Confused and dazed, Marshal felt himself carried into a different room where he was laid on a very plush bed and pillow. Almost at once, Zuma uncuffed Marshall's wrists, only to restrain each one individually above his head. Cody did the same with his ankles. Zuma then followed up with an oxygen mask with hose that went over Marshall's muzzle. "W-what's this?" Marshall managed to croak. "Hehe, don't you wemembwe, dude?" said Zuma as he connected the other end to a tank, "this is youwe wowek, dude." Marshall gasped as realization hit him. It was an experimental gas, developed specifically to relax the body, stimulate the nerves, and invigorate the mind. And he would know, he, Marshall, had been the one that had developed it! However, he had never before tested it! And as if that alone weren't enough, the bound Dally felt something being shoved into his tailhole! There was a click, and the pup felt the thing in his tailhole begin to vibrate. "Uggh, Z-Zuma, please wait! This is not a good idea!" pleaded Marshall, "I haven't tested the gas yet! Please, d-don't - " But Zuma cut him off. "Don't wowwy dude," he said as he secured the hose to the tank, "Wyder's ordewe's were to make you comfortable and monitor you while you test it youweself, dude. If it seems like it's going bad, we'll pull the plug and call up Katie and an Adventuwe Bay Medic."
Marshall had his mouth open, but closed it having been lost for words. He, Marshall, himself a guinea pig for his own creation? He didn't really like the idea, but then again, what choice did he have? Resigned to his fate, Marshall heard Zuma turning the tank's valve followed by the hiss of the gas. Immediately, Marshall felt the effects of the gas coursing though him. Then, a thought struck the bound pup. Why use the gas? What was the point? As if reading his mind, Zuma spoke as he and Cody were walking out the door.
"Oh, Wyder also taught me how to do this, since it was part of his orders" said Zuma. With a grin, the chocolate lab snapped his fingers and made a bunch of ghost tongues appear and start licking Marshall's sensitive spots. "TH-this is just like Rocky!" thought Marshall as he wiggled about. With a resigned giggle, Marshall knew that from the moment he heard the door close, he was stuck inside until Ryder decided he was done. All he, Marshall, could do was enjoy the ride.
