The fourth entry into my "Frantic Flash Fiction Fervor" series. I can now officially mark "Made myself break down and cry over a story I'm actively writing" off of my Author Bingo card. Before everything dropped about my house, I'd started discovering something new about myself, and this made it hit home a lot harder than I thought it would.
To the plural, the trans*, the eldritch horrors, the non-Euclidians, my fellow *kin and therians, and everyone who doesn't neatly fit into the boxes of others perceptions, you are seen. You are loved. Even if it feels like you're alone, know you are loved.

"writing": "She looked at herself, looking at herself in the mirror. A mirror with no frame or glass, standing before her and waving of its own accord. Three in total, even as a fourth appeared behind them. Another holding a camera, walking into a room that soon became a convention of one and many. A greeting behind a podium, introducing herself to her selves. Behind them, hung on the wall, three flags. A seven-pointed star within a circle adorned one on the left. On the right, a triangle, and a circle with a line horizontal along its equator. In the middle, a circle, filled with four overlapping colored circles, creating a rainbow of colors in the overlaps, and a rainbow where they all met in the center.\n\nA wolf, a dragon, a mouse, and a cat, all sat behind a table to give their panel as the room filled out. Two of another dragoness joined the group from where they had mirrored each other. They already knew their names as they made them known, and they all knew their name as they shouted it in unison. One shared among the many and the single.\n\nThe crowd cheered, the masked and unmasked, as one of them howled out in welcome to a newcomer. A part of the pack, the pride, the pod, the herd, and the flock. Another bedroom in the hotel of a home, filled by a nervous soul seeking acceptance and love from the many of the one. Hugs among the groups, comforting wings and arms and paws embracing them. Hooves stamping in beat, and fists pumping into the air.\nThe white feline felt small, yet they hoisted her up to join them, along with her identical other. None left in the darkness, none left to be lonely and afraid. Propped atop the heads of the dragonesses, so that all could see and meet them with their eyes. Not a child, but a friend. A friend to herself, and her selves, and those who had joined her selves.\n\nThe buffet provided joy and pride, with drinks of happiness on the side. The table ensured they were all together, even when given all the space they needed. The panel gave everyone a chance to ask questions, many with their answers already known. The crowd gave their support, no matter how small or large.\n\nThe kittens sat up, tears in their eyes. They were finally home.",
