the strongest on the team alongside Pyre and Jaze who were a little higher level than her. Technically Rue was actually the higher level but she was backline support anyway.\n\nAfter this most of the team members started to go their own ways, heading home for the night or going over the Spinda's, It was only then that Myra realized she hadn't thought about where she would stay.\n\n\"Oh right I forgot to ask, how does the Guild work for sleeping arrangements? Doe's anyone actually stay there full time? She asked Pyre and Jaze who were still with her.\n\n\"Ahh you won't have anywhere to stay tonight will you? Yeah you're right, no one actually lives at the Guild other than Kosa and I suppose Gau stays there almost all the time except when Lyka drags him home for a break.\" Jaze explained.\n\nPyre then broke in and continued to explain \"The rooms are there for anyone, there's no real rules to it or anything as long as a room is available you are welcome to spend the night there. Me and Jaze do that when we are too tired to go home.\"\n\nMyra nodded. So this was another lax rule. Her old Guild had many rooms where the main Guild members were expected to stay in case they were ever needed. Everstone seemed to have far more members but the building was on the smaller side as it didn’t need to house many members. [i]She wondered how many members Everstone actually had?[/i]\n\nTreasure Town was pretty remote all considered, being surrounded by forest everyone who chose to stay there had the space to make the homes for themselves in the surrounding area. Some of the homes she walked past on the way into town must have belonged to the Guildies.\n\n\"We can all stay at the Guild tonight!” Pyre suddenly called out excitedly “Jaze I know you’ll want to head over to Spinda's so you go ahead, I'll take Myra and let Kosa know we'll be sleeping at the Guild tonight.\".\n\nWell that certainly beat sleeping rough in the forest again. A warm nest sounded nice. She didn't realize how wary she was feeling, she had been traveling for a long time and had got so caught up in everything after all.\n\nPart of her wanted to go and socialize a little with Jaze and the others at the cafe but her body seemed to think otherwise as she let out an involuntary yawn. An early night in a warm nest sounded better.\n\nSo they split ways and Myra found herself following Pyre back to the Guild. Thankfully not many were staying at the guild and they managed to get a room to share no problem.\n\nThey took a little while setting up a couple of nests before returning to the lounge to relax. \n\n\"So what do you think of Everstone so far?\" Pyre asked casually.\n\nMyra pondered her response for a moment before replying \"It's a little unconventional..\"\n\nPyre gave her a curious look \"How so? Because most of us don't evolve?\"\n\n\"Well there's that of course but well, my old Guild was much more strict.. formal.. matter of fact. You all seem so laid back in comparison.\" \n\n\"Is that a bad thing?\" Pyre asked with a playful tinge to her voice.\n\n\"At first I thought so but no I don't think so actually. You all get the work done. I can tell you all take your jobs seriously, if anything I think my old Guild took things too seriously.\"\n\nPyre scooted closer \"What sort of Pokemon did your old Guild have?\"\n\n\"Well.. most of them were fully evolved. It was a Guild that had a lot of pride in its strength. Honestly I don't know why they even accepted me.\"\n\n[i]\"Because you're strong too?\" [/i]Pyre answered in a sarcastic tone as if this was obvious.\n\nMyra snorted \"Well I could probably have beaten at least half of them in a fight but they didn't see it that way, I don't think they could really respect me as a Sprigatito. I was pretty much always taking errand missions. Not that I really minded.\"\n\n\"Is that why you left?\" Pyre asked.\n\n\"Partly, I didn't hate it there or anything. I quite liked it. No one there was cruel to me or anything, they just never really considered me an equal you know? But it was fulfilling enough work, I just grew tired of it I guess and decided to travel.\" Myra reminisced,\n\n\"So you then got lonely and decided to join Everstone on a whim.” Pyre finished for her I read your application\".\n\n\"Yeah I guess that's about it. I wasn't really planning to join another Guild but Everstone just sounded interesting so I came to Treasure Town to see it for myself. It’s unusual for Pokemon to choose not to evolve and a Guild that is supposed to be an icon of strength? It sounded too bizarre to be true..\" Myra clarified.\n\n\"I bet it sounded better than a Guild of muscle heads\" Pyre teased.\n\n\"I guess it did. '' Myra giggled.”Still… It really wasn't what I was expecting, but you know I think I'm going to like it here. I was so tense and nervous when I came but you have all welcomed me so openly I already feel at ease.\"\n\n\"Well I'm glad to hear that..\" Pyre replied, her voice now low as she scooted closer and was practically breathing in her ear. \"You know there is one other thing I noticed on your form.\"\n\n\"W..what?\" Myra asked, suddenly feeling a little nervous. \n\n\"Oh your credentials were all impressive and you have proven your strength already but you know as Team Leader I should do a thorough job testing [b][i]all[/i][/b] of your capabilities.\n\n\"I thought Jaze was Team Le..\" Myra began to argue but Pyre cut her off with a [i]shhh[/i].\n\n\"Technicalities. you see the thing I noticed on your application was the orientation section..\"\n\nMyra stiffened at this \"What about it....\"\n\n\"Well it said BI and you even specified [i]female preference[/i]. This seemed awfully specific and what kind of Teammate would I be if I didn't give the newbie a full on welcome to the guild..\"\n\n\"Wh..\" Myra began to talk again but this time she broke off when she noticed the sensation of a creeping paw stroking the underside of her hind leg, she couldn't help but notice how close it was getting to her...\n\n\n\"Pyre!\" she couldn't help but cry out as the paw made contact.\n\n\"Come now” Pyre soothed her “We’re teammates now, you must be tired and fatigued from the road and our team drills. Really...\"\n\nAnd so ended Myra’s first day as a member of Everstone~","writing_bbcode_parsed":"On one quiet evening a Sprigatito found herself finally escaping the forest she had been traversing onto what looked like a well trodden trail, this in itself was a relief but more so was the slightly crooked sign to the side of it.

Treasure Town

Forgetting her fatigue she ran over to the sign and turned to where it was pointing. Yes she could see what were unmistakably buildings of a well developed town. She was almost there!

Her spirits lifted, she set off along the dirt path with a spring in her step, just happy to be able to visit the first town she had seen in days, the fact it was the one she had been seeking was just a bonus.

She enjoyed her travels but she did get a little lonely when she went long stretches without social contact and while she had seen Pokemon on her way, they were usually suspicious or outright hostile. She was looking forward to being able to meet some more civilized and hopefully welcoming Pokemon in the town.

She had been on the grass continent for a while now and she had heard of Treasure Town many times. How it was once home to the legendary Wigglytuff's Guild that saved the world. Supposedly it still existed though it was apparently now called Everstone. This was actually why she was really excited to find Treasure Town, she wanted to join the Guild if she could. She had enjoyed her travels, she had explored several continents but she was growing a little wary of traveling alone.

Myra wanted to settle down again, but she knew she would grow restless without a fulfilling purpose and so she decided to return to what she knew, rescue work like she had done back home many years ago.

Soon enough she found herself entering the town, there were a lot of houses along the outskirts, they all varied in style and size in a sort of haphazard but charming way. It certainly seemed like it had expanded greatly over time as when she finally made it to what looked to be the main hub of the town it wasn't all that big. A few businesses dotted around the center as well as a large hill that she assumed must house the Guild.

Stopping in the center of the town she considered whether she should just head straight to the Guild. She should probably get to know the town a little first, maybe get to know some of the locals who knew the Guild well. Where to begin though? As she stood there indecisively she almost jumped out of her fur as a voice suddenly spoke to her from behind.

"Hello, are you new in town?"

She whirled herself around to face the newcomer and found herself looking up at a handsome looking Umbreon with unusual blue eyes. He had a gentle smile on his face.

"Ah sorry, yes I am. Was it that obvious?" Myra blurted out after composing herself.

He let out a short chuckle "No, I just know pretty much everyone in town and I'm pretty sure we don't have any.. um sorry I don't actually know what species you are.."

She gave a wary smile, she was used to this. No one on this continent seemed to have seen anyone like her before "Oh I'm a Sprigatito. I've come quite a way from my home continent so there probably isn't many of us around.".

He nodded "Ahh well it's nice to see a fresh face around! Would you like to have a drink? You must be pretty tired if you just got into town." he motioned his muzzle to what looked to be hole with a staircase going underground.

A sign stood next to it saying

Spinda's Cafe

She suddenly realized how parched she was, it had been a while since she had drank anything so after a moment's hesitation she decided to take him up on his offer "I'd love to, thanks".

The Umbreon soft smile widened "Great! Oh and my name is Gau. Nice to meet you."

"I’m Myra," she replied politely.

"That's a pretty name" he murmured in genuinely causing her to blush a little.

He didn;t seem to notice though as he continued talking "Well you must be thirsty, I'll treat you. it shouldn't be too busy this time of day." he reassured her, guessing at the fact she was a little too tired to want to introduce herself to half the town.

She proceeded to follow the Umbreon down the stairway until it opened up into a spacious open room. Tables dotted around on the wooden floor and a bar lined the far wall. As Gau had said, it was quiet, only the bartender who was unsurprisingly a Spinda and a couple of other pokemon were in there.

They all turned to look at them and despite them obviously being curious about her none of them got up or said anything.

Gau walked over to the bar and then suddenly stopped, looking back at her he asked "Have you tried a gummi shake before?"

She had come to learn that gummis were common on this continent. She had heard of them before but no other continent had them in such abundance as the grass continent. She had tried a couple already though she hadn't had a shake.

"I've had a few gummis, but not a shake." she admitted.

"Oh well you are in for a treat!" he exclaimed before turning back to the bartender "Hey Furu, could I get one of my usual black gummi shakes and a uhh" he paused and looked back at Myra again.

"Sorry Myra, what type are Sprigatito?"

She blinked at his seemingly random question "We are grass type, why?"

"Oh well gummis come in all sorts of flavors and generally every type has a specific favorite. Like black gummis taste good to dark types like myself, though that isn't the case for everyone. I thought you should try the obvious choice for your first shake." he explained.

"Ahh I see, that makes sense. Then I should try a green one right?" she said following the logic.

He chucked "Actually that's for bug types, grass types have the grass gummi..." he trailed off "Don't ask me who decided the names for them all..".

He then returned his attention to the Spinda "That will be a black gummi shake and a grass gummi shake then please!"

"No problem Gau, coming right up. go sit at a table, I'll bring them over for you." Furu replied.

As they sat down and waited for the shakes Myra couldn't help but ask "So I guess you are well known around here then?" given the fact he said he knew everyone in town and was on friendly terms with the cafe owner after all.

"Well ye.." he began to reply before he was cut off by the clank of two glasses being placed on the table.

That was fast, Myra couldn't but marvel at how quickly he had prepared the shakes. She looked at the glass placed in front of her. It was a light green and smelled sweet and incredibly enticing. Gau's drink on the other paw was dark and had a far more pungent aroma. She was suddenly thankful he hadn't just ordered her his personal favorite.

Her thoughts were interrupted by Furu who sat down at the table next to Gau as he began to answer the question he had interrupted.

"Well I'd be surprised if anyone in town didn't know him. He's the Guild's Deputy afterall and the place probably wouldn't run without him. I mean no offense against Kosa or anything but we all know who works the hardest."

Gau’s dark furred face suddenly grew crimson at the complement "Everyone works hard.." he tried to argue as he suppressed a smile, his tail wagging ever so slightly.

"Of course they do, but we all know you do all your Deputy duties, missions and help around town wherever you can. I'm not calling anyone else lazy. I'm saying you…" He flicked the Umbreon’s ear with a paw. "Work too damn hard. so I insist you take a proper break."

So this was the Guild Deputy? She could tell he was very strong and it sounded like he was very responsible and trustworthy but something about seeing him blush at the Spinda's words made him seem gentle at the same time. She was so used to the top brass of Guilds always putting on a show of being strong and tough she couldn't help but let out a snort at the ridiculous sight.

This however seemed to just draw the Spinda's attention to her as he turned to look at her.

"And who is this? A new recruit? A Sprigatito was it? You certainly are a cutie. I'm sure you'll fit right in..." he broke off in a barely audible whisper "Well until that Pyre girl learns a new feline is in town, she may just eat you alive".

"Furu! Pyre's not that bad" Gau retorted. "Besides she just got into town, she's probably just passing through." he looked down at her "Or did you come to join the Guild?" he asked curiously.

"Well actually.. I was considering applying." she admitted, not expecting to reveal her interest in the Guild quite like this.

"Oh!" he exclaimed clearly having not expected her to say yes.

"Well there you have it" the Spinda broke in, giving Myra a hefty pat on the back "Yet another adorable cutie for your ranks. Now I insist you both take your time and enjoy yourself, you should show her around town."

"But.." Gau tried to argue.

"The Guild can last half a afternoon without you, take it off and show the greeny around!" Furu insisted.

"I.. fine." Gau conceded.

Myra let out another involuntary giggle at how this supposed Guild Deputy was being bossed around by the bartender of the local cafe.

"Sorry Myra, I 'd be happy to show you around." He smiled down at her.

This seemed to satisfy Furu who got up and returned to the bar in a bit of a wobble. How does he manage to carry the drinks like that?.. She couldn’t help but wonder..

And so after finishing their drinks of which Myra thoroughly enjoyed Gau took her around the town. Introducing her to many of the residents. the Kecleon store, the bank, storage center and so forth until finally they came back to the Guild steps.

"So Myra, were you really thinking of joining the Guild?" he asked as they looked at the towards the towering Guild.

She nodded, "I've been traveling for about a year now but I think I want to finally settle down again." she explained

"That makes sense, we have a few members who ended up here for similar reasons. What makes you want to join a Guild though?" he pressed on.

"Oh well.." She began suddenly remembering he was the Deputy and was probably testing her resolve.

Gau shook his head, seeming to notice her concern  "Oh sorry, I'm not testing you or anything, don't worry. I'm just curious. I'll leave any questions for Kosa, he's our Guildmaster, Come on I'll introduce you"

Suddenly she found herself following him up the steps and into the Guild. Suddenly her stomach felt like it was full of butterfrees. She wasn't quite prepared for an interview.

Even so, before she knew it they were standing in front of the Guild.

She followed the Umbreon, crossing a wooden grate in front of the entrance and actually jumped a foot in the air as a loud voice boomed from below them

"Pokemon detected, Pokemon detected!"

"Whose footprint, whose footprint?"

"The footprint is Gau and.."

"And.."

Gau let out a snort before bending down and looking down through the grate "She’s a Sprigatito"

"The footprint is Spri.. atito's!"

"You may Enter!"

Gau sighed "Sorry about that Myra, we always have a sentry and some take it a little more seriously than others.."

Myra licked her chest fur in embarrassment "It's fine. it just caught me by surprise."

After that they climbed down into the main lobby which was empty. They passed a desk which she assumed was used as a reception desk but no one was there. Gau seemed to let out a sigh as they passed it but he didn't say anything as they climbed down another floor into the lounge which was also empty, a little ways in she found herself stood in front of a large wooden door.

"This is Kosa's room, he’s our Guildmatser" Gau reminded her.

Once again her nerves came over her as she stiffened in place. She almost found herself jumping again as the Umbreon knocked on the door with his paw.

"Kosa I'm back and I have someone to introduce to you." he announced loudly through the door.

"One second..." a muffled voice responded back, followed by the sound of some shuffling and then after a few moments "Ok come in".

Gau pushed on the door and led her inside.

The inner room was quite large, two big windows lit up the interior which was fairly sparse but for a desk, some shelves, a humble nest and some chests.

Gau had failed to mention what species the Guildmaster was but she had of course been expecting someone intimidating and powerful. Gau's personality may have thrown her off a little as the Deputy but he was undoubtedly very strong, the Guildmester must surely be someone impressive.

However, that said it took her a moment to even locate the Guildmaster. She knew a little about Everstone, how it adopted  the name of Everstone as many of its members tended to choose not to evolve but a Guildmaster generally had to be strong to command the Guild’s respect so she was expecting someone big and intimidating like her old Guildmaster who was a Tyranitar.

So what she hadn't expected was the tiny form that floated out from behind one of the chests before flying over to meet them

Now it was her turn to be curious, she had never seen a Pokemon like him. He was small about her own size, he had fine pink fur and was floating around the room. He wore a light blue scarf and his large hind paws and long slender tail sported some blue striped socks.

She had never seen a Pokemon like him but she swore he looked a lot like how she had pictured a Mew, but surely not. She had never met one of course but she had heard a few stories about them. Supposedly they much preferred to live secluded lives alone so were rarely ever seen, to think one was leading a Guild….

Gau seemed to pick up on her surprise as he confirmed her suspicions “Ah I guess Mews aren't common either. This is Kosa, the Guildmaster of Everstone'' he then gestured to Myra and added "Kosa, this is Myra, she is a Sprigatito."

"A Sprigatito huh.. Can't say I've ever seen one, you must have come quite some way." Kosa commented as he looked her over appraisingly "So what brings you to Everstone?"

Myra hesitated, she was still staring blankly at the Mew. though not simply because of her surprise to see one, there was something she couldn't help but notice.

First off as she breathed in she could smell a certain aroma in the air, there was what she guessed to be his normal Mew scent but on top of it was a thicker muskier scent. It wasn't unpleasant but she still had to force herself from wrinkling her nose at the pungent smell.

It was the sort of scent she had grown used to on her travels, especially when she found herself traveling through a species territory during their mating season. Even so it was something she just couldn't get used to as Sprigatito, they just never smelt like that.

Still it was unmistakable as to what it was and even if it wasn't the slightly exposed red tip poking out of the Mew's sheathe as well as a small white blotch on his sizable nose kind of gave it away, in fact was that more of it on the chest he had been hiding behind when she entered?.

Gau seemed to read her mind again and let out a small cough "Kosa, you have a little..." he didn't finish his statement but made a subtle motion of scratching at his nose instead.

"Oh.. ahh my bad.." Kosa said, blushing a little but also sounding not too bothered as he flicked it away with the tip of his tail.

"Couldn't you have waited until I got back? Who was manning the desk?" Gau chided him.

"Well you took a lot longer than you usually do so I decided to take a break myself. It's fine anyway, no one ever comes for missions at this time of day. I asked Rein to announce the visitors louder so I could tell if I was really needed." Kosa reasoned.

So that was why they had almost made her jump off of her pelt...

Gau was clearly not convinced by his response but he just shrugged "Well I guess it's fine, I did get side tracked when I met Myra here."

Myra had been so distracted by Kosa she had almost forgotten why she was here. Him being a Mew and one that would be so lax as to casually masturbate when on duty... Somehow the slightly shy but responsible Deputy felt normal compared to this unusual Guildmaster.

She tensed up again when Gau gently placed a paw on her head at the second introduction, with their attention now firmly on her she seemed to have swallowed her tongue.

"So were you here to put in a request or could you be interested in joining our Guild?" Kosa asked casually.

She had been expecting to be quizzed in a formal interview, not a casual conversation with a sweet hearted Umbreon and a Mew who had just blown his lead moments before they entered the room...

"I uhh.. I was actually thinking of joining the Guild ..." she stammered finally, though she was starting to wonder if she had made a mistake…

"Oh fantastic!" he exclaimed before flying past the white stained chest to the shelves behind, he took a moment to look through the rather untidy papers on one of the shelves until he finally seemed to find what he was looking for "Aha!''.

Flying back over to them, he hovered down in front of her holding the paper so she could see it "I’ll just need you to fill this out." he announced casually.

She gave it a quick skim through. Well she was here, sure the Guildmaster and Deputy weren't exactly what she expected but was that really a bad thing? She had left on her journey because she felt tired and overworked at her old Guild.

She wasn't entirely sure why she was even looking for another Guild. Because it was what she always knew before traveling? She didn't really have any other skills and she didn't have the money to start a business. The idea of just retiring to live a casual life in one place didn't appeal to her either. She wanted to keep busy but she was tired of traveling as well.

Well, what was the harm? She should at least give it a shot. At the very least she couldn't see them being upset if she gave it up shortly after.

Ok she would do it!

Kosa floated over to the desk and picked up a pencil with what she assumed must be his psychic. He settled down behind the desk and looked over at her "I'll fill it in, if you could just answer the fields for me." .

She was quite thankful for that. She was never good at writing, she never understood how others managed to do it with their paws or mouth..

She went on to tell him her details,

Then Kosa asked "Orientation?".

Myra hesitated. It wasn't as if she was embarrassed or anything but given how she had come to meet the one filling in her form, she couldn't help but feel a little hesitant in sharing her preferences.. She had met a few unsavory types on her travels that had made less than subtle advances on her..

She looked from Kosa to Gau, both looking back at her with friendly expressions and scolded herself. What was she thinking? This was a Guild, even if a little different than she was used to. Of course she could trust them.

"You don't have to say if you don't want to...." Gau broke in seeing her hesitation but she shook her head.

"It's fine. I'm Bisexual." she finally answered.

Kosa let out a small hm at her answer and before she realized it she quickly blurted out "Female preference.."

Kosa's eyes seem to droop just ever so slightly at this. Was he just a pervert or was she overthinking things? It wasn't a lie or anything. She really did prefer females, males were fine but as Kosa had nonchalantly shown her they tended to get a bit musky, females were usually a little fresher which Sprigatito generally preferred...

Not that she would be adding that to her application...

She continued to answer the following questions.

She explained not wanting to elaborate too much. In  truth the Guild was full of muscle heads who while not cruel, looked down on her even if they never said it outright. Most of them were fully evolved and valued strength above all else. Even the Guildmaster seemed to underestimate her and keep her on smaller missions despite the fact she was stronger than half of the Guild..

Despite it all she enjoyed her work at the Guild and she was well respected by the locals who she helped a lot with their minor requests and missions. Still she grew weary and decided to travel.

She hadn't really intended to return to Guild work and while she had grown tired of traveling it wasn't until she started hearing about Everstone that she had really considered settling down again.

Everstone, a guild made up of primarily unevolved pokemon. She had never really wanted to evolve herself, she was comfortable as she was so a Guild that understood that there was more to strength than size resonated with her.

Kosa interrupted her thoughts as he exclaimed."Ah you even have experience, thanks fantastic.". Thankfully he didn't press her for more details, seemingly happy with her vague response,

“Then I suppose this last one is a little redundant but why did you want to join the Guild?" Kosa asked his final question.

She hesitated for a moment, what should she say? Well at this point she may as well tell the truth. Kosa didn't seem to be the sort of Guildmaster who would judge her for lack of resolve or anything after all.

"Well I left the Guild to travel for a change of pace but after being alone for a while I wanted to settle down again, while my exploration was exciting it got a little lonely. I heard about Everstone and it sounded like an interesting Guild and since it was the work I was used to I thought I would check it out." She stopped then added in a quieter voice "Though I didn't expect to apply the day I got into town...".

Kosa must have heard her mutter as he let out a snort "Gau snatched you up quickly then huh? He certainly has an eye for talent."

He then lifted up the paper and inspected it for a moment.

"Well that should do it. Welcome to Everstone!" he exclaimed, stretching his tiny arms in a rather amusing gesture.

Myra was taken aback at this though, was that it?

"Don't you want to test me? What if I'm not up to task?" she couldn't help but blurt out.

"Well you certainly seem strong enough to me, and you have experience. I don't see any problems.” Kosa said as he casually dismissed her concerns.

What if I'm lying about my strength though? she thought to herself but didn’t voice herself this time.

"Besides everyone knows how dangerous dungeons are, no one would lie about their strength and risk their life in one for nothing. Besides I can gauge your strength well enough regardless." he ended nonchalantly.

She didn't doubt he could, psychic type or not she could feel he was strong and capable, stronger than Gau for sure but she couldn't truly get a read on him. At the very least she was pretty sure he was stronger than her old Guildmaster despite his aloof personality.

"We'll have to find a team to place you in, they may want to test you a little personally, though it shouldn't be anything too serious. Teammates need to understand each other's strengths and weaknesses afterall.". he explained further.

Myra nodded "Of course, I wouldn't want to let my teammates down, I'll do my best to get to know them"

"Good! I'll ask some of the team leaders when they start returning from missions but if I had to take a guess Team Plasm may take a liking to you.."

Gau let out a snort at this "Yeah I think Pyre wi” but he was cut off by a new voice.

"Ohhhh who is this...."

"Speak of the devil, can you just sense when a feline species joins the guild? and Pyre I told you that you can't just barge in here without knocking.." Gau scolded the Litten who had just appeared out of nowhere.

"Ahh it's fine, I've seen Kosa jerking it tons of times" she sniffed the air "Smells like he just did in fact... Anyway..."

She turned to Myra “Who is this cutie.. in fact what is this cutie? I've never seen anyone like you before!". The Litten asked while sniffing Myra uncomfortably closely.

"I'm Myra.. I'm a Sprigatito. I just signed up to work for the Guild.." Myra replied, a little taken aback by the Litten’s forward nature. Another weirdo....

"A Sprigatito.. never heard of it.. But you sure are cute and you smell reaaaally nice. Ok I've decided I'll have this one Kosa..." she nodded at the Mew as she decided for herself.

"Well I don't mind but Jaze is your team leader, he should really be the one to decide.." Kosa pointed out.

At his mention yet another voice joined the conversation "It's fine, we'll be happy to have her.. If she wants to join us that is… Pyre give her some space will you.."

Pyre backed off a little and went to sit next to Jaze who had settled down in front of Myra "I'm Jaze, leader of Team Plasm and this is Pyre, my mate and Team Deputy. Don't mind her... she just gets a little excited around new recruits, especially fellow felines…"

Myra nodded slowly. Well at least this guy seemed fairly normal... Was she really ready for this Guild? Well she had already agreed. What the hell may as well go with the flow.

"I’m Myra, it's nice to meet you, Jaze. I guess I'll join Team Plasm then if you're sure." she ended with a wry smile..

"Of course!" he replied enthusiastically, then more quietly adding "Pyre would never forgive me if I let another team take you. after all."

"Well that settles that!" Kosa broke in. "I'll leave you in Jaze and Pyre capable paws, they can show you around the Guild and give you the rundown of everything. If you have any questions feel free to come and ask any time."

Myea nodded  "Ok, I'll make sure to knock first though" she couldn't help but jibe. These goofballs were becoming infectious.

Kosa returned a smile, blushing slightly as he waved her comment off with his tail.

"Right then. I guess we should start with a Guild tour.." Jaze began before he was interrupted by a sudden Ohhhhh.

Pyre was now over at the desk where Kosa had left the application form.

"You're really strong, you'll be of great help to our team. I guess we don't even need to give you any training.. but I suppose we should at least give you a work through the basics. We'll need to really test your limits after all."

Myra nodded again in agreement, she wanted to prove herself after all but something about the way Pyre said test your limits gave her goosebumps, just how was she planning to test her?

Jaze didn't seem to notice as he agreed "We'll have to run some team drills at least so we can best coordinate our attacks," He walked over to Pyre and glanced at the paper "Ohh a grass type will be great for our team diversity! And a protean user, that sounds super useful too!".

"Your move choices seem versatile too, you clearly know what you’re doing. You'll be a great asset to the team." Jaze finished with a beaming smile in Myra’s direction.

Myra couldn't help but break out in a smile as well, Jaze seemed super friendly, Pyre too if a little over zealous. She had been nodding along to Jaze’s comment but the slight smirk never seemed to drop from her face as she stared down at the paper. She wasn't exactly sure what to make of her just yet.

"Well we better get to it then, have you got all the paperwork you need now Kosa?" Jaze asked the Guildmaster.

"All good, I'll put her team down as Team Plasm." he replied.

"Great, ok come on Myra we'll show you around the Guild." Jaze called as he passed her on the way to the door.

She got up to follow him and Pyre followed from behind, she couldn't help but give a wary look back at her but now her face was unreadable. Was she just overthinking things?

Jaze proceeded to lead her around the Guild. Starting back in the lounge he showed her the dining area and sleeping quarters. Down one more floor were a few unused rooms as well as the storage and archives. Then finally back at the lobby level he showed her the restrooms and just before the entrance was the desk she had seen before which was in fact the reception desk now manned by Gau.

It didn't take long all in all but by the time they were done and settled down in the lounge it had grown a lot more lively as more Guild Members seemed to have returned from missions.

The introductions never seemed to end as Jaze walked her around to meet every member. Eventually they settled down in a corner now that all the other members of Team Plasm were present.

Myea could now see why Kosa and Gau thought Pyre would snatch her up. Team Plasm was almost entirely made up of feline species. Alongside Jaze and Pyre, was Pyre's brother Spore, his mate; a Purrloin named Yoru, a Skitty named Rue, another species she had never seen in Buki the Rinring and there were only two none feline members in Orin the Rockruff and his mate Rose the Poocyena.

Jaze had been right about needing some diversity. They had two fire types, an electric, rock and normal type  and four dark types. There wasn't a lot of variety for the number of members.

Her old guild was quite strict with team balance, they were always built around being as strong as possible so they tended to move pokemon around if any given team felt unbalanced. Everstone seemed completely different. In fact the other teams seemed just as unbalanced. It seemed teams were very relaxed here and were almost just a formality the Guild had stuck to, Members were even free to work with other teams as they pleased although this was usually only when they were well accustomed to each other already.

After some introductions and chat they headed outside for some basic sparring.

The team was as rough as she had expected, the majority were brawlers, Spore was the only special attack and range specialist while Rue was purely support, everyone else focused on physical attacks with a few ranged and support moves mixed in.

Myra was also a physical attacker of course but she added some more variety they desperately needed. With trailblaze to boost her speed and u-turn to switch around with her teammates more freely she found she helped make up for their lack of range.

They spent most of the late afternoon doing some basic practice to get accustomed to one another and they all seemed pretty satisfied all in all. She was one of the strongest on the team alongside Pyre and Jaze who were a little higher level than her. Technically Rue was actually the higher level but she was backline support anyway.

After this most of the team members started to go their own ways, heading home for the night or going over the Spinda's, It was only then that Myra realized she hadn't thought about where she would stay.

"Oh right I forgot to ask, how does the Guild work for sleeping arrangements? Doe's anyone actually stay there full time? She asked Pyre and Jaze who were still with her.

"Ahh you won't have anywhere to stay tonight will you? Yeah you're right, no one actually lives at the Guild other than Kosa and I suppose Gau stays there almost all the time except when Lyka drags him home for a break." Jaze explained.

Pyre then broke in and continued to explain "The rooms are there for anyone, there's no real rules to it or anything as long as a room is available you are welcome to spend the night there. Me and Jaze do that when we are too tired to go home."

Myra nodded. So this was another lax rule. Her old Guild had many rooms where the main Guild members were expected to stay in case they were ever needed. Everstone seemed to have far more members but the building was on the smaller side as it didn’t need to house many members. She wondered how many members Everstone actually had?

Treasure Town was pretty remote all considered, being surrounded by forest everyone who chose to stay there had the space to make the homes for themselves in the surrounding area. Some of the homes she walked past on the way into town must have belonged to the Guildies.

"We can all stay at the Guild tonight!” Pyre suddenly called out excitedly “Jaze I know you’ll want to head over to Spinda's so you go ahead, I'll take Myra and let Kosa know we'll be sleeping at the Guild tonight.".

Well that certainly beat sleeping rough in the forest again. A warm nest sounded nice. She didn't realize how wary she was feeling, she had been traveling for a long time and had got so caught up in everything after all.

Part of her wanted to go and socialize a little with Jaze and the others at the cafe but her body seemed to think otherwise as she let out an involuntary yawn. An early night in a warm nest sounded better.

So they split ways and Myra found herself following Pyre back to the Guild. Thankfully not many were staying at the guild and they managed to get a room to share no problem.

They took a little while setting up a couple of nests before returning to the lounge to relax.

"So what do you think of Everstone so far?" Pyre asked casually.

Myra pondered her response for a moment before replying "It's a little unconventional.."

Pyre gave her a curious look "How so? Because most of us don't evolve?"

"Well there's that of course but well, my old Guild was much more strict.. formal.. matter of fact. You all seem so laid back in comparison."

"Is that a bad thing?" Pyre asked with a playful tinge to her voice.

"At first I thought so but no I don't think so actually. You all get the work done. I can tell you all take your jobs seriously, if anything I think my old Guild took things too seriously."

Pyre scooted closer "What sort of Pokemon did your old Guild have?"

"Well.. most of them were fully evolved. It was a Guild that had a lot of pride in its strength. Honestly I don't know why they even accepted me."

"Because you're strong too?" Pyre answered in a sarcastic tone as if this was obvious.

Myra snorted "Well I could probably have beaten at least half of them in a fight but they didn't see it that way, I don't think they could really respect me as a Sprigatito. I was pretty much always taking errand missions. Not that I really minded."

"Is that why you left?" Pyre asked.

"Partly, I didn't hate it there or anything. I quite liked it. No one there was cruel to me or anything, they just never really considered me an equal you know? But it was fulfilling enough work, I just grew tired of it I guess and decided to travel." Myra reminisced,

"So you then got lonely and decided to join Everstone on a whim.” Pyre finished for her I read your application".

"Yeah I guess that's about it. I wasn't really planning to join another Guild but Everstone just sounded interesting so I came to Treasure Town to see it for myself. It’s unusual for Pokemon to choose not to evolve and a Guild that is supposed to be an icon of strength? It sounded too bizarre to be true.." Myra clarified.

"I bet it sounded better than a Guild of muscle heads" Pyre teased.

"I guess it did. '' Myra giggled.”Still… It really wasn't what I was expecting, but you know I think I'm going to like it here. I was so tense and nervous when I came but you have all welcomed me so openly I already feel at ease."

"Well I'm glad to hear that.." Pyre replied, her voice now low as she scooted closer and was practically breathing in her ear. "You know there is one other thing I noticed on your form."

"W..what?" Myra asked, suddenly feeling a little nervous.

"Oh your credentials were all impressive and you have proven your strength already but you know as Team Leader I should do a thorough job testing all of your capabilities.

"I thought Jaze was Team Le.." Myra began to argue but Pyre cut her off with a shhh.

"Technicalities. you see the thing I noticed on your application was the orientation section.."

Myra stiffened at this "What about it...."

"Well it said BI and you even specified female preference. This seemed awfully specific and what kind of Teammate would I be if I didn't give the newbie a full on welcome to the guild.."

"Wh.." Myra began to talk again but this time she broke off when she noticed the sensation of a creeping paw stroking the underside of her hind leg, she couldn't help but notice how close it was getting to her...


"Pyre!" she couldn't help but cry out as the paw made contact.

Myra was silent for a long moment, partly out of sheer surprise at the Litten’s less than subtle advances but also because the question stumped her. She had been traveling for about a year now and she hadn't stayed in any one place long enough to get well acquainted enough with anyone. Even back in her Guild days she didn't fool around all that often but she had a couple of partners in town that she would go to. There was a Pawmi who knew just how to prerss her buttons and a Fidough who always tasted good.. Leaving them behind was honestly the hardest part when she started her travels.

Had she really not had an action in a year? Of course she had attended to herself when the need arose but it was never quite the same. She had never really thought about it,

She remembered that look Pyre had given her when she was reading her application, had she been planning this ambush all day? Was this normal behavior for her? Not that she could really judge, she had to admit she had been giving some of the others a few look overs. Despite her personality she couldn’t deny Pyre was cute, Yoru and Rue, even the intimating looking Poochyena Rose had caught her eye.
Even the guys, Jaze was an adorable sweetheart, Spore was cute and even Orin was handsome though a little grumpy.. What had she been thinking about? Was she really that pent up?

"Mhm you came pretty damn quickly, I wouldn't say you're at Kano's level or anything but you could certainly use some work.." Pyre noted.

"Kano?" Myra asked, tilting her head confused.

"Oh right, he's a Growlithe. he's an innocent goof but he can't hold an orgasm to save his life and boy have we tried to help him.."

"Oh and it looks like our new recruit has settled in just fine.." Gau told Kosa as he finished his report.

Kosa seemed to read between the lines "Ah so Pyre gave her her usual welcome then?"

Gau nodded, having walked past the pair on his way to Kosa’s room.

"Well I’m glad she relaxed, she seemed a little tense when you brought her in. Think she'll stick around?" Kosa asked.

"I think she will." Gau nodded again.

"Shame she isn't much for males though..." Kosa muttered

Gau let out an exasperated sigh "Guildmaster.. Really..."
