In the last couple years, things have been like this for me; a new game is in development, a promising cartoon is announced; the trailer of a desired movie is revealed; the chance of working with a liked artist appears. Then it happens: HYPE. My expectations grow endlessly, my enthusiasm reaches the high orbit, my desire to meet the final product burns my insides, and when I finally do it, something else happens: DISAPPOINTMENT. And it hits me harder than Hype did. Why does this happens? Maybe I forgot how to enjoy..? Maybe my expectations are too high..? I don't know, but this began some years ago, and didn't stopped until now. I may be as much Hyped as I could, but at the end, the game will be unplayable, the cartoon will be retarded as fuck, the movie will be indigestible, and the artist's work won't be what I expected from their usual performance. Is this my issue only? Maybe it's something related to becoming more aged, and stuff like that? I don't know lol.
