It has been about an hour or so since he ran off, butt naked and dripping in an attempt to keep the eyes of mystery man number one off of him.\n\n\"Chaos, what is going on with me?...\" he muttered, the mattress muffling his whines. \"It hasn't even been a day since i was scared someone would see my ass in that stupid dress and now i'm getting caught having sex in broad daylight with a guy i barely know by another guy i don't even know.\"\n\nSonic rolled over and stared at the ceiling.\n\n\"I'm becoming a slut... My mom would kill me...\"\n\nSonic sighed before sitting up and sliding off the bed. His plan, which he came up with while breaking the sound barrier on the way to Shadow's room, was to shower, get dressed, and hide until the embarrassment died down. Or until a hole sprouted in the bedroom floor and swallowed him whole, which ever happened first. Unfortunately, the floor held no mercy for him and he knew from experience that the blush wasn't going to fade until that memory was completely wiped from his mind.\n\nWhich meant he was going to die with a blush on his face.\n\nOnce dressed in a second set of, borrowed, clothing, Sonic decided to grab the bull by the horns and made his way downstairs. He padded his way downstairs barefooted and peeked into Shadow's study. The hyper fox did stop by a few minutes after he ran off and told him he should wait there because Shadow had some business to take care of... It was so hard not to think that he just didn't want Sonic sneaking away before he was able to tell him straight how disgusted he was with him for acting in such ways. Shadow obviously wanted to tell him that he had changed his mind about spending the weekend together and that he'd call him a cab, but he had to go before he made him sick. Yep.\n\nSonic shook his head and tugged at his own ear. \n\n'Stop thinking that way Sonic. He can't get disgusted at you for something he started right? Pushing down that particular garment would not be a very good idea, although, judging from Shadow's glowing eyes, it would seem he was all for the pants coming off. \n\nOf course.\n\n\"So, um, i'm dressed.... What next? I'm not really hungry for pizza, but we can go see a movie together... There was this new horror that just came out.\"\n\nShadow tapped his claws on the desk before standing up and taking his hand, tugging him away from the door and onto the sofa. Anyways, our clan in particular operates a lot like wolf packs... We don't elect a new alpha or anything like that. The Alpha is chosen by being the strongest and if anyone wants to become the new Alpha, they would have to beat the old one in a fight to prove their worthiness. Sonic glanced at the alarm clock on the nightstand before burying his face into the mattress. It has been about an hour or so since he ran off, butt naked and dripping in an attempt to keep the eyes of mystery man number one off of him.

"Chaos, what is going on with me?..." he muttered, the mattress muffling his whines. "It hasn't even been a day since i was scared someone would see my ass in that stupid dress and now i'm getting caught having sex in broad daylight with a guy i barely know by another guy i don't even know."

Sonic rolled over and stared at the ceiling.

"I'm becoming a slut... My mom would kill me..."

Sonic sighed before sitting up and sliding off the bed. His plan, which he came up with while breaking the sound barrier on the way to Shadow's room, was to shower, get dressed, and hide until the embarrassment died down. Or until a  hole sprouted in the bedroom floor and swallowed him whole, which ever happened first. Unfortunately, the floor held no mercy for him and he knew from experience that the blush wasn't going to fade until that memory was completely wiped from his mind.

Which meant he was going to die with a blush on his face.

Once dressed in a second set of, borrowed, clothing, Sonic decided to grab the bull by the horns and made his way downstairs. He padded his way downstairs barefooted and peeked into Shadow's study. The hyper fox did stop by a few minutes after he ran off and told him he should wait there because Shadow had some business to take care of... It was so hard not to think that he just didn't want Sonic sneaking away before he was able to tell him straight how disgusted he was with him for acting in such ways. Shadow obviously wanted to tell him that he had changed his mind about spending the weekend together and that he'd call him a cab, but he had to go before he made him sick. Yep.

Sonic shook his head and tugged at his own ear.

'Stop thinking that way Sonic. He can't get disgusted at you for something he started right? You already knew this wasn't gonna be permanent so take your lumps like the herm that you are. It's surprising enough that he slept with you twice, no need to get greedy and want more then some shameless sex'

Sonic nodded. His inner voice made sense but it didn't make him feel any better... Of course he knew it wasn't going to grow into anything more then that but that didn't stop him from hoping... Even though he was a closet romantic, even he had a hard time believing Shadow wouldn't get bored with him and move on once this weekend was over. Or even sooner for that matter. "Thanks for the new clothes... I feel like i'm raiding the closet of every female you know..." And then it occurred to Sonic exactly how many females Shadow would know and quickly changed the subject.

"Catching up on some paperwork?"

The sly smile on Shadow's face told him that his ploy was incredibly obvious, but he played along anyways.

"No, my manager ins in charge of the club for the weekend. This was just something to keep me busy until you decided to come back down"

Sonic looked away and scratched the back of his head with one hand while the other stuffed it self in the jeans pocket before pulling back out. Pushing down that particular garment would not be a very good idea, although, judging from Shadow's glowing eyes, it would seem he was all for the pants coming off.

Of course.

"So, um, i'm dressed.... What next? I'm not really hungry for pizza, but we can go see a movie together... There was this new horror that just came out."

Shadow tapped his claws on the desk before standing up and taking his hand, tugging him away from the door and onto the sofa. Shadow sat next to him but didn't say anything which made Sonic nervous.

"We've got a lot to talk about, so you're gonna get the sort condensed version. Listen carefully"

Was the disappointment he felt once Shadow clarified that when he said 'we're not done yet' he actually meant talking rather then sex? We do come into this world naked after all. Sonic shut his trap but he was still glaring daggers.

"Now then, if you had let me explain what Mephiles came to tell me-"

Shadow clamped a hand over his mouth and gave him a look. "Anyways," he continued, making sure to cup his hand to avoid small sharp hedgehog fangs, "Mephiles has been tell me about a particular someone who's been stirring up trouble within the clan. Now normally, i wouldn't bother telling you any of this but seeing how i have no idea what may happen next, i feel i should give you some warning so you won't be caught off guard"

Sonic blinked. Caught off guard? He's supposed to be on guard? He just raised an eyeridge and perked his ears forward to show he was listening.

"Mephiles has been  keeping me up to date on what one of the lesser members of the clan has been upto. Unfortunately, said member is my cousin Scourge."

Scourge? Sonic frowned and furrowed his eyebrows before nodding at him to continue.

"Scourge thinks he'd make a better Alpha then me."

Sonic snorted and Shadow just smirked.

"I know right? Anyways, our clan in particular operates a lot like wolf packs... We don't elect a new alpha or anything like that. The Alpha is chosen by being the strongest and if anyone wants to become the new Alpha, they would have to beat the old one in a fight to prove their worthiness. Even though my father decided to retire, i still had to fight him to prove my strength. And there's no way Scourge could beat me in a fight, fair or foul, and he knows this"

Sonic rolled his eyes at Shadow's cocky behavior. Though a small part of him believed that was definitely true....

"So like the coward that he is," Shadow continued, "He's been trying to use manipulation and treachery instead of just a good ol' fashion challenge. It seems lately he's been trying to get the clan to turn on me in hopes of having me kicked off the position. If I were to get ousted by a popular uprising, there would be a massive power vacuum in which any male with more balls then brains would attack anything that moved for the position"

Sonic grimaced. That didn't sound good....

Shadow saw his expression and nodded. "It would be a mess. not to mention that kind of infighting would just drain time, resources and energy we should be using to focus on the Revealing with the other Supernatural folks"

'Revealing?'

"The Revealing is a term used to refer to the public announcement of who we really are to the mortals" Shadow explained noticing Sonic's confused expression. "A lot of us think its only a matter of time before it happens. And i am one of them... We can't hide forever and i see no reason why we should in this day and age. At the very least, if we reveal ourselves to the mortals we'd be the ones in control of what happens next"

Sonic nodded. True true... He understood where he was getting at... but he was getting tired of not being able to talk. He muttered something but was ignored.

"Mephiles came over to tell me that Scourge had went and gathered up 3 of the most well respected elders in the clan. I supposed his intentions were to show me that he had the elders on his side and therefore, the entirety of the clan. It didn't go the way he wanted it to mind you but i can assume that's what he was planning... And he wasn't too keen on the fact that his plan ended in failure. Unfortunately, because of his plot i had to give some new a bit prematurely..." Shadow frowned. "And this is where you come in...."

Sonic's ears perked "?"

"Theres this very old tradition saying how only a Lycan with a mate can be Alpha. My cousin thought he could use the fact that i'm mate-less against me.
