Being a completely made-up race of creatures, I feel like I have more liberty with what I do with them. So much that they have become an outlet for me. The reason I've given to myself is that the Retcan are a very ancient race and they have seen pretty much everything in the Universe when it comes to technology and societies. That makes them very wise and very aware of themselves and their place in the universe.\n\nFollowing my tendencies when it comes to creating races of furred animal-like intelligent beings, I keep them as opposite as us humans as possible. They are very much like the Evos in the sense that they live in natural harmony with each others, with no taboo, abstracts beliefs, preconceived ideologies, baseless rules, etc. Not by choice, but by nature. What makes them different, is that unlike the Evos, the Retcan are 100% aware that there are some races and civilizations that base their societies in these \"rules\" (like us humans) and they understand it.YOu can kind of say they have lost their innocence a bit, but they never lose their essence.\n\nBut I digress...\n\nWhat I'm getting to is that the Retcan can be very much like the Evos when it comes to bonding with each others. These breed names don't correspond to any 'social status' of any kind, but their two main home planets which they inhabit correspondingly.\n\n\nSorry... it was a long day at work.
