A black wolf with greying hair and muzzle wriggles in his chair. His hands are tied with rope and a piece of cloth covers his eyes acting as a blindfold. In front of him sits a robotic bear doll. \n\nThis bear's right half is white and left half is black save for the muzzle and belly which is also white. It's left eye is red and looks like a bats' wing while it's right eye is a normal teddy bear black eye. The bear has a black nose. Its mouth is black on the right side with white teeth on the left both in a smile, though the left side is ominously so.\n\n\"W-Wait! You can't do this! I-I'm the Principal of this fine institution.\" The wolf struggles more and growls. \"Let me go!\"\n\n\"Let you go? Why would I do that? It's so much more enjoyable to watch you squirm. Besides there is no more need for you. I'm the Principal now!\" The bear states hitting a button with a hammer. The ground starts to shake as a piece of metal the wolf is on folds up into a rocket. This cat looked like a mirrored monokuma in coloring. \"My names Mononeko and I'll be replacing you.\"\n\nMonokuma starts to get up but the rocket crashes down upon him pinning the bear before both explode. The only audible noise is the \"Nyek! Nyek! Nyek!\" of Mononeko's laughter.\n\nDay 01:\n\nHello, my name is Gawain Wrynn, though everyone calls me Gwynn. I was chosen by the school's lottery to be paired with the other Ultimate students. I attend a school, maybe you've heard of it. It's called Hope's Peak Academy. For hundreds of years the school has taken in the best of the best, ultimate, students and released them into the world to help shape and change it for the better.\n\nNow you may be wondering what's so special about me. Nothing really, I protect this world from dying. I'm the Ultimate Guardian. I am a white furred tolf with sabretooth teeth and black stripes. I have a cyan circle of fur around his left eye with the same colored hair, violet eyes and silver fur on the tips of his ears and tail. My paw pads are turquoise in color. My right eye has a marking, a circle with three triangles - the bottoms of the triangles are curved to match the circle - around the circle, inside it that is a brighter shade of purple than the iris.\n\nAnyway that's enough about me. I should be excited about my first day at Hope's Peak, right? Well I did, at least until I stepped foot onto campus. Then I can't remember anything except a seemingly endless blackness that had this eerie feeling to it. The only way I can describe it is...despair.\n\nOne thing to note is all of the students here are 14 to 15 years old though I look about 10. It's one of the downsides of being the ultimate guardian, looking younger than you actually are.\n\nAnyway, I woke up in a classroom that looked to be modified into some type of bed. The windows have a bunch of metal on them so there's no way I can lift that. The bed is an extra large twin-sized bed. The walls are blue and green striped, so not too bad. I have two doors, a desk with a notebook, pencils and a nightstand on either side. A tv is mounted on the wall opposite the bed. The right nightstand has a lamp. The left nightstand has an alarm clock and note on it. The note reads:\n\nAttention to all students:\n\nMake your way to the Gymnasium for mandatory introductions by no later than 10:00. Inside the nightstand you found this note on will be your digital student handbook. This handbook will be of key use to you during your stay here at Hope's Peak Academy. It contains the rules and school map as well as storage space for knowledge you will gather here. In regards to the bathrooms only the bathrooms in the female dorms lock.\n\nThe Principal of Hope's Peak Academy\n\nI take the handbook and turn it on my name as well as my talent is displayed to the right of the information is the school map. I quickly dress in a crimson of his long-sleeved collared shirt, a cloak that is made of a black hard-leather outside and mixture of black and grey wolf fur inside, clasping it was a brooch of silver steel made to look like a dragon's head, ankle-length blue jeans that were held on by a black belt with a silver steel buckle, an orb pendant, white crew socks and brown shoes.\n\nHis eyes gaze around the tavern, as if scanning for trouble. Spotting the mare, he takes a seat at the bar. He didn't have any weapons on him though he had a silver ball on his tunic which was unheard of. He gives the mare a smile. \"Excuse me miss, might you have a room I could stay in tonight?\" He asks.\n\nWhen I arrive the other students are there waiting. \"Finally the last one is here, try to be here earlier next time.\" A mockingbird says. This mockingbird has multicolored feathers a mix of black, grey, and white. He has silver eyes. He's a bit chubby with no hair. She has glasses resting on the bridge of her muzzle. Other than that it's the usual school uniform. \"Tell me your deepest secrets. I am Nina Hornick. I am the Ultimate Therapist.\"\n\n\"Hey, don't forget me!\" A ferret with a ventriloquist doll fur pattern says. In place of the school uniform, he wears a tuxedo. \"I'm Stevie, the Ultimate Living Doll.\"\n\nA raccoon smiles, \"Im Lynn Tindall, the Ultimate BMXer.\" This raccoon boy has hazel eyes. He has a biker jacket, elbow and knee pads, boots, and biker gloves.\n\nA lion with black wavy hair and dark brown eyes. All the students, myself included, turn our attention to the podium on the stage. \"Now, please put your hands together for your principal, Mononeko.\" On the last word the robot cat doll, Mononeko, jumps out.\n\n\"Welcome all to what will certainly be an exciting year.\" Mononeko says.\n\n\"Is this some kind of a joke? Our principal is a cat doll?\" Ian says, confused.\n\n\"Hey Mr. Power. I'd watch that tone before it ends up coming back to bite you.\" Mononeko growls.\n\n\"Um excuse me sir...why are we here?\" I ask.\n\n\"Oh right. Well you guys are here to play a game.\" Mononeko adds.\n\n\"What kind of game? I like games.\" Stevie says.\n\n\"A killing game. One where if you kill a classmate and get away with it, you graduate.\" Mononeko smiles.\n\n\"Wait you want us to kill each other?\" I ask.\n\n\"Well duh you'll have to if you want to graduate.\" Mononeko says, \"So make with the killing!\"\n\nMononeko hops off the podium, leaving us to talk amongst ourselves.\n\n\"So which one of us will be the one to graduate?\" Finn asks.\n\n\"W-wait a minute. No one has to kill anyone. If we work together I'm sure we'll figure some other way out.\" I say.\n\nThe rest of the day was spent searching for anyway out. We found stairs leading up to another floor blocked off by a gate.\n\nThe next two days were also spent without results, though we did finish searching the first floor and updated our maps. Our curfew is 22:00 hours we're supposed to be in our rooms at this time until the mandatory wake up at 07:00 hours.\n\nDay 4\n\nWe are all gathered in the cafeteria discussing our next potential moves when Mononeko interrupts us. \"Every student to the Gymnasium for an assembly now!\"\n\nMononeko was furious at us for not having lessened the numbers yet. \"C'mon people. I know each and everyone of you has a reason to get out of here, that's why I created these.\" He gestures as balloons fall carrying cases with DVDs in them.\n\nWe head into the multimedia room to check out the DVDs. Mine was of my family. They told me how proud they were of me and then the scene cut off. I saw them bound and gagged with blindfolds on, screaming for what seemed to be help. The video ended with the words. \"Want to save them? Graduate.\" A look of horror is molded onto my face as I eject the CD. Ian screams and runs out of the room as Mononeko laughs. Valencia runs after Ian.\n\nWe retire to our rooms for the evening.\n\nDay 5:\n\nThe next morning I head to the cafeteria, the designated meet up spot. The ones there before me are Stevie, Nina, HV and Spike. We wait for a while until Valencia enters, \"Is Ian here yet?\" She asks. \n\n\"No, I haven't seen him all morning and I was the first one here.\" Spike says. The bear looks at the figure, "what do you think you're doing don't you know who I am! I'm Monokuma, the President of this fine institution."

"Sorry Monokuma, but there's a new despair in town." The figure says stepping into the light. It was a robotic cat doll. This cat looked like a mirrored monokuma in coloring. "My names Mononeko and I'll be replacing you."

Monokuma starts to get up but the rocket crashes down upon him pinning the bear before both explode. The only audible noise is the "Nyek! Nyek! Nyek!" of Mononeko's laughter.

Day 01:

Hello, my name is Gawain Wrynn, though everyone calls me Gwynn. I was chosen by the school's lottery to be paired with the other Ultimate students. I attend a school, maybe you've heard of it. It's called Hope's Peak Academy. For hundreds of years the school has taken in the best of the best, ultimate, students and released them into the world to help shape and change it for the better.

Now you may be wondering what's so special about me. Nothing really, I protect this world from dying. I'm the Ultimate Guardian. I am a white furred tolf with sabretooth teeth and black stripes. I have a cyan circle of fur around his left eye with the same colored hair, violet eyes and silver fur on the tips of his ears and tail. My paw pads are turquoise in color. My right eye has a marking, a circle with three triangles - the bottoms of the triangles are curved to match the circle - around the circle, inside it that is a brighter shade of purple than the iris.

Anyway that's enough about me. I should be excited about my first day at Hope's Peak, right? Well I did, at least until I stepped foot onto campus. Then I can't remember anything except a seemingly endless blackness that had this eerie feeling to it. The only way I can describe it is...despair.

One thing to note is all of the students here are 14 to 15 years old though I look about 10. It's one of the downsides of being the ultimate guardian, looking younger than you actually are.

Anyway, I woke up in a classroom that looked to be modified into some type of bed. The windows have a bunch of metal on them so there's no way I can lift that. The bed is an extra large twin-sized bed. The walls are blue and green striped, so not too bad. I have two doors, a desk with a notebook, pencils and a nightstand on either side. A tv is mounted on the wall opposite the bed. The right nightstand has a lamp. The left nightstand has an alarm clock and note on it. The note reads:

Attention to all students:

Make your way to the Gymnasium for mandatory introductions by no later than 10:00. Inside the nightstand you found this note on will be your digital student handbook. This handbook will be of key use to you during your stay here at Hope's Peak Academy. It contains the rules and school map as well as storage space for knowledge you will gather here. In regards to the bathrooms only the bathrooms in the female dorms lock.

The Principal of Hope's Peak Academy

I take the handbook and turn it on my name as well as my talent is displayed to the right of the information is the school map. I quickly dress in a crimson of his long-sleeved collared shirt, a cloak that is made of a black hard-leather outside and mixture of black and grey wolf fur inside, clasping it was a brooch of silver steel made to look like a dragon's head, ankle-length blue jeans that were held on by a black belt with a silver steel buckle, an orb pendant, white crew socks and brown shoes.

His eyes gaze around the tavern, as if scanning for trouble. Spotting the mare, he takes a seat at the bar. He didn't have any weapons on him though he had a silver ball on his tunic which was unheard of. He gives the mare a smile. "Excuse me miss, might you have a room I could stay in tonight?" He asks.

When I arrive the other students are there waiting. "Finally the last one is here, try to be here earlier next time." A mockingbird says. This mockingbird has multicolored feathers a mix of black, grey, and white. He has silver eyes. He's a bit chubby with no hair. He wears the school uniform, consisting of a brown blazer with pockets on each side, three golden buttons, a white collared shirt with a red tie tied neatly under the collar, brown shoes and a brown pair of pants with pockets.

"Be nice, Ian." A german shepherd, with collar-length straw-like dirty blonde hair and brown eyes. He has an athletic build. A leather jacket with a grey hoodie underneath. The hoodie has a knight's helmet on the hood, says, "Forgive his rudeness he's one who thinks anyone who arrives later than him is late. His name is..."

"I can speak for myself, Quentin, thank you very much. My name is Ian Power and I'm the Ultimate Debater." The mockingbird says.

The german shepherd, Quentin, rubs the back of his head. "Right, of course, I'm Quentin DeMarco, but everyone calls me Spike. I'm the Ultimate Detective."

A white-furred rabbit with sparkling green eyes walks over. She's dressed in a black and white religious habit and a matching veil. She has a  figure to where the habit just barely hangs loosely. She has long straight black hair. "I'm a servant of the Lord. My name is Koyo Hisakawa. I'm the Ultimate Nun."

A white and blue scaled dragon with yellow eyes. One of his horns is nicked slightly. He has a wiry build. His hair is a fiery red spiky hair. He wears a doctor's outfit with a surgical mask. "I'm Finn Altoviti. The Ultimate Surgeon is at your service."

A hawk with white feathers on his face. His eyes are yellow and he has red feathers in his neck. He wears a bow tie and suspenders with his uniform. "I'm Nico Castelo, The Ultimate Meterologist."

A fox with the classic red and white fur. She has green eyes. She wears a green hat with a red feather in it. She stands at 6'0" and is roughly 3" taller than me. She smiles, "Name's Valencia Queen, I'm the Ultimate Archer."

A wolf with grey fur and blue eyes. He has a black tailored suit coat, black suit pants, a white collared shirt and a black tie growls, "Quiet, I'm focusing on the music."

"Um I don't hear anything." I reply curious.

"Of course not it's not out, not yet. I'm the Ultimate Composer. The name is Rufus Gray." The wolf says.

A black horse with a scar in his left eye wearing a white t-shirt, plaid collared shirt, blue jeans, black duster, a cartridge belt, cowboy boots, and a black Stetson hat smiles, "My name is Ignatius, Ignatius Kidd. I'm the Ultimate Gunman."

A tuxedo cat with amber eyes she has an ample curvy figure with a white collared shirt, the top button of which is unbuttoned, exposing some cleavage. She has glasses resting on the bridge of her muzzle. Other than that it's the usual school uniform. "Tell me your deepest secrets. I am Nina Hornick. I am the Ultimate Therapist."

"Hey, don't forget me!" A ferret with a ventriloquist doll fur pattern says. In place of the school uniform, he wears a tuxedo. "I'm Stevie, the Ultimate Living Doll."

A raccoon smiles, "Im Lynn Tindall, the Ultimate BMXer." This raccoon boy has hazel eyes. He has a biker jacket, elbow and knee pads, boots, and biker gloves.

A lion with black wavy hair and dark brown eyes. He wears black suit jacket with the sleeves rolled up past the elbows, a white collared shirt with the sleeves rolled up like the jacket, black tie, and black suit pants. "Bonjour, mon ami my name is Samuel Garnier. I am, how you say, the Ultimate Escape Artist." Though he pronounces Artist as Arteest.

A ring-tailed lemur with hands that are stained purple, green, brown, and blue from paint. She wears a smock over her uniform and holds a palette. "I'm Norah Alfons, the Ultimate Painter."

A gold furred kitsune with white on his muzzle. He has orange hair and black goggles. He wears a bomber jacket over his school uniform. "I love the beauty of an open flame. I'm Arthur Beaumont, the Ultimate Pyromaniac."

A dragon fox hybrid walks up to me. He has a multicolored fur coat and horns, consisting of red, tan, bright green, blue, black  and yellow in various locations on his person. His horns are bright red, he has blue streaks going across his face with a blue beard, has a bright green "V" going across his chest with a tan patch underneath the green "V". His tail is black on the top with bright green towards the bottom appearing in a wave like pattern with what can be described as bubbles of green floating up into the black, and red spikes going down the sides. There are two yellow lightning bolts on either side of his back, right before his wings which are black and silver. His forked tongue is also bright green, and his eyes are purple. He wore black jeans and wrist bands.

"Volt? Is that you?"

The dragon fox smiles, "Hey Gwynn. Long time, no see."

The dragon fox is High Voltage, the Ultimate Mage. We were friends in elementary school but we went to different middle schools and I didn't think I'd see him again.

"Well seems like everyone's here." A voice rings out from the stage. All the students, myself included, turn our attention to the podium on the stage. "Now, please put your hands together for your principal, Mononeko." On the last word the robot cat doll, Mononeko, jumps out.

"Welcome all to what will certainly be an exciting year." Mononeko says.

"Is this some kind of a joke? Our principal is a cat doll?" Ian says, confused.

"Hey Mr. Power. I'd watch that tone before it ends up coming back to bite you." Mononeko growls.

"Um excuse me sir...why are we here?" I ask.

"Oh right. Well you guys are here to play a game." Mononeko adds.

"What kind of game? I like games." Stevie says.

"A killing game. One where if you kill a classmate and get away with it, you graduate." Mononeko smiles.

"Wait you want us to kill each other?" I ask.

"Well duh you'll have to if you want to graduate." Mononeko says, "So make with the killing!"

Mononeko hops off the podium, leaving us to talk amongst ourselves.

"So which one of us will be the one to graduate?" Finn asks.

"W-wait a minute. No one has to kill anyone. If we work together I'm sure we'll figure some other way out." I say.

The rest of the day was spent searching for anyway out. We found stairs leading up to  another floor blocked off by a gate.

The next two days were also spent without results, though we did finish searching the first floor and updated our maps. Our curfew is 22:00 hours we're supposed to be in our rooms at this time until the mandatory wake up at 07:00 hours.

Day 4

We are all gathered in the cafeteria discussing our next potential moves when Mononeko interrupts us. "Every student to the Gymnasium for an assembly now!"

Mononeko was furious at us for not having lessened the numbers yet. "C'mon people. I know each and everyone of you has a reason to get out of here, that's why I created these." He gestures as balloons fall carrying cases with DVDs in them.

We head into the multimedia room to check out the DVDs. Mine was of my family. They told me how proud they were of me and then the scene cut off. I saw them bound and gagged with blindfolds on, screaming for what seemed to be help. The video ended with the words. "Want to save them? Graduate." A look of horror is molded onto my face as I eject the CD. Ian screams and runs out of the room as Mononeko laughs. Valencia runs after Ian.

We retire to our rooms for the evening.

Day 5:

The next morning I head to the cafeteria, the designated meet up spot. The ones there before me are Stevie, Nina, HV and Spike. We wait for a while until Valencia enters, "Is Ian here yet?" She asks.

"No, I haven't seen him all morning and I was the first one here." Spike says. The next to arrive is Finn.

"Finn, did you see Ian?" She asks.

"He wasn't in the hall on the way here if that's what you're asking." Valencia runs out.

"I wonder where Ian could be." I say.

Valencia screams.

By the time we get to the room Valencia is unconscious on the ground. The bathroom door is open. In it is Ian's body.
