(aka their hair, females grown out theirs on the right, males on the left ^^ ) the god they worship blessed their ancestors with wealth and endless resources so long as they promised to always give the god tribute once a year, and worship the god and no other gods. the god touched the Brimknoles forehead, which sprouted a seed, that dropped to the ground and instantly grew a fruit tree large enough to feed the species for generations to come, and as he took the first bite of one of the trees fruits his hair grew to touch the ground. the species since then grows their hair out to show respect and remembrance to the god and his words. (n shows they still have faith in the religion) \nBrimknoles believe in keeping their Kinjji long to show respect and honor to their god of the forest. it is considered to be disrespectful to tie back your kinjji unless your at war, or planning to take a life (be it from a forest animal for dinner or open stating your challenging some one to a battle to the death) The brimknoles will only cut their Kinjji when they are being punished, banished, die, (your kanjji would be cut to be higher than your chin, the closer to your scalp the worse your offence) or on their wedding day. It is considered a tradition and honor to cut your soon to be spouse's Kanjji before you swear to stay by their side forever (its like saying i do) the married couple cut their spouses Kanjji to just below the chin. they exchange the cut kanjji and toss it into the air, signifying they have thrown out their family's name and bonds, and choose to form new bonds with their new bride/groom~ \n** Brimknoles with curly hair are rare in the community, and are considered sexy and highly desired by the males. \n**** its also noted that the \"dominant spouse\" is to grow their hair longer than their spouse. this mate would be in charge of the house, and dealing with affairs from other families (such as if you wanted to speak to the person in charge of the household to buy food or trade something you'd look for the one with the longer Kinjji) \n\nMales:: \nmales are born with one thick tail, that is split into two at birth, they still retain full control over both tails and use them as weapons when fighting. they are tipped with sharp blades (they like to dip in poison before a battle) that can slice thro a tree with ease. males are made to be warriors, learning how to fight as soon as they learn to walk. they are told to hide their emotions, to show emotion shows weakness as a male. Males are given a weapon of either a knife, spear, bow, or all of the above to hunt and fight with. they use their horns to butt heads to show dominance when they fight over a female. \nand they are a bit pampered by the women, but treated like crap when amongst other men. they act kinda like frat boys when their adolescents, and like sneaky politicians when their older. (underminding one another in a respectful/intelligent way) \nits said amongst the women that you can tell a males \"strength\" by the size of his horns. (its also joked that his horns will reflect the size of his junk ^__ -) \n\nFemales:: \nfemales, are born with one thin tail with 3 hard blades at the end (their small stubby n soft when their born, n harden as they grow) They are generally much smaller than the males, and most females are prone to being born with a twin. they are extremely fertile and have about 1-2 kids each pregnancy. females are the ones who train their children (from age 3-13) the basics of fighting. (after the boys turn 13, they go to a trainer class to learn more, and then come home and teach their mothers any new fighting techniques they have learned. Females are considered \"secret powerhouses\" they are generally smaller than the males, but seem to be quicker, smarter, and more flexible than the males. they are the last line of defence for their village. they prefer to set traps for intruders, and will pair up to fight attackers (2 females back to back when fighting) their are normally more females than males in a clan, so some husbands will have 3 or more wives (each wife will shorten their kanjji to show their roll in the family, first wife will have the longest, newest wife will have the shortest )\nFemales love to gossip, and chit chat. but are trained in preserving the religion of the tribe, they are taught to read and write (a skill the boys have to request to be taught) and they are the ones who know how to cook, clean, set traps, make tools n weapons, and are the ones to teach their children how to do all this (most males come with a basic knowledge of that all, but they often have to ask a wife to fix their spears or blades) \n\nBreeding:: \nboth genders are very fertile, they tend to produce twins or triplets, altho its rare to produce identical twins. they can breed with other species, but most other species find it hard to understand their religion n beliefs so its rare to find a mix-breed Brimknole. its very common for HERMS to be born from a mixed bloodline, its unsure why, but the Brimknole people find it to be a sign of troubled times ahead and often try to shun the herm from the village at an early age. so if you see one of these walking in a city, its probably a herm. \n\nWisps:: \nwhen a Brimknole turns 13, they are sent into the depths of the forest to survive on their own for 3 days. on the third day they must find the cave of the ancestors and in the cave they will find a group of wisps, they must choose one of the wisps to become their companion. \nwisps can live as long as their Brinknole companion, they will die shortly after their masters death. they can not speak, but the connection they have with their master makes it so they can command the wisp to do things. \n\nthey possess a certain degree of magic, they can move objects, make things appear to vanish, they make things grow rapidly, some can possess people for short bursts of time, n some can spout little flecks of fire. find their master where ever they are in the world, n love to pull pranks~ \n=================================================",
