\n\nJOKER. \n\nfirst....this movie is basically TAXI DRIVER, REDUX. is that simple. sounds like a complaint, but believe me, it ain't. this movie is a masterpiece in cinematography, edition, color theory and most of all, performances. JOAQUIN PHOENIX IS THE JOKER. and please.....let heath ledger go.....ledger was amazing, yes...but....PHOENIX'S JOKER IS SCARINGLY REAL, REAL, POSSIBLE, FACTIBLE, IT MAY HAPPEN. and that makes it more scary....phoenix's joker is real. and that's what has so many sjw's and snow flakes on a twist. and, that's what i love the most about this movie....IT CAN ACTUALLY HAPPEN. \n\ncolor palette and cinematography. THIS MOVIE MUST WIN AT LEAST THREE OSCARS NEXT YEAR. PERIOD. ond its cinematography is amazing. THE COLORS, THE AMAZING COLORS. the colors and visuals tell the story even more than dialogue does. not many movies achieve that. and those visuals will surely remind you of taxi driver. the movie time setting is also a part of the story, late 70s, earlyu 80s. not fully established, it can be anytime, which adds to the realism. \n\nEVERY FRAME OF THIS MOVIE IS A PAINTING. it's almost paranoid how each frame of this movie is so perfectly staged. visually, a masterpiece.
