Kitsu’s Eevee Rescue

Kitsu and Rosa watched as Gau put up the morning missions.

Letting out a small sigh of relief he padded around the cluster to confirm it was indeed the Eevee he was seeking.

Just as he made his way around another squeal breeched his ear floof.

"Ahh please.. I don't want to fight. I'm just lost!" came the anguished cry from what was most certainly an Eevee curled up in the nook of two rocks looking terrified.

The Fennekin was a little taken aback, it was rare for anyone to see him as a threat let alone be scared of him. It took him a moment to collect his words.

"Oh It's fine! Don’t worry, I'm from Everstone Guild. I've actually came to find you".

"A Guild?" the Eevee asked tentatively, slowly seeming to relax a little "Really?"

Kitsu nodded "We received a mission to come find you, I'm sorry I took so long."

“Ah no. T..thank you for coming. Are you alone?" she asked looking around as if expecting others to appear.

"Yeah just me, my usual partner is off on another mission" he confirmed

The Eevee looked a little discouraged at this but didn't say anything more as they stood up and slowly padded to up to the Fennekin. She still looked a little uncertain but his calm demeanour seemed to reassure her he was genuine. Now he had a proper look he could tell she was a female Eevee, and a cute one at that.

He gave her his most comforting smile "Don't worry, I'm more than strong enough to solo this dungeon, I won't let you get hurt."

This seemed to comfort the Eevee, her face seeming to relax as she muttered "Al..alright".

He noticed she was sweating and a little shaky on her paws, realizing it must be awful in this hot dungeon for an Eevee and their thick fur. "We should get a move on and get you out of here. Are you ok to walk?"
