", "writing": "A Boder Family Christmas\n\nIt was Christmas time in the Boder household. Young Shane, the 11 year old doberman mix, awoke to a snowy day. As he went downstairs, the smell of pancakes filled the air. As did the sound of \"Jingle Fur Rock\". This time of year was not his favorite as it meant his soccer team would take a break. However, this Christmas in particular had to be very special as it was the first Christmas the family would celebrate with Shane's adopted sister, Evalyn. He had been thinking on how to make it special for her. After months of planning he thought he had finally gotten the plan down.\n\nEvalyn woke in her bed. The blonde-furred 4'8\" 10 year old four-tailed kitsune with the same blonde fur on her body except for the hands which are black fur. Her perky ears raise as she looks outside at the snow. She smiles as she has also been planning for something special. A few days, 3 in fact, after Christmas was to be Shane's twelfth birthday. She knew she'd have to get inventive to make it special for him. She goes downstairs and smiles at her big brother. The two had grown so close this past year they were almost inseparable.\n\nShane sees Evalyn and waves hello. The two sit down next to each other as they get ready to devour the stack of pancakes that their adopted mother, a red-furred 4'11\" 33 year old squirrel named Caithlyn, put in front of them. After the two filled their bellies they went to play video games, the two played for hours as other furs arrived and left, playing games with both of them.\n\nAfter the last of their friends left the two ate dinner before heading to different stores. Shane with their mom and Evalyn with their adopted dad, a 6'2\" black/brown-furred 36 year old Belgian Shepard named Gerard. The two leave with the aforementioned parent and go to different storesto christmas shop for the other sibling. The rest of the week leading to Christmas is rather uneventful.\n\nFinally, Christmas day arrives. The tree trunk is overflowing with presents as Shane comes downstairs. Evalyn follows shortly after and they help their mother set the table for breakfast which consisted of Omelets and home fries. After the family finishes their breakfast and cleans up, they gather around the tree to split up the presents. Once the presents are sorted the family of four each take turns opening their presents. It starts with Evalyn who opens up a present from her parents. Then Shane, their mother, and finally their dad before going back to Evalyn. This continues until Shane and Evalyn only have each other's gift left to open. It's Shane's turn. \n\nShane opens his present from Evalyn and gasps with glee when he sees it's a Bayern Munich soccer jersey signed by Arjen Robben. Shane hugs Evalyn who giggles and opens her gift. To find a box which has three more gifts inside. One is a picture of Evalyn and Shane, one is a picture of the whole family, and the last is a mini flute necklace that can be played. Evalyn smiles and puts the necklace on. It fits her perfectly. She hugs Shane tight and whispers, \"thank you,\" to Shane.\n\nThe weekend passes by as Evalyn and Shane play with the new stuff they got.
