Normally the hybrid named Tyler would have been in bed by then but it was autumn and he had been having bad dreams for about a month now. He sighed, the homecoming was coming up and every girl he asked had either been asked already and accepted or turned him down, even Trevor had a date. He was walking under a street lamp when he noticed a second shadow, well it wasn't uncommon for people to be walking even this late at night. He picked up the pace as he went under a second street lamp and the second shadow had as well. He turned around and was about to say something, but no one was there. Shaking his head he turned around and bumped straight into a dark figure.\nHe landed on his butt with an \"oof.\"\n\"Hey what's the big I'd--\" Tyler said looking up at the girl she was a lioness no doubt about that but her fur was so pale and her eyes were like crimson.\n\"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry I didn't see you there let me help you up.\" She said offering Tyler her hand. Tyler smiled and took the hand, \"uh..no it was my fault I-I really should've been paying more attention.\" \nTyler could see that she looked a little bit like a bat mostly a wolf and that she was well...endowed. She couldn't be much older than him. She was beautiful and he couldn't help but blush.\n\"So cutie I'm jade, what's your name?\" she asked, her eyes sparkling from the light.\nHearing this made Tyler blush even more, \"M-my name's T-Tyler.\"\nSeeing him blush and stammer made Jade giggle a little.\n\"Okay Tyler, Ill see you at school tomorrow be sure to ask me to homecoming.\" She said purring a finger under his chin so they could lock eyes. The group including her were all standing by her locker which ironically was next to his. When the last of the group had gone she let go of him, she purred, \"Now is there something you wanted to ask me?\"\nTyler blushed, \"Jade, w-would you do me the honor of accompanying me to homecoming\" he said holding out a bouquet of roses, a mixture of red, pink, yellow and white.\nShe smiled and took the roses, \"Oh, of course I will Tyler.\" She grabbed him and kissed him for what seemed like hours.\nShe finally broke the kiss and handed him a card, \"pick me up at 7 sharp.\"\n************************************************************\nIt was the night of the homecoming dance. She kindly accepts and he guides her to the limo and sits down next to her. After telling the driver where to go he looks over at her and smiles. She looks at him, \"You look so nice in a button up shirt and jeans, Tyler,\" she says putting her as on his lap.\n\"Uh...thanks jade...b-black is very slimming on you\" he says screaming at himself in his mind.\nWay to go, idiot, now she'll think you think she's fat. Chapter 1: Dark Tails



It was close to ten pm and the 13 year old hybrid needed to get home.
